Chapter 453: Lets Go To The God Domain

The Hollow King followed the clone’s gaze and recognized Sylvia. Caelus floated nearby with light gathering around him, making this the worst place their fight could have reached.

The Heavenly Lord tore through Edran’s furnace with both claws and sent its fire bursting outward. Then he rushed through the opening toward Sylvia as Edran’s barrier cracked beneath the pressure.

The Hollow King crossed the gap and caught him by the throat. His flames spread across the creature’s chest as he drove it away from the artifact.

"You are going to die here, Heavenly Lord. I won’t let you take her."

"Now that you know the truth, you want to change sides? You’ve already done enough damage to the world that you might as well let me absorb you!"

The creature wrapped both arms around his wrist and pressed its red and blue power together.

[Skill Activated: Yin-Yang Explosion.]

BOOOOM!

The Hollow King lost his grip as the blast forced them apart. He immediately raised a wall between the explosion and the three mages, but the Heavenly Lord thrust a spear through the wall toward Caelus.

The woman with the staff threw her remaining rings around its shaft. They broke one after another while slowing it just enough for the Hollow King to catch it.

He snapped the spear and drove its broken point through the creature’s shoulder. Then he dragged the clone closer and struck its chest with a fist wrapped in Hollow Flames.

The impact bent its body around his hand, but a far greater eruption suddenly drowned out the sound.

BOOOOM!

Light burst from Caelus and spread across the dragon’s remains. The Heavenly Lord stopped struggling as a new presence began rising within it.

"He is becoming a Primordial?!"

The clone tore away from the broken spear and tried to rush toward him. The Hollow King caught one of its legs and hurled it into a wall of space as he stared at the burst of light.

Caelus Kross had exceeded his expectations again. He couldn’t let the transformation be disrupted now that it had begun.

"Keep away from that light!" He warned the mages as he opened a passage beside Caelus.

The other end reached into the chaos far beyond the universe. A Primordial could find his way back from there, but Caelus needed to finish becoming one first.

"You really were the one."

The Hollow King’s voice caught as he held the passage open with one hand and blocked the clone with the other.

"You owe me one, Caelus Kross."

Caelus heard him as the dragon’s inner space faded. He saw Sylvia beside Edran and felt the Multiverse itself resonating with him.

However, the creature fighting to reach them was the Heavenly Lord. He had heard the Hollow King call its name and couldn’t leave Sylvia without a way to escape.

"Sylvia, I’m becoming a Primordial and there’s no time to explain. You need to get somewhere safe."

He pushed his power through Token Creation and drew Multiverse Traversal out of himself.

[Token Created: Multiverse Traversal Authority.]

He used Prime Mind Manipulate and put it in her hand while another blast shook Edran’s barrier.

"Take this and get away from here."

"What about you?"

"I’ll be fine, so please go."

Sylvia accepted the token and moved out of the portal’s pull. She kept watching him while holding the authority ready, but made no attempt to drag him back.

The Hollow King’s voice reached his mind through the noise of the battle.

"I’m sending you outside this universe. Find me once you become a Primordial."

"Why should I trust you with Sylvia?"

"There’s no time to explain, so consider this an apology. I’ll deal with the Heavenly Lord and keep your girl safe."

Caelus saw the clone throw a blade of red light toward Sylvia. The Hollow King crushed it in his hand and pushed the creature farther away from her.

For now that would have to be enough.

"He’s sending me away so I can finish this, and he promised to protect you."

The portal pulled Caelus beyond the universe as wild power rushed toward him from every direction. Then the stars disappeared and he was alone within the chaos.

The Hollow King sealed the passage behind him as the Heavenly Lord slammed into it. The clone clawed at the empty space and tried to tear the opening back apart.

"You let him escape!"

The Hollow King caught its arm and pulled it away while creating a wall behind its back. Another rose in front of it as he forced the creature between them.

[Authority Activated: Creation.]

The walls closed against its shoulders and left its arms trapped outside. Red and blue power gathered within its mouths, but the Hollow King filled the gap with fire.

[Mystic Code Activated: Hollow Flames.]

The clone kicked against the lower edge and forced a crack wide enough for a blue beam to escape. It swept toward the mages until the woman hooked a silver ring over its path.

Edran joined her as the ring began breaking and together they bent the beam back into the enclosure. It struck the Heavenly Lord’s exposed throat and drove its head against the opposite wall.

The Hollow King forced his flames into its open mouth while the two mages pulled away.

The clone’s next blast exploded inside the narrowing space and shattered its own chest plates. It tried to pull its head free as black fire poured through the wounds.

"There isn’t much time left, Hollow King! It’s already too late!"

Its laughter continued as he brought both hands together. The walls slammed shut with a deafening BANG and the flames vaporized the broken body between them.

The Hollow King burned away the last trace of its power and released the walls. Nearby, Edran helped the injured mage onto the star-shaped artifact while the woman lowered her cracked staff.

The Hollow King then turned toward Sylvia as the remaining flames faded.

"Let’s get you somewhere safe and rescue the other Enders from the God Domain. We need to move quickly."
