Chapter 41: A ’Serious’ Discussion

The next morning, Long Feng left Clear River City with Han Wei.

The two traveled toward the distant mountains, with Han Wei walking ahead and pointing out the path.

"This way."

Han Wei raised his hand and pointed toward a narrow mountain trail.

"Keep following this path. After we pass that ridge, we’ll have to turn left."

Long Feng followed silently.

The journey was longer than he had expected. They crossed several hills and passed through a dense forest before reaching a rocky valley.

Han Wei occasionally stopped to confirm their direction.

"Turn here."

A little later, he pointed toward another path.

"Not that one. We need to go through the valley on the right."

Long Feng glanced at him.

"You seem quite familiar with this place."

Han Wei quickly smiled.

"I’ve been here many times since I was young. It’s only natural that I know the way."

Long Feng said nothing and continued walking.

Han Wei secretly glanced behind him. His heart was beating faster and faster. They were almost there, just a little farther.

He carefully concealed the excitement in his eyes. As long as he could bring Long Feng to the Blood Eagle Gang’s headquarters, everything would be different.

No matter how powerful this man was, he couldn’t possibly escape once he entered the gang’s territory.

There were several True Spirit Realm experts in the Blood Eagle Gang, along with Golden Core Realm experts.

Even a Golden Core Realm cultivator would have to pay a terrible price if they dared to enter the Blood Eagle Gang alone.

’When we arrive, I’ll watch you beg for mercy.’

Han Wei’s eyes flashed with resentment. He imagined Long Feng being captured and tortured.

"How much farther?"

Han Wei immediately pointed ahead.

They continued forward. After another hour, the surrounding landscape gradually changed. The trees became fewer, while enormous cliffs appeared on both sides.

Soon, a huge canyon appeared before them. Han Wei’s expression finally relaxed.

"We’re here."

The Blood Eagle Gang’s headquarters was hidden deep within the canyon. The natural terrain made the place extremely difficult to attack.

There was only one main entrance into the canyon, while steep cliffs rose on both sides. Inside the canyon was a massive cave entrance.

Buildings had been constructed around the cave, blending into the rocky surroundings. A large stone gate stood at the entrance.

Long Feng’s eyes narrowed slightly.

It was indeed an excellent defensive location.

Enemies couldn’t easily sneak in from the sides because of the surrounding cliffs. Anyone wanting to enter had to pass through the main gate.

It’s a place that was difficult to attack, but easy to defend.

As he went ahead, he found two men stood guard outside the gate.

Long Feng’s eyes swept over them to know their strength. Both guards were True Spirit Realm cultivators.

However, their auras were slightly weaker than those two idiots he encountered in the Moonlit Pavilion.

Han Wei walked toward them without hesitation.

The two guards immediately noticed him. Their expressions changed.

"Young Master!"

Han Wei didn’t even bother responding. He simply walked inside.

The guard’s gaze landed at Long Feng behind him. Their eyes contained confusion and suspicion.

They had never seen this man before. But Han Wei, the Gang Leader’s son, was personally leading him here. That’s why neither of them dared to stop him.

Long Feng calmly walked past them. After passing through the gate, Han Wei led Long Feng deeper into the headquarters.

The interior was much larger than it appeared from outside. Several stone buildings had been constructed inside the canyon.

Han Wei continued walking until they reached the largest building.

"The main hall is ahead."

He pushed open the heavy stone doors and came inside.

Several people were gathered in the hall. At the center, sat a middle-aged man with a powerful aura.

His expression was stern, and his presence alone made the surrounding atmosphere heavy.

He was Han Wei’s father, Han Tianxiong, the leader of the Blood Eagle Gang. Several cultivators sat on either side of him.

Long Feng swept his gaze across the hall. Most of them were at the Golden Core Realm.

Han Wei’s eyes immediately lit up. He hurried forward.

"Father!"

Seeing his son, Han Tianxiong frowned.

"Why did you suddenly come back?"

Han Wei immediately pointed toward Long Feng. His voice was filled with grievance.

"Father, that man attacked me and my guards! He killed Qin Mo and Zhao Kui! You have to avenge me!"

Han Tianxiong’s expression darkened. His gaze turned toward Long Feng.

"Who are you?"

Its just not him, all the people in the hall looked at him with unpleasant expressions. But when the person in front of him did not reply, their anger increased even more.

