Rather than hoping for the impossible, Jade had set her expectations to be more realistic. Moreover, Zayne had already informed her about his intentions before in the train survival universe, so she had already prepared herself for it.

As the two of them continued studying the Light Bearer Path, Jade and Zayne had already completed the entry point of the Light Bearer Path, which was to discover one’s light and awaken the Inner Light.

Although Zayne could use his XX-rank Wish Maker innate talent and even the Wish Sovereignty and Boundary Supremacy to increase his Light Bearer rank multiple times, he refrained from doing so.

To experience walking the Light Bearer Path to the fullest, Zayne had decided to acquire resources from either Main World Terra or his doomsday life simulation. By doing so, he’ll advance his power rank naturally.

He had even sealed his power rank from other power systems he had. It was for the sake of roleplaying as a Light Bearer and better immerse himself in that power system.

At most, he would use his power rank from other power systems to fight those who were way stronger than him and ensure his and Jade’s safety. But for dealing with the Dark Monsters and troubles in the Perpetual Darkness World, he’d use his Light Bearer power rank.

Looking at the spark on top of his index finger, Zayne commented, "The interesting part about the Light Bearer Path is that the earlier power ranks of this power system lack offensive means."

"The earlier power ranks are more biased towards providing a light source to the Light Bearers to deal with the Perpetual Darkness’s corruption."

"For most Terran Survivors, it wouldn’t be an issue, since they can make use of guns and other weapons to kill First Order and Second Order Dark Monsters. The stronger Evolvers among them could even use their viral superpower to deal with those weaker Dark Monsters."

"In terms of destructive power, the Viral Evolution Path is still way superior to the Light Bearer Path. But to deal with the Perpetual Darkness’s corruption, the Viral Evolution Path is still insufficient, unless those Evolvers awaken a light-attributed viral superpower."

"Despite that, such means are still subpar, as proven by the elves from the Elf World. Even their light-attributed magic couldn’t gain an advantage over Dark Monsters of the same power rank."

Jade nodded in agreement. "It’s for this reason that the Universe had even germinated the Universal Law of Everlasting Light. Even most light-attributed attacks are only derived from the low-grade Universal Law of Light, so it couldn’t hold an advantage over the Perpetual Darkness."

"If the Universal Law of Light was sufficient to deal with the Perpetual Darkness, the Universal Law of Everlasting Light wouldn’t have been made to be the core for the Light Bearer Path."

In the Light Bearer Path, Elas had revealed that they’ve discovered ten ranks that corresponded to the Dark Monsters’ First Order Dark Monster to Tenth Order Dark Monster.

From weakest to strongest, the ten ranks of the Light Bearer Path were: Spark, Firefly, Candle, Lantern, Flash, Brilliant Light, Moonlight, Blazing Sun, Luminescent Star, and Light King.

A Light King was the equivalent of a Tenth Order Dark Monster in the Light Bearer Path.

In other words, if it were the power system of the train survival universe, a Light King was a Titan rank powerhouse.

Of course, average powerhouses at Titan rank would find it difficult to deal with a Tenth Order Dark Monster, compared to a Light King fighting against a Tenth Order Dark Monster.

Elas had explained that even he, who was a Ten Circle Mage, didn’t have the confidence to deal with a Tenth Order Dark Monster without being corrupted by the Perpetual Darkness.

The greatest advantage of a Light King compared to Titan rank powerhouses from other power systems was the possession of an Inner Light capable of resisting or even purifying the darkness of a Tenth Order Dark Monster.

Due to this advantage, they’d be able to fight multiple Tenth Order Dark Monsters without fearing the Perpetual Darkness’s corruption.

If it were other Titan rank powerhouses, the Perpetual Darkness’s corruption was like shit on the dark monster that they’d want to avoid contacting as much as possible.

But for Zayne, who possessed a very versatile high-grade Universal Law, he could easily deal with the Perpetual Darkness using the Boundary of Light and Darkness.

The only reason why he pursued the Light Bearer Path was due to it being able to allow him to step into Heaven rank. After all, the Universal Law of Everlasting Light was definitely a Universal Law with no one dominating it.

Even Jade had already agreed to use Legacy Transmission on Zayne if he were to need the law fragments of the Universal Law of Everlasting Light that she had comprehended.

Compared to Zayne, who was pursuing a high power rank and didn’t have any issues with possessing and using multiple power systems at the same time, Jade wasn’t as obsessed with it and was willing to part with it.

After all, Jade valued her Time Supremacy more in comparison to the Light Bearer Path. Since Zayne was her light, she’d do anything for his sake.

Ultimately, a Light Bearer’s Inner Light reflected their greatest ideal, goal, or whatever they strive for. It was the core reason for their continued existence.

Since the Universal Law of Everlasting Light only held 100% law fragment ownership in this universe, only one person could attain Heaven rank with it. Not only that, no one must possess even 0.0001% law fragment ownership of this universal law.

It was for this reason that Jade had already prepared herself to pass on whatever law fragment percentage she owned to Zayne if he ever needed it.

After all, the value of a Heaven rank powerhouse was undeniable.

Even a mere Half-Step Heaven rank Wild God was powerful enough to eliminate the entire Zenith Train Crew, let alone a true Heaven rank powerhouse!
