Chapter 953: Chapter 953:- Adopted Son Wolf

Kaoru was bored to death. Then she saw two familiar figures whom she had met before and also had been looking for.

Kaoru stood up while staring at Aditya.

The Dragon Monarch also stared at her.

At the same time, the bright sky turned dark. Slowly, Crimson Lightning began flickering around him.

"The Dragon Monarch....!!" Kaoru murmured while staring at him.

’Something about him has changed.’ Back when she first met him in disguise, he wasn’t this strong. His cultivation was around Peak 4th Order.

’I have finally found you.’ It was not known what made Wolf this excited. This excitement didn’t come from the fact that he would now be able to complete the Mission his adoptive father had given him. His excitement came from something else.

Hearing this, everyone looked at Wolf, who stood and walked toward Aditya and the ordinary-looking couple.

’Now, how should I handle the situation?’ He now faced an unexpected dilemma. After all, if he killed Aditya here, this means that because of the Soul Binding Contract, the Goddess of War will also die. Till now, they hadn’t found a way to break the contract. This meant that killing Aditya was out of the question.

Wolf risked his life for revenge and love.

Wolf belonged to the same village that his adopted father mercilessly slaughtered in a single rainy night decades ago, just because he was angry. Worst of all, there was no reason or any purpose behind this slaughter. His adopted father simply felt too angry that night and needed to do something to vent his anger. Wolf watched everything with his own eyes.

He watched as His Adopted Father dragged every member of the village to the centre of the village and tore their limbs one by one. Their painful screams were what calmed him down.

He clearly remembered how his own cousin’s head was ripped from his body like it was a piece of paper.

He remembered his mom was dragged to the Village Centre. While his mom cried and begged for the life of others, that mad monster sat on top of her with a fist-sized stone. Then, under the heavy rain, he kept smashing her head until her face was disfigured to the point that later he couldn’t recognise his own mom. Forget about recognising, he felt too afraid to even look at the mom who gave birth to him.

After that, sensing that he was extremely talented, that man took Wolf with him. For years, Wolf played the role of an obedient son. He did whatever he was told, even if it was morally bad or wrong. He did not care. He kept fulfilling his Mission. All to gain his father’s trust.

Kaoru stopped just a step behind Wolf.

"Stay out of this. I want to fight him alone." Wolf said in a low tone. Kaoru felt bitter, but she nodded her head. She could use this chance to learn about the abilities of the Dragon Monarch. So even if Wolf lost, which was very unlikely since Wolf was even more frighteningly stronger than her, at least she could go into the fight prepared.

A few decades ago, Wolf fought Kaoru. At that time, he defeated her without needing to go all out. Who knows how much Wolf’s strength has grown over time? "You might be invincible within the Six Continents, but here our cultivation is no longer suppressed. If you understand what’s best for you and your...." He paused before looking at the Dragonians. "Then come with us."

"You all will pay." He said in a cold tone before disappearing.

Before anyone could react, Aditya appeared in front of his Dragonians. He easily broke the chains tying them and also the Collar around their neck, which suppressed their cultivation and made them feel as weak as mortals.

"Take these healing pills." He silently handed the pills to one of the Elder Dragonians. All the Dragonians here were 5th-order cultivators.

"Now that’s very rude of you." But Wolf wasn’t bothered. He had anticipated something like this to happen.

The Monarch teleported in front of Wolf and grabbed his face with his right palm.

"You talk too much!!!"

He threw Wolf towards his servants like he was throwing a ball. Wolf crushed onto the servants and fell to the ground.

He brought a beautiful-looking katana and teleported again.

Before he could get up, Aditya appeared before Wolf.

Wolf reacted quickly and dodged the incoming punch. He jumped back to give himself a second as he was still not ready. But in mid-air, he suddenly received a long diagonal cut on his chest.
