Chapter 945: Chapter 945:- Rewards For Clearing the Trial

"It has been More than 2 1/2 days since that guy entered the trial." Lahm has been waiting since the first hour for Aditya’s return. But even after waiting for 2 1/2 days, there was no sign of him.

Lahm was even beginning to suspect that he might be one of those unfortunate few challengers who just couldn’t make it and died inside the trial.

"I did warn him." Lahm couldn’t help but sigh.

Although they claimed that no one died during their trial, it was not entirely the truth. Every year, A few unfortunate challengers who were either too weak or the opponent they faced in the trial was just too strong, and they lost their lives as a result.

"Should I leave?" Lahm was waiting at the entrance since the first hour. He thought that Aditya would come out within the first hour or two. The elders even had a bet on whether the weak guy could last inside the trial for more than an hour.

Because of this reason, Lahm had no choice but to wait here and count the hours Aditya was inside the Trial.

And unexpectedly, more than 35 hours passed.

"I will be another 4 to 5 hours max. Then I am going back." As the son of the Dwarf Tribe’s leader, Lahm had some self-respect. He had listened to the elders long enough.

Fortunately for Lahm, he didn’t need to wait any longer.

The door opened, and the Dragon King slowly walked out.

Aditya came out of the Trial with an exhausted look, but there was a clear smile on his face.

His clothes were torn in many places. His outfit was soaked in his blood, sweat, dust, and more.

"I didn’t expect you to wait for me." From Frank, he learned that Lahm was actually the next in line to succeed his father. The old Dwarf Tribe leader had only one son, and that was Lahm. He was surprised to see the future leader of the Dwarf Tribe wait for him.

"It’s not like I wanted to wait. But the elders had placed a bet to see how long you would last inside the tri....!!" He didn’t finish before he widened his eyes in a mix of shock and surprise.

"Wait! You actually broke through?"

Aditya just smirked before walking past him. "Let’s go!"

Seeing the confident look on the man’s face, Lahm guessed that he must have passed at least the first stage of the trial, which was beyond the elders’ and his expectations.

"Wait! How far did you reach in the trial?" Lahm caught up to him and asked. He could hardly contain his curious nature.

"You will know soon."

Aditya and Lahm soon returned to the building where some of the elders were waiting.

There were a few challengers talking to the elders about wanting to enter the trial.

Not only that, but also, compared to when he came here, there seem to be more members of the Dwarf tribe.

Their entrance caught the attention of everyone.

Everyone was staring at him.

"Is it him?" Asked one of the Elders.

A man with long red hair reaching his chest nodded his head. Despite having short grey hair, his face was youthful, and his body was very muscular. He was around 5 feet or 152 cm tall. He was the leader of the Dwarf Tribe, the man who controlled this whole region.

The man studied Aditya for a few seconds. "Come with me." He said with a serious look.

Leaving Lahm and the elders behind, Aditya followed the man outside. They silently kept walking towards the centre of the City until they reached a Mansion that was surrounded by tall walls.

The guards saluted the tribe leader as The Leader and Aditya walked inside.

"My name is Leo. I am the Leader of the Dwarf Tribe."

"I am.....!!"

"I know already! Ancestor Frank told me about you while you were passed out." Even the members of the tribe couldn’t freely go in or out of the trial. The trial was completely sealed off to the rest of the world. Only the Leader of the tribe could sometimes communicate with the Ancestor that resides and oversees everything inside the Trial, as well as a special artefact that must be used in a special chamber located in an underground cave.

But other than the Elders and his son, no one in their tribe knew that their Leader could communicate with their Ancestor. Heck, the rest of the dwarf tribe’s members and even the outside world had no idea that the one in charge of administering everything inside the trial was the founding father of the Dwarf Tribe.

Inside the Mansion, Aditya found himself alone with the Leo in a room from which they could see the entire City.

"Would you like to have some red wine?" Leo’s voice was friendly. There was no hint of arrogance in his tone. He was treating Aditya like his own equal.

"Uncle, right now, I just want to finish our meeting as soon as possible and return home. My companion is waiting for me." Aditya sat down on the couch. He didn’t know what Laura was doing now.

"Alright! You can call me by my name, you know? As the future Emperor of the Celestial Dragon Empire and the Current Emperor of the Istarin Empire, you have the right."

