Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf

Chapter 352: New World Weapon

800 kilometres from where Adrian was, a pirate ship was sailing the seas, a storm raged around them.

The ocean surged and roared like an angry beast but the ship never fell for this ship was an enchanted item.

This pirate crew was quite famous in these seas, especially their captain, the sea child he was called.

" Boys, tonight we feast!" The sea child roared, his crew mates roared with him, they’ve just raided a merchant ship.

Most merchants had teleportation abilities but the sea was his home, his title was not without merit.

He too had the power to go anywhere in the ocean, he was about to go back to his cabin when he felt a shiver.

" The ocean is bowing." The sea child whispered in a quivering voice, " Take Cover!" He screamed.

His crew mates barely had time to react before the ship found itself high in the air, they crashed back down like a falling mountain.

The sea parted and the ship went under, the sea child controlled the ocean itself bringing his ship back above the water.

" We need to get out of here now." He activated his ability, the sea rose and envoloped his ship.

Just as the ship was about to phase out and teleport, two tentacles rose beneath it and bound it in place.

A massive grey head rose above the ocean, two green eyes scanned the ship with an ancient hunger.

" No, it can’t be." The sea child fell on his knees having lost all strength. " We’re doomed."

The creature’s head approached the shop, its eyes firmly locked on him for to it, he was the best meal here.

" So this is a kraken? It’s uglier than the legends claim." The sea child head a voice behind him.

He turned and saw a handsome man with long silver hair standing behind him, he had no idea when this man arrived.

His silver eyes faced the kraken without fear, sensing his power, the sea childi knew this man was only at level 8.

The kraken on the other hand was definitely a Demigod level Gadra. The seed of hope that sprouted in his heart withered.

Adrian briefly glanced at this pirate before turning his full attention at the kraken standing before him.

" Alright little thing, hand me your heart and I’ll me this less painful." He floated in front of its face.

As if it understood him, the kraken roared and tried to swallow him whole, he teleported above it.

It punched him with its massive fist forcing him to teleport away again. Unlike the myths, the kraken was not an octopus.

It had a smooth grey serpentine body with a round head of a beast, two thick arms that ended in sharp claws.

However one thing they did get correct were the tentacles, they resembled those of an octopus but the suction cups hid poisonous needles.

As for the number, this one has more than 20 tentacles growing on its back, it swung them around like whips.

The wind howled, each time it attacked it split the sea apart and Adrian was starting to get overwhelmed.

Even with his ability to teleport, its attacks were like an ever closing net and the spade around him was getting locked.

" It seems you have no interest in playing with me, pity, you must die sooner then." His body changed.

Adrian took his werewolf form and a five metres tall silver werewolf appeared in the sky.

’ I’ve grown larger but more than that, I truly am stronger.’ his fur was no longer just silver, it was glowing.

Each strand was like a source of light itself giving him an ethereal form, on his forehead was a mark of the moon.

Most of the moon was dark and only a small part glowed silver like a crescent moon, ’ What is this? I feel a strange power from it.’

The power from that moon did not feel like his but at the same time felt familiar, unfortunately he couldn’t touch it right now.

He ignored the strange mark and faced the kraken, Adrian had no intentions of wasting his time any longer.

A dark purple almost black aura surrounded his claws, his left eye turned into a spiral of darkness.

’ Krakens have no special abilities but they’re nearly impossible to defeat plus those tentacles carry powerful venom.

I need to deal with its regeneration.’ he was brought out of his thought by the howling of wind.

The tentacles came from all directions his path of escape, space was locked he couldn’t even teleport.

’ If they hit me, it will hurt.’ Even if he wouldn’t die, getting rid of a Demigod’s venom would be troublesome.

His left eyes scanned the attacks and through it he saw lines connecting the tentacles to him.

’ Fate? No, this is order, the probability of escaping this attack unharmed is zero, I can’t change that.’

His chaos can change probability but there were two he couldn’t do anything about, 0 and 100.

Those meant the outcome was set, he knew he couldn’t dodge so he looked for the second best path.

" Scatter." He gently tapped the air with his palms, below the kraken, an underwater cyclone formed suddenly.

Caught off guard the Kraken’s body tilted, one if it’s tentacles diverted from its path and hit another.

This caused a domino effect and in a blink of an eye, its tentacles were entangled with each other.

Only two managed to reach him, that was inevitable, he conjured shields to block and tried to dodge to no avail.

The shields shattered like glass, the tentacles hit him, poison needles shot out from the suction cups and stabbed him.

Adrian flew back like a ragdoll, he crashed on the ocean and bounced hundreds of times before sinking under.

He flew back out and stretched his body, his wounds mended themselves instantly but the venom continued wrecking his body from the inside.

’ This venom is far stronger than expected, it won’t kill me but it’s weakening me, I need to end this quickly.’

His head was buzzing and his vision was getting blurry, he relied on lunar realm to observe his surroundings.

’ I’ve ran out of chaos for now, changing probability like that really takes a toll, I need to use that.’

For a while now Adrian’s been working on one weapon, ever since the day they fought Pestilence.

A new world weapon, it still wasn’t fully complete or rather it was not up to the standard he wanted.

But he couldn’t use the other weapons right now unless he had no other choice, they were the anchors to maintaining the barrier around his territory.

This one wasn’t, a silver timepiece appeared on his palm, " Rejoice you worthless creature, you’ll be the first to witness the might of my new toy."