He beat their young master, killed their men, and now he is walking right into their house and acting arrogant. They were thugs who got angry easily anyway, so how could they not lose their temper over something this huge?

And as expected, their killing intent surge.

"Guards take him down!"

Just as their leader ordered, several men immediately stood up and rushed toward Long Feng.

But Long Feng’s expression remained completely calm. He didn’t even bother drawing his weapon. As the first guard approached, he casually raised his hand.

Boom!

A powerful force exploded outward. The guards were sent flying backward. Several of them crashed into the walls.

The entire hall fell silent.

But this silence didn’t last long as a Golden Core Realm cultivator sitting nearby immediately stood up.

Han Tianxiong’s eyes narrowed. He had underestimated the stranger.

"Interesting."

A cold voice came from the side. A burly middle-aged man stepped forward. He was Han Tianxiong’s younger brother, Han Tianyu. He was also a Golden Core Realm cultivator.

"Big brother, let me handle him."

Without waiting for an answer, Han Tianyu rushed forward. His spiritual energy erupted without hesitation as he threw a powerful punch toward Long Feng.

"Who do you think you are?"

Long Feng glanced at him, then he moved.

Bang!

His fist collided with Han Tianyu’s chest. The result was completely one-sided. Han Tianyu’s body flew backward like a broken kite.

He crashed heavily against the stone wall before falling to the ground.

"Cough!"

Blood escaped from the corner of his mouth. The hall became deathly silent. Han Tianxiong’s expression changed dramatically.

"Little brother!"

He immediately stood up, his eyes filled with anger and a desire to kill.

"You dare injure my brother in my own headquarters!"

Long Feng looked at him coldly.

"I came here to talk nicely, but some people don’t learn until they get a beating."

Han Tianxiong’s spiritual energy began to surge. He was about to attack, but suddenly, a hand landed gently on his shoulder.

In the instant, Han Tianxiong froze.

A tall man had entered the hall and stood behind him without anyone noticing.

The Soul-Dominated puppet had been ordered to follow Long Feng and had now arrived in human form.

To everyone in the hall, he appeared to be nothing more than a powerful cultivator accompanying Long Feng.

Patriarch Wang stood silently behind him.

His expression was calm. His presence alone made several Golden Core Realm cultivators feel uneasy.

Han Tianxiong slowly turned his head.

"Who are you?"

Patriarch Wang didn’t answer, so Long Feng stepped forward slightly.

"I came here because I have something to discuss with the Blood Eagle Gang. So can we sit down and talk now?"

Han Tianxiong stared at him, his murderous intent didn’t vanished, but it lowered a few points.

"After doing all this, now you want to talk. Who talks like this?"

"Exactly." But Long Feng just smiled like he does all of this every day.

Han Tianxiong’s eyes narrowed. He didn’t understand where this man’s confidence came from. But the strange man standing behind Long Feng gave him a bad feeling.

He didn’t know how strong that mysterious man was, but the fact that Patriarch Wang could appear behind him without anyone noticing was already enough to make him cautious.

He was not even sure if he could win if a fight broke out between the two of them.

For the first time, Han Tianxiong realized that the situation might not be as simple as he had imagined.

But different to his caution attitude, Long Feng was very relaxed. He walked over and casually took a high position seat, while Patriarch Wang silently stood behind him.

The people in the hall exchanged glances.

Seeing Long Feng sitting there as if he were in his own home made their expressions even uglier.

It was as though the people surrounding him didn’t exist or didn’t matter to him.

Several members of the gang clenched their fists in anger.

But whenever their gazes landed on Patriarch Wang, the anger in their eyes was quickly replaced by fear.

Han Tianxiong noticed this as well. He took a deep breath and looked at Long Feng.

"You beat my son and killed several of my men, just to come here. So tell me, what exactly do you want?"

"Nothing complicated." Long Feng leaned back slightly, making himself comfortable. "I simply wanted to meet the Blood Eagle Gang’s leader."

"Then why didn’t you just say so? Why did you have to fight your way here?"

Long Feng smiled faintly.

"If I had simply asked your son to bring me here, do you think he would have agreed?"

Hearing his words, Han Wei’s expression immediately became ugly. He wants to protest but his father signaled him to stop before looking back at Long Feng.

"Then what do you want from us?"

"That’s what I want to discuss." Long Feng paused for a moment before continuing. "Actually, I’m here to give you a deal."
