"I agree. She was perfectly good experimental material too, but they had to ruin her like this... Killing her is impossible without the right power. Defend for now and reallocate."

"Understood!"

As Héluna quickly started to defend against the Decaying Goddess and moved the entire formation out of the way, Oda Nobunaga smiled viciously.

"It works! It seems she is indeed hopeless! She’s just running away?! How pathetic! Hahahahaha!"

He laughed, enjoying the moment while drinking some sake and eating sashimi, filling his mouth with all the flavors to savor this moment better.

"Hm?"

However, there was one section of the castle he had not checked thoroughly. There seemed to be a huge mass of tentacles and pulsating flesh there. Some sort of big monster with a giant eyeball had entered the castle, perhaps one of the many beasts, maybe a Voidling attracted to the Singularity Vortex...

Whatever that thing was, Oda Nobunaga didn’t give it much attention. It was big, but it was just a lump of flesh with some magic powers and nothing else. He quickly sent his army of Yokai Soldiers to deal with the thing.

"Hmph, I have to concentrate on more important matters, like killing all these bastards!"

As he concentrated, Oda’s soldiers rapidly moved through the many portals he created, arriving at the giant monstrous flesh creature, which seemed inert.

The Yokai Soldiers quickly pointed their rifles at it, firing hundreds of rounds at the creature... However, bullets bounced off their flesh as if that thing was made of Orichalcum.

BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!

The soldiers glanced in disbelief. The magicians quickly prepared powerful incantations, unleashing cursed magic at it...

And yet...

ZAAAP!

CRACKLE!

Black lightning surged. A weird, invisible barrier around that thing protected it from magic as well, nullifying it almost completely and making it backfire, exploding in the faces of the sorcerers.

"..."

Until the monster finally woke up, its eyes opened wide, glowing with bright red light. The entire transportation to another world had made the creature fall unconscious for a couple of minutes, but all the attacks it was receiving finally awakened it.

"Where am I?! What is this place...? I was in the Vortex...! This is not...! Ugh... No matter, I can sense them, they’re what I need for my ascension. I won’t stop until I have them! And then this world, all worlds will be mine!"

RUMBLE!

The creature roared, shaking its giant tentacles and crushing dozens of Yokai Soldiers at once. The rest tried to attack from afar. Magic, weapons, everything they could was launched at the thing, while more soldiers arrived from portals everywhere.

Its tentacles quickly turned into jaws, beginning to devour the Yokai Soldiers the monster killed, consuming their flesh and blood and absorbing their genetic code.

"Hmm, I see. You’re good enough."

Suddenly, as it was blocking all kinds of blows, the massive tentacled monster stood up and then opened a strange hole in its body, releasing a red-colored gas, which contained tiny pollen-like particles, which were actually eggs.

"Aaaggh!"

"W-What is this?!"

"M-My eyes!"

"Ugh! Step away from the red gas! It’s dangerous!"

The soldiers stepped back quickly and then started attacking the thing from afar, targeting a single point and trying to break whatever barrier it had.

But it was futile.

"Wake up, my children."

The monster spoke into their minds... no, rather into the minds of its children. The countless eggs that everyone there ended up breathing quickly hatched, as monstrous tentacles tore apart the bodies of the Yokai, their flesh turning red as they vomited blood and innards.

"Aaarrggh!"𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"Groooaaaggh!"

"Uuoogghh!"

The Yokai Soldiers quickly mutated into even more monstrous forms, covered by tentacles and muscle fibers wrapping around their bodies. Some lost their skin completely, walking and showing their muscles and bones beneath, while others mutated into larger, more refined forms.

"W-What’s happening?!"

"They’re sprouting tentacles?!"

"We have to tell Nobunaga-sama!"

"Hurry, someone has to— AAAGGH!"

However, the beasts chased after the survivors, tearing them to shreds and eating their flesh and drinking their blood viciously, as former friends preyed on one another mercilessly.

Those that were bitten all over and survived the process had tentacles sprouted out of them, their eyes turning completely white as they stood up, becoming mindless parasitized zombies serving the tentacle creature.

"Good... Very good... Propagate. Tell me how to move through this dimension. Tell me where your leader is... And what is he planning."

The entity spread its Psychic Aura everywhere, further enhanced by the one within its core. Its powers surged everywhere, rapidly creating a connection with a certain someone.

And that certain someone looked back. The connection interrupted his teleportation as he felt sickly for a second, falling onto the floor and destroying several rooms in the process.

"What the hell was that?! That weird connection... it felt so disgusting! How is there something like that connected to my soul?!"

"Drake, we have to hurry! We can find that out later!"

"I know, let’s keep going... but still, that was strange...!"

Drake quickly continued his spatial traveling, as he discovered that space within this dimension was so strange it took him several casts of Teleportation to actually move through this nearly endless castle.

As this happened, the entity seemed joyful. Its giant crimson eye glowed with joy as the creature’s countless jaws smiled and drooled.

"We are so close now, Dragon of Frost... the prophecy foretold you would become our world’s savior... the girl connected to your soul is now within my possession, a part of me, we are one. And soon enough, you too shall be mine."

Within the fleshy, pulsating interior of the monstrosity, there was a human woman with long brown hair. Her eyes were closed, and her body’s skin was merged with fleshy tentacles, connected to her brain, heart, and stomach.

Her hand, almost merged with the flesh and tentacles, showed a small, blue-colored tattoo resembling a small dragon...
