A thin, frail-looking woman slipped out of her room, sneaking around. She checked the surroundings, and when she saw no one was there, she slipped into the kitchen.

She wanted to find the woman, but she also had to save her father’s life.

This widow’s a local. Her husband just died, and her husband’s family couldn’t stand her—they threw her out. She has no children, no relatives, she’s completely alone. And as of yesterday, she’s already left the country."

The trail was completely cut off.

The news drained the color from Tiana’s face. If they lost the lead on this widow, then her father...
