Chapter 701: The Colossus's Brain's Revival

  • Next Chapter

Outside the massive Colossus's Gate, the colossal Sir Aiwen stood like a gatekeeper, single-handedly holding back the God of All Machines and the Flesh and Blood Dominator.

But his gaze had also gradually grown chaotic and muddled.

Even he could clearly feel that his memories were now being stripped from his mind at an unimaginable speed.

Vast stretches of his past had already gone blank.

And the most terrifying part was, he didn’t even know what he had forgotten! Under the high-intensity battle, he could only constantly carve bloody reminders into his own consciousness, making himself remember that name, so that even after forgetting, he could see the gory words he had left behind…

To make himself trust.

“Lynn!”

Boom—

With a deafening roar, the massive Psychic Giant that Sir Aiwen had transformed into was finally found by the God of All Machines, who exploited a gap in his defenses and dealt a devastating blow to his consciousness.

As the giant flew backward, his Psychic Energy continuously dissipated. When he slammed heavily into the radiant gate behind him, he was forcibly reverted to his original form, his body becoming even more ethereal and chaotic.

The God of All Machines said coldly, “Cyber, you’re still as foolish as ever. Your memories should be almost completely erased by now. You’ve even forgotten how to use a lot of your Psychic Energy. But it doesn’t matter—I’ll devour you first, then go find the Colossus’s Brain.”

“Once you’ve all become a part of me, let’s see if this hell can still stop me!”

His gaze suddenly sharpened, and within his cold dragon pupils, a radiant light scattered.

Without any further hesitation.

His massive dragon body suddenly flapped its wings, diving down from the high sky, his sharp mechanical claws striking toward the gasping Sir Aiwen like lightning with brutal fury.

Sir Aiwen gasped heavily, his body flickering like the static on an old TV screen.

In his pupils.

The massive dragon claw was already inches away.

And he knew that now, he was doomed. The curse’s influence on him had reached its limit, nearly crushing him. To resist, he would have to fully unleash his power, but that would also completely plunge him into madness, turning him into a rabid monster.

Lynn.

Hurry…

Big Brother can’t… hold on any longer.

But just as he was about to make the decision to fully activate his strength, the massive Colossus’s Gate behind him suddenly rumbled with a thunderous roar. Accompanied by a brilliant light of ten thousand feet, it swung open behind him with a majestic presence.

Hum—

An unimaginably terrifying aura surged out like a horrible natural disaster, following the gate’s opening.

The God of All Machines’ expression changed drastically, his form instantly forced back by the bloody aura. He spread his massive mechanical wings just in time to barely withstand the awe-inspiring divine might.

“This is…”

In the distance, the Flesh and Blood Dominator’s enormous eye, hidden within the blood mist, also reflected that radiant light of ten thousand feet.

And in that moment.

From within the gate, a majestic, blood-colored apparition stepped out, treading upon that golden radiance of ten thousand feet, sweeping along with it countless obscure and incomprehensible words that surged forth like a flood from behind the door.

Almost brushing past him, Sir Aiwen stood there stunned as the apparition flashed by his side. The cold, indifferent glow in its silver pupils caught a glimpse of Sir Aiwen’s form. A ethereal hand grasped his shoulder, and together they charged forward into the vast sea of blood mist.

As if seven thousand years ago, they had once stood side by side like this, facing the same formidable enemy, joining forces to cast him down into hell.

“Colossus…”

Sir Aiwen’s lips trembled, murmuring to himself.

Hum—

Without any exchange or words.

Those silver pupils reflected the God of All Machines’ horrified expression, and also that enormous eye hidden within the blood mist.

A massive blood-colored stream of light instantly swept toward the God of All Machines. Under that overwhelming, unassailable force, the God of All Machines was severely wounded in a single exchange. His entire body vibrated at high frequency, letting out an enraged, piercing howl, and amid flickering ethereal flashes, he was blasted out of this Colossus Space.

He turned his head sharply, a cold glimmer flashing in his silver pupils.

A giant hand stirred the sky-full of blood mist, crushing countless spaces. The Flesh and Blood Dominator’s massive eye was instantly reduced to countless droplets of blood mist with a single slap.

Casually, he had driven away two Roots.

He did not linger.

Amid countless golden characters, he soared into the sky, churning the winds and clouds of the entire heavens.

Hum—

As Sir Aiwen stared in a daze, the apparition seemed to transform into a brilliant sun in the sky, with endless light spreading out from its center like a flood, expanding across the entire vast space.

And in the instant his eyes were filled with that golden light, he felt his consciousness being peeled away.

He realized.

This was a clearance operation and expulsion.

The Colossus’s Brain, having merged with the Colossus’s Heart, had already left the prison it had built for itself, fully completing its revival!

Boom—

As if his consciousness had been struck by a heavy hammer, Sir Aiwen’s eyes snapped open. The severe injuries he had sustained in that space were all uniformly transferred to his physical body in the outside world.

He clutched his chest, gasping heavily, then abruptly raised his head.

He was out!

He had escaped the confines of that Colossus Space, returning to the wasteland of the Cursed City.

And with this expulsion, all the Roots that had been forcibly pulled into that mental space should have also returned to their bodies.

But what about Lynn?

He spun his head sharply, his gaze piercing through the boundless distance, landing on that body on the distant wasteland.

His pupils constricted.

What he saw was Lynn’s body kneeling on the ground, both knees, with his eyes wide open and vacant. There was a large hole in his chest, with crimson blood gushing and pooling around him. His hands were covered in blood, as if he had personally torn his own heart out of his chest.

His heart… was gone.

But he immediately sensed that Lynn was definitely not dead. His consciousness was still inside that Colossus Space.

And if the Colossus’s Brain and the Colossus’s Heart had already merged.

What would it do now?
