The descending elevator platform came to a silent, hydraulic stop three hundred feet beneath the seabed floor.

When the interlocking steel gates slid open, there was no sound of machinery, no hum of computer fans, and no draft of salt air.

The air in the primary preservation gallery was thick, dry, and chilled to a constant minus forty degrees Celsius, heavy with the dense, suffocating aroma of preserved organic fluids, cryogenic nitrogen vapor, and ancient sea-drake blood.

Renan stepped off the lift platform onto a massive, circular catwalk forged from reinforced industrial grating.

Beneath the grating, stretching across a subterranean hangar the size of a professional football stadium, seven colossal glass-and-steel cryogenic vats rose forty feet into the arched concrete ceiling.

Inside each towering cylinder, suspended in a dense, glowing solution of blue preservation fluid, rested the complete skeletal remains of an Abyssal Sea-Drake.

They were magnificent, terrifying blueprints of apex marine predation.

Measuring over one hundred feet in length from snout to tail tip, their skeletal frames were forged from natural titanium-calcium bone structure, interwoven with thick cords of dark purple muscle fiber and massive spinal cores that still pulsed with faint, rhythmic waves of Tier-SS water-and-lightning mana.

Along their massive skulls, curved horns sharper than steel broadswords pointed forward like lances, and their cavernous ribcages enclosed dormant energy sacs as large as a naval boiler.

Shadow Knight Arthur stepped out of the elevator, his silver-black pauldrons humming with quiet argent light as he stared up at the nearest floating titan through the thick quartz glass.

"They did not merely harvest these beasts," Arthur murmured, his voice laced with professional, soldierly respect. "They preserved them as war trophies. The Japanese Consortium kept these carcasses intact to study how to graft sea-drake scales onto human infantry."

Sylas glided along the outer edge of the catwalk, his optical visor projecting fast-scrolling data diagnostics across the exterior panels of the cryogenic vats.

"The data archives connected to these vats confirm the origins, Sovereign," Sylas reported, his voice quiet as falling ash. "All seven sea-drakes were harvested from the deepest trenches of the Western Pacific during the great rift expansion five years ago. Their core mana density is exceptionally high. Each individual skeleton contains enough preserved organic energy to sustain a regional army."

Renan walked slowly along the circular metal grating, his hands resting inside his dark woolen coat pockets, his leather boots making soft, echoing steps against the floor.

He stopped before the central cryogenic vat, where the largest of the seven sea-drakes hung suspended in the blue liquid.

Its massive skull, featuring a double crest of bone armor and empty eye sockets the size of chariot wheels, faced directly toward the observation platform.

Through the transparent quartz glass, Renan could see the glowing violet core sac nestled safely within the creature’s cervical vertebrae, untouched by decay, waiting for a spark of life to reawaken its dormant potential.

"The consortium wanted to build better weapons for human hunters," Renan spoke softly, his voice calm, level, and carrying a quiet resonance that vibrated through the steel framework of the gallery. "They believed that by harvesting the teeth of the deep, they could sit atop the food chain forever."

Renan raised his bare right hand, resting his palm flat against the cold quartz surface of the central vat.

Within his chest, his twin-chambered core beat in a heavy, deliberate rhythm, sending a subtle, low-frequency pulse of silver-violet mana through the glass barrier and into the preserving fluid inside.

The dormant core sac suspended within the sea-drake’s spine flickered once, responding to the monarch’s resonance with a sudden, sharp surge of violet light that caused the blue fluid to bubble with fine micro-currents.

To the automated monitoring systems of the Chiba silo, the temperature inside the cryogenic vat did not drop, and no alarm light flashed on the central console.

The facility simply registered an authorized, administrative handshake executed by the system’s new absolute owner.

"They spent five years pumping millions of dollars of synthetic coolant into these glass boxes to keep them dead, Arthur," Renan said, a faint, cold smile touching the corner of his lips.

Arthur adjusted his grip on his claymore, his visor flaring with bright argent light. "And what does the Sovereign intend to do with them?"

Renan withdrew his hand from the quartz glass, turning his gaze toward the lower tiers of the subterranean hangar, where endless rows of smaller storage crates held the preserved carcasses of ten thousand trench beasts, armored krakens, and deep-sea leviathans.

"We are not going to keep them in boxes," Renan answered, his violet eyes narrowing into sharp, unyielding points of light. "We are going to open the Abyssal Soul Forge."

He turned back toward the lift platform, gesturing for Sylas and Arthur to follow.

"Bring the master control deck online," Renan commanded, his voice dropping into a tone of absolute command. "Notify Chief Quartermaster Miller in Sector Zero to open the primary spatial transfer conduits across the Pacific network."

Sylas’s eyes flashed with crimson light as he connected his tactical gauntlet directly to the facility’s central processing unit.

"Transfer conduits are standing by, Sovereign," Sylas reported, his fingers flying across the holographic keys. "All ten thousand abyssal carcasses in the lower bays and the seven sea-drake vats are linked to our spatial anchor."

Renan stood at the center of the circular catwalk, spreading his arms wide as the twin-chambered core in his chest accelerated into a thunderous, heavy beat that shook the dust from the concrete ceiling overhead.

RUMBLE!

The entire subterranean silo beneath Tokyo Bay shuddered as if struck by a submarine earthquake.

The seven massive cryogenic vats cracked simultaneously from top to bottom, not with explosive shattering, but with clean, precise fractures that allowed the blue preservation fluid to drain smoothly into the floor grates.

The seven colossal sea-drake skeletons did not drop onto the concrete.

They floated in mid-air, surrounded by a swirling vortex of pitch-black shadow energy that rose from the floor like an ocean tide.

At the same time, across the lower storage tiers of the silo, ten thousand preserved carcasses of trench beasts and armored krakens dissolved into streams of glowing violet mana, drawn upward into the central hangar in an endless, shining river of organic energy.

Inside the subterranean command bunker of Sector Zero, three thousand miles away across the sea, Boss Victor stood before the giant spatial portal as a roaring torrent of deep-sea mana poured through the dark rift, filling the staging vaults with the overwhelming, magnificent power of the oceanic trenches.

Back in the preservation gallery of the Tokyo Bay facility, Renan closed his hands into a tight, deliberate fist.

The seven sea-drake skeletons absorbed the swirling river of ten thousand carcasses, their dry bones knitting together with thick, newly generated muscle fibers forged from pure abyssal shadow and hardened star-iron.

Two thousand feet above them, on the surface waters of Tokyo Bay, the sensitive seismic monitoring arrays of the Chiba naval station suddenly lit up with a blinding wall of red alarm lights as the biological mass beneath the seabed vanished entirely from their scanners in less than four seconds.
