Doomsday Life Simulator System In A Zombie Apocalypse World Update Era

Chapter 466: Deciding To Start The Fourth Simulation

  • Next Chapter

After Zayne and Jade explored the Light Bearer Path, the two of them weren’t in a hurry to increase their Light Bearer rank.

After all, their main power system’s power rank was way greater than their Light Bearer rank.

It was still the First Day of Perpetual Darkness, so no matter how much corruption the Perpetual Darkness would cause on Terra, it was way too weak when faced with Zayne and Jade’s power rank.

To deal with the current darkness, Zayne could even just use the light-attributed World Class Magic: Dawn Of Light to illuminate the entire Main World Terra, expelling all of the Perpetual Darkness’s influence on this world.

Due to this, increasing their Light Bearer rank wasn’t of the utmost priority. The resources that Elas had given them weren’t even enough to make them a Light King, which caused it to no longer be a top priority.

Instead, Zayne suggested, "Jade, how about I use my innate talent again and travel to another parallel world?"

"Who knows? If we’re lucky, I might not only encounter a parallel world similar to the Perpetual Darkness World that possesses the Light Bearer Path, but I’d also encounter your parallel self."

"That way, the two of us can improve our Light Bearer rank to a rank much higher than Light King. It will also have the advantage of our Light Bearer rank increasing in an instant when it’s inherited to the main world."

Zayne added, "If it were a situation where your parallel self doesn’t exist, I can still acquire better Light Bearer path resources there for you and share it when I return to this world."

"After all, if I were to comprehend the Universal Law of Everlasting Light there, it won’t affect the law fragment ownership of the Universal Law of Everlasting Light here. You can still pursue the Light Bearer Path here if I manage to attain Heaven rank there."

Hearing Zayne’s suggestion, Jade nodded in agreement. "I have no issues with that."

"If we were to wait until the Perpetual Darkness reached the Final Day, the resources would likely just be enough to reach the Celestial rank equivalent in the Light Bearer Path. After all, the source of the Perpetual Darkness is only as strong as that."

"But in the parallel world, the source of the Perpetual Darkness might be way stronger, which will allow us to acquire higher-grade resources, even enough for you to attain Heaven rank in the Light Bearer Path."

Compared to her power rank, Jade cared more about Zayne’s. Since he had the option of traveling to a parallel world in search of a better Perpetual Darkness World, Jade was supportive of it.

After receiving Jade’s affirmation, Zayne replied, "Alright, I’ll use my innate talent after making preparations."

The preparations that Zayne mentioned were mostly to sort out the items he had in his system inventory. It was to ensure that he’d be able to take things out way easier by putting some items that were of higher priority.

He also had Jade’s assistance in crafting items and artifacts that he could make use of in the parallel world. After all, it was common knowledge that he’d be an average human with no power when the doomsday life simulation started.

The only thing he’d retain would be his simulation talents, his access to his system inventory, as well as the Multiversal Law of Apocalypse fragments he had.

Unfortunately, the Multiversal Law of Apocalypse fragments he possessed weren’t that useful in individual combat. It was mostly useful if he was dealing with worlds and civilizations by imposing countless apocalypse scenarios on them.

But for targeting individuals, it was quite limited. In comparison, the same law fragment ownership percentage of his Universal Law of Boundary or Universal Law of Order could achieve better offensive means.

Moreover, a normal human body couldn’t use it. After all, the Apocalypse Authority was an Authority that would mostly be possessed by an Aether rank powerhouse.

For a normal human with low Spirit and Physique attributes, using it would be tantamount to seeking death. Even if he could survive using it, it would be momentary, as he’d die several seconds later.

’It sure is inconvenient possessing mostly innate talents, but no usable offensive or life-saving simulation talents.’

’Even if I want XX-rank Second Life, Wish Maker, and the like, I’d have to take them out from my system inventory and acquire them into my body first. If I were unlucky to appear in an unsafe location at the start of the doomsday life simulation, I’d basically be a goner.’

’In this scenario, innate talents are less convenient than my simulation talents. After all, my simulation talents are already with me at the start of the doomsday life simulation.’

Thinking of this, Zayne didn’t regret choosing simulation talents that were mostly auxiliary-types. After all, those that could improve his combat power would likely be obsolete when he became stronger.

But for simulation talents like Hint Prompt (Gold), Absolute Compass (Gold), Unlimited Food Creation (Gold), Unparalleled Talent (Red), and such, they’d still be useful for him even if he were to become a Heaven rank powerhouse.

It was for this reason that he didn’t choose those simulation talents that improved his power or stats. After all, they’d be redundant when he became powerful enough.

’In other words, my build is more suited for relying on my luck in the spawn point of my doomsday life simulation. As long as it’s a place where I’d be able to have a quarter of a minute of safety, I am confident I can improve my power to Aether rank.’

’But if I were to encounter a truly bad spawn point, it’s not like I can’t just retry again. Anyway, I have a lot of simulation chances, so I’m no longer as pressed for resources as before.’

’I can just think of it as starting a new simulation to acquire more simulation talents.’

’After all, no matter how unlucky I am at the start of my doomsday life simulation, I can choose three simulation rewards at D-rank simulation score. That can guarantee that the three simulation talents I’ve drawn will be inherited to the real world.’
