Chapter 821: Heavenly Venerate
Chapter 821: Heavenly Venerate
—
200 more years passed by quickly…
Cedric was getting used to this…time passing by quickly. Years felt like mere hours or days for him at this point.
He continued doing what he does best—minding his own business. He’s focusing on the growth and development of his territory while comprehending law essences.
500 years have passed since he became the Sector Lord of the Rising Sun Domain. The years have been quite kind to him. His territory didn’t face any conflicts, no complications, and no accidents, either. Everything went on smoothly.
By now, the Rising Sun Domain has completely transformed. Gone was the raw and desolate sector domain. In its place, a lush, vibrant, and gorgeous human civilization had risen. And all of this was thanks to Cedric’s guidance, vision, and uncompromising efforts for development.
The Rising Sun Domain has finally entered the phase where it could officially be recognized as one of the active sector domains of the Heavenly Star Chaos Realm.
It’s no longer an underdeveloped and barren wasteland. It has a proper lord, a bustling civilization, and could be opened for trade and commerce.
The Rising Sun Domain has reached the point where it doesn’t lose out much compared to other sector domains that have been around for a long while. Sure, it’s still lacking in some departments, but as it is, it’s good enough.
Any further development for it will need more time. Cedric has done everything he could do to bring it up to the same level as others. As for the things it lacks, it will now have to depend on its people to make up for those, which means that it’s no longer in his hands. Only time will tell if they get there or not.
The Rising Sun Domain still accepts citizens. After all, there is still a lot of space available for habitation. Nomadic tribes are still welcome to visit and decide if they want to settle down. The difference is that now, Cedric could afford to be picky.
He’s got enough citizens to build a council that will help him monitor and manage his territory. He no longer has to do it alone, which certainly freed up his schedule some more.
Of course, he made sure that his council was loyal to him. There’s no way he’d compromise to anything less, especially since his family was here. If he had to put an obedience collar on his own council, he’d do so.
Fortunately, there was no need for him to do that. Sure, not everyone was a completely ’pure’ or ’good’ person; they have their own little schemes and expectations, but that’s normal. In the end, they’re just looking out for themselves. Cedric gave them certain privileges, both verbally and unspoken ones; so long as they don’t touch his bottom line, they’re good.
As for potential conflicts within, well, no organization could really escape those. It’s the trend of the Primitive Universe anyway, so it’s to be expected.
But so long as it doesn’t get too excessive, all’s good. A little competition was normal.
With his Sector Council formed, most of the responsibilities to run the whole sector domain have been divided among them. Now, Cedric’s clone was no longer as busy as before. And with his experience, he could easily deal with the rest.
Any further growth of the domain now relies upon them. Cedric could just sit back and observe. He could always interfere once he sees the direction veering off his desired path. That’s his duty now.
With all of this established, the Rising Sun Domain is now open publicly. Well, as public as it could get.
It has now established diplomatic relationships with its neighbors, including trade routes and commerce.
Of course, being a Scarlet VIP of the Golden Bangle Bank, there was no way Cedric would forget about them. Cedric generously gave them a couple of planets to use for their business. These planets are scattered across the entire sector domain for ease of access.
The Makers Guild, having heard many good things about him, also decided to build a guild branch here, one on each of the cosmic realms available in the domain.
Merchants have paid visits, business opportunities bloomed, traffic was established, and soon, the news about the Rising Sun Domain had spread through the masses.
But again, despite the increase in activity, Cedric’s schedule remained mostly empty. He just needs to come to his office once a month to deal with accumulated paperwork that has already gone through several filters. His clone finished this paperwork in a single day, and he’d be free once more.
This was his life now as a Sector Lord.
And all it took was 500 years of quiet and stable development.
Mind you, if others were to know this, they’d be extremely surprised. 500 years might seem like a long time, but for the development of a whole sector domain? That’s incredibly fast.
It takes thousands, if not tens of thousands of years, to reach this level of development for others. And it certainly shouldn’t be this easy. Each point of development is often times fought for extremely hard.
Many Sector Lords have gone bankrupt, corrupt, broke, and bald, just for the sake of developing their territories. Some even ended up dying for some scraps.
But not Cedric.
He was very fortunate. He’s got experience, resources, and intelligence to pull this off without a hitch. He had taken everything into account even before he started, and he was very smart about this.
Furthermore, his citizens love him. They worshipped him like a god. The majority of his citizens haven’t even heard about the Human Sovereigns, but they certainly know him.
With all of this, even with Cedric mostly staying in the background for the final touches, the Rising Sun Domain will be just fine.

While his clone handled his usual responsibilities as a sector lord, Cedric’s main body continued to be immersed in his practice and seclusion.
He reached the peak of the Universe Master Realm about a hundred years ago, thanks to the natural progression of his life evolution.
And now, a hundred more years later, he’s ready to make another breakthrough. This time, it’s to reach the Heavenly Venerate Realm.
Boom!!
Explosions went off within his inner world. It expanded, transformed, curdled, boiled, etc. All manner of fantastical and mysterious phenomena occurred within him.
But on the outside, there’s none of the sort. He’s there, in his private and sealed-up seclusion chamber, sitting down calmly and loosely at the center, quiet and serene as if nothing was happening.
After the expansion and transformation of his inner world, his consciousness involuntarily sank into it.
He could feel a seed of his will parting from him and taking root at the source of his inner world. It will gestate there until it gives birth to his Heavenly Phantom—the same one that will be shackled by the Supreme Will until he’s ready to reach the Primal Origin Lifeform Realm.
Of course, Cedric was far from that. It will take some time before his heavenly phantom is born.
In the meantime, though, he felt jubilant.
His breakthrough succeeded. And because it was a natural progression, his foundations were unaffected. He barely needed time to consolidate his new realm.
Now, the distance between him and the absolute peak of this world had been minimized even further.
With his new level of strength, Cedric could now do things that he previously couldn’t do. He feels more comfortable wielding law essences at this stage because previously, his body was holding him back.
But aside from cheering inwardly, Cedric didn’t plan on publicizing his breakthrough.
Nobody has to know. Let them guess how strong he actually was; he doesn’t have to prove himself to anyone, not even to the Human Sovereigns.
He also doesn’t want to be under the spotlight right now, so he truly doesn’t have any plans on publicizing this news.
However, he did take a break from seclusion. He returned to his wives and took them out to roam the sector domain. This was his way of making up for their loneliness and grounding himself after reaching a new height in his life’s evolution.
Sated with the love and attention of his wives and feeling grounded once more, he returned to his usual activities afterwards.
But before he could completely go back to his usual routine, something happened one random day that brought a surprising change to his routine.
The mark left by the Unstable Heavenly Domain on the back of his right hand suddenly pulsed with heat and stung.
It didn’t hurt so much, but it was noticeable. Cedric raised a brow and wondered what exactly was going on.
And as he focused, he felt it.
A calling from beyond.
Something within the Unstable Heavenly Domain was calling for him, practically screaming for his attention. It was strange. He felt it very strongly, and it was incredibly suspicious.
This thing had been silent since he got it. And he had already explored most of it through his clone, so what’s up with this now?
Well, there’s only one way to find out…
