Chapter 4543: Creating A Compendium
Chapter 4543: Creating A Compendium
"Big sister!"
"Third sister."
Isabella and Evelynn finally met, the two of them locking hands as they looked at each other with numerous emotions.
Evelynn had a knowing smile on her face, causing Isabella to blush.
"You can’t blame me for spending a few days with him."
"Of course, you can monopolize him all you want. We were the ones who stayed home while you worked hard for the family. Even if you banish me to the cold palace for a year or two, I can endure."
"Wha-" Isabella went flabbergasted before she tapped Evelyn’s shoulder as though incensed, but she smiled gratefully.
"I will never do that. After so many years, I got to be together with him. Words can’t describe how I felt."
"True. Although I haven’t spent time away from him as long as you, I do know the emotions that haunt you while aching for him, but also the fulfilling emotions after we reunite."
"It is wonderful." Isabella nodded.
"Welcome back." Evelynn couldn’t help but hug her.
She deeply missed Isabella, who had always been by her side, helping her navigate the harem from the very beginning. Without Isabella, she would’ve found it hard to keep a straight face every time Davis brought someone new until she got used to it.
"I’m back, big sister. Don’t worry, I won’t leave you again. I’m tired of adventuring alone. It was vexing not to have you all by my side."
The two of them hugged firmly before they let go.
Isabella finally turned to look at the others.
She greeted Myria, teased Tia for still not becoming a full-fledged sister, and caressed Nadia, becoming surprised over her new form.
However, what was so surprising was that Azariel had grown. She had held him a lot and even fed him. For him to have grown into a fine man with a devilish charm, she was utterly taken aback.
After knowing his wish to have more wives, she even promised to help him.
"Third mother is the best!" Azariel echoed.
"Don’t spoil him."
"Third sister, you can’t corrupt him like this..."
"Third mother, you should put him in his place."
Davis, Evelynn, and Viridia instantly had a problem with it, but Isabella winked at them.
"The crown prince naturally can’t be any less than the Emperor after he had grown up and matured. Everything will be taken care of in due time."
Azariel slyly slipped away after he got the promise.
Davis shook his head.
He knew Isabella was even more crazed about Azariel’s growth than Evelynn, since she saw him as her own son.
Nonetheless, Isabella had a fruitful and satisfying time catching up with everyone here.
The Davis Family’s entourage became lively once again.
Meanwhile, Davis was asking Myria what had happened in the last few days he was with Isabella, and she informed him that they had ventured out to the surroundings and gained three Primarch Grade Treasures of varying levels and attributes.
Harvesting Primarch Grade Treasures would be a daunting task if they were alive. Fortunately, in this secret realm, only the spirit race manifested, and no other spirits grew. Even if these treasures had the potential to birth a spirit, this Dimension probably suppressed it from happening.
Hence, these Primarch Grade Treasures could only react instinctively despite having been nurtured for hundreds of millions of years.
The danger was less. Even normal Empyreans could harvest them as long as they could tell how these treasures would react defensively when being harvested.
Hence, managing to get three more Primarch Grade Treasures in a few days was already good, even though it was just a drop in the ocean that Isabella gathered.
Apparently, the number of Primarch Grade Treasures she possessed crossed well over two hundred by her efforts alone in the past two years on top of the three hundred and twelve recourses they collected before that.
Hence, the stash of Primarch Grade resources they had gathered had reached well over five hundred at the very least. The sheer number of Primarch Grade resources would cause any Upper Realm to turn red with greed.
"I’ll start categorizing them and find out their nature and uses. It would be more efficient if Dalila were here, but I won’t slack off. I have to increase my knowledge in Alchemy to reach the Primarch Grade, and having a tremendous amount of resources to dissect and learn is the best way to make sure my comprehension remains comprehensive and all-encompassing."
"Alright, I will also help."
Davis nodded with a solemn expression.
His prowess might’ve grown plenty, but he might still die to some random Primarch Grade Treasure if he were nonchalant about it and blindly walked into it without thinking about it. Although he would revive, it’d be pretty embarrassing to die from that when Isabella and the others have collected so much just by identifying and guessing the instinctive defensive reaction.
More than being embarrassed, he really did want to improve his Alchemy Skills to Primarch Grade. He was confident that if he had focused on Alchemy for the past decade that he would’ve surpassed everyone except Dalila. However, he didn’t think he would lose either, feeling like he would be on par.
He had beaten her once already in a competition, after all.
Regardless, the Davis Family split into five teams and set out to collect more resources while Myria and Davis stayed together to make a compilation. They named it the Flora of the Shard Worlds. They used their soul force to make an imprint on the scrolls and inscribed using a real ink brush, their strokes making waves as they dissected, studied, and wrote over its uses.
Some Primarch Grade Treasures were ruined because of this matter. Although not fully wasted, the more they dissected, the more their proficiency increased. Their knowledge increased drastically, and they stopped worrying about Shirley and the others since Isabella let them know they had also gotten tremendously stronger.
Thanks to her information, they spent two weeks fully learning about the available Primarch Grade resources and successfully categorized them.
"Great!~"
Watching the compilation appear and exude an ominous aura, Isabella clapped her hands, "Now that a book full of karmic burden is completed and infects those who read it, we must thank little sister Myria and husband for their immense effort. To reward them, I have thought about offering sister Myria this...!"
"This..." Myria’s pupils dilated as she recognized the mark on the book, "This is the Compendium of Primarch Grade Flora from the Astral Pill Upper Realm...!"
"That’s right." Isabella appeared smug, "How did you think I went around managing to collect so many Primarch Grade Herbs without Dalila’s help? Although it is just the first volume, it greatly increases one’s ability to identify Primarch Grade Herbs and deal with them properly. As for not giving it earlier, I didn’t want to interfere with the process of your comprehension, since learning by oneself is the best way to learn. Hehe~"
She cheekily giggled, causing Myria and Davis to smilingly shake their heads.
Whether it was as Isabella said or her way of making them stay together for a period of time in the name of study, they couldn’t underestimate the Empress of the Davis Family.
"Now," Isabella daintily raised her hand and tapped her chin with her finger, "For the Emperor’s reward, how about... Zenova?"
