" That wasn’t like you." Said Adrian without looking up.

Annie raised her eyebrow, " What do you mean?" She asked.

" Ordering for even the children to be killed, it isn’t like you." He responded.

" I needed to make sure to remove any..." Annie paused and rubbed her forehead.

Adrian finally raised his eyes and looked at her, " Something is messing with your head, could it be wrath?" He asked.

Annie shook her head, " I don’t feel angry, I mean I did when I issued those orders but..I don’t feel it’s wrath."

Adrian nodded, " I see, perhaps I’m mistaken but I’ve also been feeling irritable lately."

They sat down and looked at each other, " Do you think another seal has been broken already?" Annie asked.

" I didn’t sense it but the remaining seals are considered the most powerful, it’s possible for them to go unnoticed by me." Replied Adrian.

They both suddenly felt a new presence in their room, a moment later a familiar figure appeared out of thin air.

Adrian’s face turned cold, " What do you want?" He asked coldly.

Meggie looked down and rubbed her hands, " I’m here to warn you." She whispered in a low voice.

Annie squeezed Adrian’s hand, he took a deep breath to calm himself down but it didn’t work.

When he looked at Meggie all he felt was rage, Meggie sprinkled some powder on his face and the anger disappeared like smoke.

" That should remove their influence for a while, I know you hate me sweetie and rightfully so but now isn’t the time.

The fairy mother is shielding me from the Axiom’s gaze but her fairy dust will not last for long.

I came to warn you about war, wrath and war are out, the world will be plunged into chaos before long.

With war’s presence, every little conflict will be magnified countless times and together with wrath.

Barely anybody will be able to resist their influence, you should be careful, your pack is bound to be caught up in the conflict to come." Meggie warned them.

" I see, no wonder I felt so much rage before." Said Annie, she now understood why she made that order.

Annie felt sad, regardless of influence, it was still a fact that she ordered members of her pack to kill children and innocent people.

The merchant deserved it but his family did not, nor did the innocent guards and maids in his mansion.

" It wasn’t your fault, don’t beat yourself up." Adrian tried to reassure her but Annie was feeling too down.

Meggie stood there, she took a step towards Adrian then stopped. Adrian was not even looking at her.

Meggie knew it was time to leave, the fairy dust was almost running out, ’ At least I got to see him.’

She told herself then teleported away leaving Adrian with even more rage than he knew what to do with.

He and Annie comforted each other, before long they received a pack call from Athi about a war.

------------------------------------------------

Somewhere in Alguard on the continent of the Fayera, Athi and two members of her lineage were watching a brewing war.

" I still don’t get it, why would that bastard do something like this, his family isn’t strong enough to handle the consequences."

Asked one of the werewolves but Athi didn’t have an answer, she too found it hard to believe.

Two days prior, a young prince from a neighbouring small kingdom forced himself on a princess.

From observation Athi knew that Prince had a thing for the princess but she was already spoken for.

What confused her was that the young prince had no history of violence or even forcing himself on a maid.

It made no sense for him to suddenly do something like this, " I guess I still don’t know the hearts of men." She whispered under her breath.

His actions naturally angered many people including the princess’s father, her fiance and even the young Prince’s own father.

So much so that the king was willing to execute him just to appease the other two kingdoms.

Unfortunately neither of the two were willing to back down, they’ve resigned himself to waging war.

And that’s how the current situation came to be, Athi watched everything atop a mountain.

Three armies marching towards a single point, all of them were shifters from different races.

Unbeknownst to her and the rest, this wasn’t the only place this happened, all over the world and even the human world.

From small gangs, neighbouring villages to even countries, people waged wars on each other, blood flowed like rivers.

The wars did not occur at once, they started on a small scale, so small they went unnoticed by the top leaders of the world.

Time passed like this and in a few months things changed, it started in the human world.

Two neighbouring countries discovered a mine of unknown material in the neutral zone between their borders.

At first, both came to the agreement to study this material together, that was until they learnt was it did.

The material had esper in it, esper than can be used by even normal humans allowing them to mimic the Espara.

The biggest issue came when they learnt using esper increased ones lifespan, their fragile alliance started cracking.

In less than two years since the material was discovered, war started to claim the neutral zone as they’re territory.

The war lasted an entire year, millions of human fell in the conflict as both countries dropped bombs and drones on each other.

However things escalated when one of them dropped a nuclear bomb inside a city of millions.

Naturally the other country dropped its own bomb in response and in only a few months multiple cities disappeared from the face of the earth.

This finally drew the attention of organisations and even the High Council, the organisation took action.

A cleaner was sent to fix the situation, nobody knew what happened but both countries disappeared from the face of the earth.

This angered the Organisation and even the high council as some Fayera lived in those countries.

Adrian later learnt the cleaner was not the only one sent there, a daughter from a clan within the organisation had went first to mediate.

The cleaner was meant to deal with the top brass but decided to wipe out both countries and in doing so killed the mediator as well.

This sparked a new conflict within the Organisation itself as two clans demanded the death of another.

The situation escalated so much it needed the interference of the clans of the round table.

This had nothing to do with Adrian, for the past four years, he’s been trying his best to avoid war.
