Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox

Chapter 908 – Last swimsuits

"With that taken care of, let's see how they are doing." Moon Aiko looked towards the Foxes 'playing on the beach.

Currently, the Muscle Foxes are trying to compete with Nero over who is stronger. Not something she minded, but...

"Wasn't she supposed to be shy?" Moon Aiko couldn't follow her character.

"Oh, now she is mingling with the Foxes." Moon Aiko nodded her head. She was glad that the Foxes had nothing against other Beasts, but they probably would not stand abuse, or at least that's what Aiko thought.

With what they experienced that was only natural.

"Hm? They are groping her?" Moon Aiko didn't expect that, but when she saw Nero groping them back, she found it quite funny.

*Squeal~*

The Foxes giggled and squealed as they ran off from Nero, who was promptly chasing her.

"As long as everyone gets along." Moon Aiko nodded her head.

Looking towards the tower, for some reason there were Twins located over there. No idea why, but it seemed like they were enjoying themselves.

As for the fortress, it was an exclusion zone of the rehabilitating Foxes, so she didn't even need to go inside to know what was happening there.

"Swimsuits~" Moon Aiko decided to visit the Clothier, or what his nickname was, because she had more test subjects for her swimsuits.

"Mei and Dai Lu are too shy." Moon Aiko frowned. She couldn't 'convince' Dai Lu, considering her thoughts were read, but she could convince Mei with the right tools.

"Leotard swimsuit with a waist skirt?" Moon Aiko thought that might be barely appropriate and that Mei might actually enjoy it.

As for Bai Jing and Li Xiu, she had no idea.

Bai Jing was an issue, since Moon Aiko never talked to her all that much and Li Xiu... well, it felt like anything would go with her.

...

"You are back." The haggard Clothier was swamped with work. "Please don't tell me you have more designs."

"I have more designs." Moon Aiko said with a flat expression.

"Didn't you hear me? I told you not to tell me." The Clothier groaned even more, realising there would be many more designs to handle and work to do.

"It can't be that ba-" The Clothier showed Moon Aiko the list of things he had to make. Overall, there were around half a million reserved swimsuits for purchase.

"Wait, hold on, there are not that many Foxes." Moon Aiko stopped him, feeling like there was something fishy.

The Clothier adjusted his clothes and glasses, whenever he got them, and said with solemn expression. "Every Fox has at least 2 swimsuits. Usually one 'modest' and one 'lewd'."

"... I'm sorry." Moon Aiko didn't expect that. Sure, everyone loves shopping, but everyone also should know there is a limit.

"It's because of the damned twins." The Clothier clicked his tongue.

"They wouldn't be part of my team, right?" Moon Aiko pursed her lips.

"They are, and they even said that they need 20 pairs. One pair for each design and then some spares." The Clothier whined, since that was a lot of work just for a single group, but what could he do? They already paid everything upfront!

And when the other Foxes noticed that it was possible, they also made reservations for multiple types!

The only ones that didn't order more than one set, or even that, were the most broken rehabilitating Foxes, of which the number wasn't all that high, only around 20,000.

This number was much better to what it was previous, and it could even be said to be a miracle in the making.

"I'm sorry." Moon Aiko really didn't expect that part, but thinking about what happened during the testing... "You should've limited it."

"THAT is already with limits imposed." The Clothier sniffled. He didn't expect everyone to take the limits as suggestions and order the very limit as the baseline!

"So, what do you want?" The Clothier knew that when she came, nothing good would happen to him and everything good would happen to him at the same time.

It was a wild contradiction, but then again, this Fox was full of such contradictions.

"I need a few more swimsuits. You don't have to make them public since two of them are for the Southern Sect friends." Moon Aiko gestured.

"Southern Friends, I mean, Sect? Wait, when did that happen?" The Clothier blinked. He didn't leave this room after the tests were finished, and he simply kept working on the orders and now the Southern Sect was visiting?!

"Yeah, it happened not too long ago." Moon Aiko nodded her head, happy that he understood the situation.

"Nonono, hold on. You can't just brush it off by 'it happened not too long ago'. I demand an explanation!" The Clothier was worried that he would have to fulfil the orders for the other market as well, in which case it might be easier to hang himself.

"It's a long story, are you sure you want to listen to it?" Moon Aiko raised her eyebrow.

"... Go on." The Clothier picked the sheets of rubber that were prepared to be made into swimsuits.