But Aditya shook his head. "I heard from Frank that our families have been close friends for many generations. So calling you uncle makes sense." As for Frank, the old man saw Aditya more as a friend. It was normal to address each other by their names.

"Uncle,...huh? I don’t hate it. Hahahaa!" Then he laughed out loud.

"So you really cleared the Trial. I was very surprised when Ancestor Frank informed me that a descendant from the Celestial Dragon Empire had become the first person to clear the Trial."

"I was sure that in my lifetime, no one would be able to clear the trial." Usually, the further one reached in the trial, the better rewards they received from the Dwarf Tribe. The rewards include custom-made Armour and weapons from the minerals that one would get from the trial.

The more stages one cleared, the higher quality minerals that person would receive. Only those who get eliminated at the first stage don’t receive anything.

"I challenged the trial because I needed to get my 5-star weapon repaired. And I wanted to challenge myself."

"I have already accomplished my first task. I have learned so much from this trial. It will be an invaluable experience in my cultivation journey."

"Since you cleared the trial, you have the right to get your weapon and armour forged by me." As the Leader, his blacksmithing skills were at the top of his tribe. He was undoubtedly one of the top three blacksmiths of the world and of this era.

"And you are our ally. Even if you had just revealed your identity to us, I still would have personally forged anything for you." His voice was sincere. Compared to that tyrant who had taken over the throne and demanded that everyone do his bidding, Aditya was so much better in every aspect.

He was a great King, one who was better than his father, grandfather or great-grandfather. What he had done with the Istarin Empire was nothing short of legendary.

Leo was sure that under his rule, the Celestial Dragon Empire would once again reach its old glory.

"I had to keep my identity a secret because of something important, which brought me back to the Tunnel World. For now, I have to continue my journey to the Main Continent and help her first before I focus on how I want to approach the matter of the Celestial Dragon Empire’s false King." Leo nodded his head.

He had expected something like this from the fact that he joined the Trial under a fake name and a different face. But alone, Aditya revealed his true face to Leo, which showed how much the Young Emperor trusted Leo.

"I understand."

"If you need any help, don’t hesitate to reach out to us."

"We may live in the corner of this Desert, but our tribe’s influence is everywhere within the Tunnel World."

Aditya nodded his head.

Now that he was a Beginner 5th-order, he was very confident in his ability to protect Laura and complete their quest to find the other half of the Goddess of Wisdom.

"Before you leave, give your damaged sword and Armour. I will personally fix them for you." Aditya took out the Adamantite Doomblade and the Crimson Warlock Set.

"I have to say they are pretty well made. But there is a lot of improvement." He ran his palm across the damaged Black sword.

"Although I can upgrade your Armour and Weapon to 6-star, I don’t think it would be a wise idea. As a 5th-Order Cultivator, no matter how powerful you are, you won’t be able to wield or use any 6-star weapon or Armour." Aditya already knew this.

"I understand."

"But don’t worry, I will make them better than before."

"Is there anything else you want?" Aditya took out the rare minerals that he obtained from Frank. He only brought out some of it. He got a huge quantity of it, but not all of it was necessary. With the amount he had, he could easily equip his women and the generals with a 5-star weapon and a 5-star armour set.

But now, that would need to wait.

"I want another sword like the black sword."

"You want it heavy like your black sword or made light for agility?" Leo asked with a thoughtful look.

"Light for agility?" After using the Raiketsu, Aditya felt using a light sword wouldn’t be such a bad idea, as it noticeably increases his striking speed.

"Maybe I can use both swords in battle." He never used double swords before, but with War Dance being his first class, he felt that it shouldn’t be too hard to master a new form of fighting style. This would make him even more versatile in a battle.

"Alright!"

As for their discussion, regarding his cousin and the Throne of the Celestial Dragon Empire, both of them silently decided this was not the time.

Aditya already made it clear that right now, his 100% focus was on helping Laura. Only then would he focus on removing this Fake King from the Throne. Laura’s matter was very urgent. And Aditya had already wasted almost three days inside the trial.

"I assume you will head to the Main Continent now and pick up your thing on your way back to the Istarin Empire?" Aditya nodded his head.

"That’s the plan for now. But if there are any chances, I will send letters."

"Alright!"

Right now, Aditya had Raiketsu to use. Frank had unlocked the sword’s abilities. With a drop of his blood, he had refined the sword with his Mana, so now the Katana entirely belonged to him.
