It’s even harder to locate them if they’ve gone abroad.

Aiden Shaw knew that her father was Tiana Thorne’s biggest concern now, but he didn’t want her to focus too much on this matter.

"Listen, go to the hospital." Aiden Shaw tried to soften his tone, hoping to put Tiana Thorne at ease.

Tiana Thorne clung tightly to the strength Aiden Shaw gave her and looked up, "What exactly is this person scheming for, using all possible means?"

Going to such great lengths, just to find her disagreeable?

Yet, her family was her Achilles’ heel.

Aiden Shaw didn’t leave with Tiana Thorne. He closed the door for her.

As Tiana Thorne sat in the car, Jesse Rivers was in the front passenger seat, while Aiden Shaw stood at the door watching her.

Tiana Thorne finally came to her senses and asked, "Fourth Brother, you’re not coming with me to the hospital?"

Aiden Shaw’s dark brown eyes were calm, and he just reached out to touch her cold cheek, "You go first, I’ll follow shortly. There’s a situation at the company that I need to handle."

Tiana Thorne looked at Jesse Rivers, who was usually by Aiden Shaw’s side.

"Jesse will stay to accompany you, just as someone to count on. You go to the hospital first. If you feel tired, make sure to rest well. I might need some time." Aiden Shaw reminded her as if it were something important.

He also told Jesse Rivers, "Take good care of Sixteen."

Jesse Rivers replied, "Yes, Fourth Master, I will take good care of the young lady."

After coming full circle with no clues left, Tiana Thorne felt a sense of helplessness, unable to concentrate.

She just felt that Aiden Shaw standing there formed a shadow under the halo, making her feel somewhat chilly, as if he’s going to be gone for a long, long time.

"Fourth Brother, are you really not going with me?" Tiana Thorne asked.

Her repeated questioning softened Aiden Shaw’s heart somewhat.

He approached, reached through the car window and wrapped his hand around Tiana Thorne’s neck, pressed his thin lips against her forehead.

Tiana Thorne didn’t resist, exhausted to the point she no longer had the strength to tease or jest.

Only hearing the deep voice lingering by her ear, "Wait for my return."

Then Jesse Rivers started the car, and Aiden Shaw’s figure grew more and more distant.

In that moment, Tiana Thorne recalled a saying: you never know which would come first, tomorrow or an accident.

She didn’t know why these thoughts came to her at all.

It made her heart uneasy.

Tiana Thorne leaned against the back of the chair, closed her eyes tightly, still uneasy, and sent an emoji to Aiden Shaw.

Aiden Shaw replied, and only then could she put her mind at ease.

Upon arrival at the hospital, dusk had fallen. Jesse Rivers, who was by her side, did not leave her side for a moment.

She raised an eyebrow lightly, asking, "Is Fourth Brother really that busy?"

Jesse Rivers said, "Fourth Master has been quite busy with work lately, he only made time to see the young lady."

"Then why don’t you stay by his side?"

Jesse Rivers paused for a moment, "I have to ensure the young lady’s safety, Fourth Master is worried about ulterior motives from others, having me around is always the safest."

"Alright then."

She didn’t ask further.

Upon reaching the hospital room, she found Linden Hawthorne watching over Seth Thorne.

Tiana Thorne pushed the door open and froze for a moment, not expecting Linden to truly not leave Seth’s side.
