Creepy Pharmacist: All my patients are scary!
Chapter 751: Mechanical Nanite Swarm
Having resolved the matters on Miaomiao's side, Lynn wasted no time or hesitation. He immediately divided the work clearly and began collecting the fallen fragments of the Leviathan throughout the ruins of the Cursed City.
These were all Root-level materials, and according to the System's introduction, this seemed to be the corpse of an Ancient God that had fallen long ago.
For him, this was absolutely a treasure trove of immense research value!
"Since that's the case, let's split up and collect as many intact Leviathan fragments as possible. Once we're back in Nightfall City, who knows, maybe we can use these fragments to manufacture more potions capable of countering the curse!"
Lynn declared with righteous fervor.
Of course.
Lynn would never admit that he was the one who wanted them for himself.
After all, most of the people around him now were Root-level entities, so they had no use for these materials. Naturally, in the end, they would all be for his own use.
He was absolutely delighted inside.
Without any hesitation, after dividing the tasks, Lynn sped off toward the direction where he had first crashed.Because he remembered that when he was chasing down that Doctor earlier, the area there had the most Leviathan fragments. And with a supply of Root-level materials like this in the future, he truly wouldn't need to be as frugal as before when refining various potions.
Just thinking about it was very nice indeed!
The next moment, Lynn leaped up, vaulting over a massive earth mound in an instant, and immediately saw the massive burning remains of flesh scattered across the Wasteland.
A grin spread across Lynn's face so wide it almost bloomed.
"Time to get to work!"
Without another word.
Lynn immediately opened his System Space and cheerfully began his scavenging operation.
And of course, the System's notifications rang continuously in his ears.
[Ding! You have obtained Leviathan Flesh and Blood x100 units!]
[Ding! You have obtained Leviathan Eyeballs x342!]
[Ding! You have obtained Leviathan Tentacle Tissue x400 units!]
[Ding! You have obtained Leviathan Prostate Tissue x122 units!]
With the notifications sounding in his ears, Lynn picked up everything wherever he went, stuffing his System Space so full that nothing more could fit. Then, using Cataclysm to manifest tentacles, he bundled up everything that could be packed and greedily dragged it all along behind him.
As the saying goes, the timid starve while the bold feast!
And with these materials, he could absolutely make up for the losses he had suffered in all these battles!
So, looking down from the high sky, one could clearly see a young human boy tirelessly dragging behind him a massive mass of flesh hundreds of times his own size, working harder than anyone.
What he didn't notice, however.
Was that in the distance, among the desolate and burning rubble, a piece of broken stone slowly shifted.
And in the very next moment.
A faint breeze inexplicably blew out from among those stones, incredibly eerie. If one looked closely, they could even clearly see dense patterns of erosion appearing on the surface of those stones.
They drifted slowly across the ground, inch by inch, approaching in Lynn's direction.
Like an invisible ghost.
And in that instant.
Hum—
The breeze suddenly surged, violently rippling through the air in wave after wave, then like a flood of beasts, it swept toward Lynn's direction.
And almost simultaneously, the cheerful Lynn heard the System's notification ring out in his ears.
[Warning! Warning! Detection of mechanical nano-clusters! Evade immediately!]
The piercing alarm blared instantly.
Lynn shuddered.
Without a moment's hesitation, Lynn whipped his head around and activated his fold-jump ability, transforming into a massive cloud of blood mist and reappearing hundreds of meters away.
"Nano-clusters?!"
Lynn materialized instantly, his eyes narrowing sharply as he gazed at the spot where he had just been standing.
And he immediately saw.
The ground where he had been standing had been gnawed into a crater over a dozen meters deep. Even the massive pile of Leviathan flesh he had been dragging showed faint signs of being nibbled on.
These terrifying clusters had caused him no end of trouble underground before.
But he never expected.
That with the God of All Machines' retreat, these annoying things had actually remained in this place.
Lynn's gaze turned wary.
Around him, the breeze blew softly.
A buzzing sound gradually filled his ears. Dust seemed to be stirring across the surrounding ground, and the System's warnings in his ears grew increasingly piercing.
Clearly.
At this very moment, countless nano-machines were swarming up from beneath the battlefield.
But Lynn wasn't worried.
Sir Aiwen and the others were scattered throughout this battlefield. Dealing with these annoying nano-machines would be a piece of cake for them.
What puzzled Lynn, though, was why these nano-clusters, which had already formed such a large scale, would suddenly surge out all at once. Were they still executing orders to exterminate him?
Lynn was perplexed.
And in that moment.
The breeze surged once more, coalescing into a rolling storm in the sky above, howling as it launched a second full-scale assault on Lynn.
And judging by the numbers, it was clearly several times larger than before.
"Heh, your masters have already fled in disgrace. Do you really think you can stir up any waves in front of me? Don't make me laugh!"
Lynn sneered, adjusting his Monocle.
Without any hesitation.
He leaped into the air, crimson light gathering in his hand. With no intention of retreating, he prepared to unleash a max-powered S&M Strike at them.
Even though he didn't know if someone was controlling them, when in doubt, hitting them with S&M was always the right call. And if S&M didn't work, then he'd immediately run and call for backup. With this process in place, dying was practically impossible.
For a brief moment.
Lynn's terrifying S&M Fist was about to come crashing down upon the rolling storm.
But it was precisely at this moment that the heart in Lynn's chest suddenly seemed to sense something, jerking violently. A phantom of Hyper-Dimensional Perception flashed through his nerves.
Before Lynn could even react.
In the next instant.
From the cracks in the ground ahead of him, countless pale red ethereal breezes surged forth, sweeping across the nano-clusters charging toward Lynn at an unimaginable speed.
Humming and buzzing—
The air vibrated incessantly. The entire ground in the surrounding area exploded with countless waves of blood-red wind.
Like starving tigers pouncing on their prey, they instantly interwove with those invisible nano-clusters, engaging in an unimaginable slaughter within the microscopic domain.
Lynn, who had been about to unleash that S&M Fist, was shaken to his core.
But vaguely.
Through the Colossus's Heart, he could dimly sense that these blood-red breezes seemed to be trying to establish a connection with him through the Hyper-Dimensional Perception between Colossus flesh and blood.
Could it be... these were...
And in the next moment, with another thump of his heart, a mechanical voice echoed clearly in his mind.
"Mother—"
The moment that voice sounded, Lynn was shocked. His fist trembled, and the fully charged S&M Fist he had been about to unleash went flying out on its own.
Instantly, the S&M exploded within the chaotic storm.
"Yaaaaaah♡——!!"
The mechanical voice was blasted into a loud cry, exploding inside Lynn's mind.
"Mother—this—feels very weird—!!"
