Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1366 - 1405: A Good Father
"Okay." Mabel Quinn smiled and then beckoned to her daughter.
The little one finally ran back to stand before the three adults. Mabel took out a handkerchief to wipe her daughter’s sweat, while Kyle Kinston noticed that her hair was a bit of a mess and naturally said to her, "Sweetie, don’t move." He then took off the hair tie and re-did her hair into a simple ponytail.
He was much more skilled now compared to the first time he tied her hair, quick actions, and the result was good too. The little one didn’t complain that it was too tight or too loose. Clearly, Kyle had tied her hair many times before, so the little one acted very normal.
Instead, Edward Quinn watched the scene and was briefly stunned, clearly surprised by the fact that Kyle would actually do Katherine’s hair.
On the way to the restaurant, Edward quietly asked Mabel, "Does he often do Ivy’s hair?"
"Whenever he sees Ivy’s hair messed up, he will fix it." Mabel replied, then smiled slightly and said, "But he didn’t do it well at first. Later, he had his secretary find some materials, practiced quite a few times until Ivy stopped complaining."
Hearing this, Edward seemed thoughtful.
Mabel continued, "Dad, actually, he’s quite good to... Ivy now. I think he will be a good father."
"If he can really be good to you and Ivy, then I won’t oppose you," Edward sighed, "Back when it was your situation, Dad couldn’t do anything to make amends now, just hoping Ivy can have a happy life, and you will truly have someone to rely on in the future." After all, he’s getting old, even if he really wants to protect his daughter for life, time is the most ruthless. If he could accompany his daughter for another twenty or thirty years, he would be lucky.
It’s just unsure if Kyle Kinston can become the lifelong pillar for his daughter, especially since Kyle once had a troubled past, which made Edward uneasy.
But, from another perspective, perhaps precisely because of past loss, one would cherish more, just like him, if he could find Clover again... then he would treat Clover well for the rest of his life.
The Quinn Family dinner was naturally lavish, with dishes that Mabel and Katherine loved. There was no rule of not talking during meals at the table. Of course, in the past, there was. In the past, during Quinn Family banquets, if Edward didn’t speak during meals, no one dared to speak.
But now, this rule was naturally abolished. Little Ivy loved to tell everyone about the things happening in kindergarten during dinner.
For example, today the teacher praised her, or today she kindly helped a classmate, or how she misses Atlas so much, and during the weekend she wants to go see him, and so on...
Regarding the little one’s feelings for Atlas Shaw, Kyle Kinston was helpless even if he felt jealous because the person who truly accompanied the little one since birth was Atlas Shaw.
Many feelings are accumulated over time.
However... he still has time. In the future, he can spend more time accompanying his daughter’s growth to make up for the mistakes he once made.
