Chapter 1569 1569: You Are Weak (Part 2)

"What are you doing?"

The Silver Weaver's cold voice rang out. There was no hint of pity in his eyes, despite the pain Lone Blaze was now experiencing.

"W-What?" Lone Blaze croaked, blood flowing from the corners of her mouth with each word.

The Silver Weaver narrowed his eyes.

"You can't handle a few energy flows? Weren't you once a proud artifact?"

She wanted to respond, but instead, another wave of pain ran through her body, causing her to spit out a mouthful of blood.

"GHA!"

"GHA!"

"GHA!"

Only after a few seconds did Lone Blaze come to her senses. She had a few moments of calm before the next energy flows reached her.

"Did you come here to help, or what?" Lone Blaze grimaced. "I don't fucking know what this energy is? I'm in fucking pain!"

However, there was no response from the Silver Weaver. He just looked down at her, his eyes filled with arrogance.

Lone Blaze was about to say something, but a new wave of pain prevented her from doing so.

Her whole body contorted in agony as she collapsed to the ground. The golden energy tore her apart from within, and all she could do was suffer.

However, this was not a test of strength. It was a deadly poison that was quickly bringing Lone Blaze to her end.

"Rgh..." She gritted her teeth and writhed before the Silver Weaver. It didn't matter to her who was standing in front of her or how she looked.

All she wanted was for the pain to go away. She had to find a way to save herself, but the situation was getting worse and worse too quickly.

"I can't..."

Lone Blaze whispered in a hoarse voice. A veil began to cover her eyes, while darkness loomed from the corners.

The only thing Lone Blaze could hear was the Silver Weaver's voice, and it was not encouraging.

"You're weak."

Tremble.

The long needle appeared in the Silver Weaver's grip as he raised his hand high, like an executioner ready to behead a criminal.

Slash!

A splash of blood followed the wide slash, as something fell to the ground.

Twitch. Twitch. Twitch.

Lone Blaze's almost closed eyes twitched as she stared in horror at the arm lying in front of her. It had been cut off at the shoulder, in a single, clean cut.

She raised her head to the Silver Weaver.

"W-What?"

She didn't understand why he had done it. Blood continued to flow from his wound, but there was no hint of pain on his face.

"If you die, Adam will lose as well. When he falls, this whole world will disappear."

He looked at his arm.

"Come on. You need strength, don't you?"

Horror covered Lone Blaze's face when she realized what the Silver Weaver was talking about.

"Cast aside your nobility and the wisdom of an artifact. You are Adam's ally, part of his strength, which means you must do everything for victory and strength, just like him."

The Silver Weaver kicked his arm as it rolled closer to Lone Blaze, stopping right in front of her mouth.

"Sink your fangs into the flesh and tear this arm apart like a wild beast. Absorb my energy. It's your only way to survive now."

Even though the Silver Weaver was right, it was too radical for Lone Blaze. She was ready to argue and deny, but...

A new wave of pain forced her to throw away all her pride.

Now, she had only one goal — to survive.

THRUST.

Her fangs sank into the Silver Weaver's arm, tearing off one piece of flesh after another. Never in her life would Lone Blaze have stooped to such a thing, but... did she have a choice?

The Silver Weaver, who watched this beautiful and terrifying scene, couldn't help but smirk.

He would face serious consequences for what he had done here, but he knew it was the only right decision.

'You know, I'm even a little jealous that this energy chose you,' the Silver Weaver thought. 'But my powers would not have been suitable in this case. Adam must win, and only she has enough firepower to reduce Vaarh to nothing.'

Sure, several minutes had passed, and Adam should have been dead long ago, but only if that time had passed in the real world and not in the inner space.

In the real world, Adam had almost ten seconds left.

Soon, the Silver Weaver lowered his gaze as he stared at Lone Blaze.

Her mouth was covered in blood, she was still kneeling, but she was no longer in pain.

The golden flows wandered around her, not like poison, but like a new power over which she now had complete control.

The energy completely hid her figure under a light veil for a moment, as she returned with a new appearance.

She now wore long white clothes with black edges, retaining the power of the threads and the Silver Weaver, but her hair was now long, reaching her waist, full of bright golden flame.

Her eyes resembled ancient amber, which, despite this, was not wise or calm, but full of the desire to fight and win.

"Well, well..." The Silver Weaver grinned, throwing his needle over his shoulder. "I like this look much better."

Lone Blaze wanted to say something in response, but for some reason, her face contorted with pain again.

For the last time.

She clutched her throat in an attempt to quell the bitterness as her eyes grew brighter and brighter.

"AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!"

With her roar, a wave of amber light burst from her chamber, rushing through the entire Evolution Tree and inner space.

The light, like an explosion of the sun, destroyed all the monster energy, cleansing the Evolution Tree and filling it with a new wave of golden energy.

The flash blinded the inner space as the pillar of light burst outward, eager to reach the outside world.

...

At that moment, Adam, who was on the verge of death, was once again able to see the world in all its colors, feeling one of the strongest emotions available to a mortal.
