Chapter 3324 Second Creation
Chapter 3324 Second Creation
As Alex found a steady schedule between absorbing the Void and the Sun, Shumi alternated between staying with him and going into his Soul Space to be with the World Tree.
The World Tree was now much happier than before, allowing Whisker to talk to her directly and feed her whenever she felt hungry. Being able to ask for meals was so much better for the tree than before, when she had to instead wait in hope that there was someone to give her a little more than the minute amount of energy she took in from the ground.
Whisker could give her any Immortal-grade poison Alex had
gathered, and she would consume it without question. At that point, they began wondering if she could be safe from Divine-grade poisons too, but for the sake of not making any mistakes, she wasn’t fed any. The World Tree wasn’t the only one that was getting fed, of course. The Nine Yang Divine Tree was given plenty of poison to consume as well. Together, the two plants had begun growing at an accelerated rate once again.
Whisker helped the plants as much as he could, but he too needed some time to grow on his own. Now that he could cultivate, he no longer needed to wait ages for his body and soul to be an appropriate place in order to break through. He could push himself there.
Whisker began cultivating slowly at first before accelerating as he pushed himself toward the Immortal Transcendent realm. Before he could reach it, however, he needed to apply the Provenance Duality: Evolution technique on his Origin.
The technique added an extra layer of energy to his existing two Origins, which would be used as the basis of the Evolution. Because the Origins needed to carry this energy until they fully matured, Whisker had to keep them separate at all times.
Should they merge back together at any point starting from this moment, they would lose the ‘evolution’ attribute, and he would have to start all over.
Having to use this technique when his Origins were nearly developed was already causing him an extra degree of mental pain, and needing to keep them fully separate on top of that made things that much harder for Whisker, whose spiritual energy wasn’t that strong in the first place.
Still, he persevered, knowing that this wouldn’t last for too long. Very soon, the two Origins would be solid enough, allowing him to finally be ready to break through to the next realm.
Just like Scarlet, he too was making use of the time chambers to speed up his cultivation, but unlike her, he had to leave frequently to
help with the plants or spend some time with Shumi.
Still, he was satisfied with the rate of his progress.
There was another thing that had been plaguing him now. The final obstacle that lay before him on his path to becoming a Divinity.
His second Creation.
Whisker had yet to make a decision on that. While his first Creation was set to be the beast core of the Nine-Tailed Fox, which would give him the equivalent of the Nine-Tailed Fox’s physique, it wouldn’t give him any offensive abilities as far as he understood.
Alex, Pearl, and Scarlet had all gained Creations to help with that, so only he remained.
But Whisker didn’t like fighting. He understood the importance of having to fight, but there was rarely any need for him to do that. He was himself so very weak to begin with, having no battle power, so it made no sense for him to be a fighter now.
He wanted to help everyone in other ways, so he started thinking of requirements for his next Creation.

It had to be something that could help others instead of hurting them. Maybe a defensive Creation? But he couldn’t see what possibility he had for that. Aside from that, it couldn’t be a Creation that only he could use.
Whisker hardly needed protection in the first place. He could already come back to life upon dying even before he gained the Undying Physique. And now that he had, his chances of dying were even less.
He then considered whether he wanted his Creation to be independent or dependent. An Independent Creation would mean that he would need no vessel to place that Creation in, while a Dependent Creation would.
Each had their own advantages and disadvantages when it came to the rate at which they used spiritual energy.
An Independent Creation cost way more than a Dependent Creation, but it could also be used anywhere even if one didn’t have a vessel. Depending on what he wanted to make, it could be either of the two.
Whisker had already decided not to absorb something that would only provide some utility. He truly wanted something that could protect others.
So, he began considering all his options. Something defensive. Something that could help others.
Slowly, he whittled down his possibilities until only a few remained. Of them, Whisker evaluated each of their pros and cons.
He got rid of the idea of a great shield Creation quickly, realizing he didn’t want that. He then got rid of the idea of some sort of strong barrier technique. They would, after all, only be as strong as himself or maybe a little stronger. It just didn’t make sense to have those. As he got rid of more and more ideas, he narrowed it down to a single one. It was also the most absurd idea out there.
“There’s no way it’s possible, right?” Whisker thought. It was not that
he believed such a Creation to be impossible, but rather that he felt himself to be incapable of forming a Creation so complex. Unsure if he should give up, Whisker asked Alex what he should do.
“Do it!” Alex said in support. “Even if you fail, you have the Evolution
to fall back on. I have no doubt you can do it.” Whisker felt confident hearing that, so he began working on his second Creation.