"So, it started when I woke up as a Fox." Moon Aiko recounted her whole story, how she met Li Xiu, how she reunited later and so on.

It was a wild story, with many gripping moments and emotions.

...

"... I'm thankful for my normal life, so please don't ruin me." The Clothier sincerely prayed when he heard the crazy story the Vicious Jade Fox had to go through and suddenly felt like his story was pretty kind and uneventful.

He would even make a small figurine that he would pray to in order to ward off any events that might happen to him!

"..." Moon Aiko stared at him speechlessly, her life was pretty normal alright?! There was nothing abnormal about it!

It's not like there was a stampe- Wait, fine, not that one, but it's not like she sank a whole islan- That didn't happen, right?

Moon Aiko was not even sure herself what she did and what she didn't as it was her usual normal life, but sinking an island shouldn't have happened.

"Phew." The Clothier wiped his non-existent sweat and turned towards her. "So, what are the designs?" He was able to finish around 5,000 swimsuits while the Vicious Jade Fox was telling her story, so it was pretty fulfilling and nice.

"You have balls of steel, did anyone tell you that?" Moon Aiko was honestly impressed by his grit. She just saw his hands move very quickly, making one swimsuit after another like this was some kind of an automation game.

"You are visiting me. If I don't have them, then I will die." The Clothier was dismissive of his achievement of staying somewhat calm in front of this lunatic.

"You are over-exaggerating." Moon Aiko waved her hand in front of her face, as if dismissing that accusation.

The Clothier rolled his eyes. "Just show me."

"For Jade Fox, I was planning something like this." Moon Aiko gestured at a leotard with a waist skirt that was up to the ankles.

"I'm not sure if you are a lunatic or genius, but go on." If his understanding of Jade Fox was correct, she would be subjected to some spanking later.

"For the Southern Sect, this one simple two piece with string is for the more endowed, while this one frilly and cute is for the shy one." Moon Aiko gestured again, a bikini two piece suit with strings wrapped below the bra and around the stomach.

Meanwhile, the other one was also two-piece, but much more modest and restrained. It was also more cute due to the frills and gentler, softer colours like pink.

"I hate dyeing." The Clothier murmured, but at least the second swimsuit was not coloured.

The hardest even colour would be white, followed by purple, blue and bright pink. He simply didn't have enough materials to make them better.

However, things like green, red and so on were very easy, but almost nobody wanted them like that.

"There is nothing I can do about that." Moon Aiko shrugged.

"Yeah, yeah. I should've limited the colours too." The Clothier sighed, but since everyone already made the reservations, he was pretty fucked.

"Now you will know for the future." Moon Aiko said that seriously, but for some reason it felt like the Clothier wanted to punch her.

"Anyway, when should I come over again?" Moon Aiko saw his hands, so this was probably not too difficult for him.

"In a few hours. These are simple, but I want to have a small break before making more." The Clothier was improving his skills steadily, which he was thankful of. However, the sudden intensity of his work made him sore all over.

"Don't die on me." Moon Aiko waved at him while leaving.

The Clothier just sighed...

...

Moon Aiko went out, only to see the beach cleaned up, with large paper umbrellas everywhere, creating shade for the Foxes.

Nero and others also settled down and were sleeping in one big pile.

"Everything calmed down? But I don't believe I was away for long..." Moon Aiko was confused. Seriously confused!

"Well, everyone is happy, so it should be fine." Moon Aiko nodded her head, appreciating the calm situation.

"I wonder how Mei is doing, but since I sent over the Southern Grandmaster, everything should be fine." Moon Aiko nodded her head. She was convinced that nothing bad would happen to her, especially with Dai Lu around.

"Now, what do I do?" Moon Aiko felt like she could go treasure hunting.

First, it would be better to record the size of this island, alongside the height and vegetation. This should give her the general idea about the size of this place and possible Treasures she could obtain.

This also shouldn't take her too long, so she could later return for the swimsuits and help Mei get into it.

With that plan in mind. Moon Aiko went around the island to draw down the approximate shape.

However, when she did, she was startled.

This whole place was shaped like a Sun being covered by a waxing crescent Moon. The plains and beach were the dark part, the mountains and forests were the light part.

The beach had an abundance of Yang, or at least that's what was supposed to happen, but it actually was reversed, which greatly confused Moon Aiko.

She would have to look over this again in the coming days to figure out this mystery~!
