Chapter 1580 - 1622: Investigating in Secret

"That’s not necessary." Mabel Quinn laughed, "She has nothing to do with me, why should I investigate her? Maybe I saw Miss Landon while shopping before, or she might have been in the entertainment industry, so she looks familiar to me."

Kyle Kinston’s eyes flickered, and he did not continue to argue with Mabel Quinn over this issue. Instead, he discussed the housing situation in City F. He had already checked out several properties: some larger with exquisite decoration, but farther from the May residence; and some smaller, with ordinary decoration, but quite close to the May residence.

Mabel thought for a moment and said, "It’s better to be closer to the May Family. As for the furniture and such, we can just change it later." Since her daughter’s destiny was tied to Jeremiah May, proximity might still have some merit... uh, there must be some logic to it after all.

"Alright, whenever you have time, you can come along and see them. If you’re satisfied too, we’ll buy it," Kyle said.

"But now living in City F, won’t work be more troublesome for you?" Mabel expressed some concern. Previously, during their time in City J, he often had to travel back and forth between Falling City and City J due to work.

But in City J, at least there were some Kinston Family industries, whereas in City F, there were none. It meant he would often have to travel among three cities.

However, Kyle simply chuckled and said, "What’s so troublesome? It’s just spending a little more time on the road. Besides, some matters don’t necessarily require me to do everything personally; I can delegate to those under my command. As long as I can manage the big picture, it’s fine. Just like Dad, even if he’s in the hospital, he can still keep Quinn Group running smoothly."

Kyle spoke casually, but Mabel knew that Dad at least had the help of Uncle. Moreover, the Quinn Family’s enterprises were quite different from the Kinston Family’s.

"Alright, for me, the most important thing is you and the child; everything else is not important." Kyle gently stroked her head, "Actually, money doesn’t hold much significance for me now. Even if I work hard, it’s just so that our family can have a better life. In the future, I can leave a strong Kinston Family for the children, so they and their descendants can live without worry."

"I know." Mabel murmured, knowing that all his efforts were for their family.

And she would do her best for this family too!

When the car returned to the May residence, Mabel went to find her daughter first, while Kyle took out his phone and dialed a number, "Caleb, help me investigate the current young lady of the Landon Family in City F. Her name is Isabella Yowell. I want to know about this person."

Mabel may not care, but he couldn’t ignore it. Even if the investigation results show Mabel was just overly sensitive and the person had no issues. But... even if there’s a one in ten thousand chance, he can’t overlook it.

Having gone through the ordeal with Francine Howards, he told himself that from now on, he wouldn’t easily let go of anything that might harm her.
