Chapter 1528: Chapter 34: Blitz (17)_2
This data means that both sides have nearly exhausted their last bit of strength, relying almost entirely on a few remaining individuals to determine whether the positions will continue to be held or breached.
The Lieutenant has witnessed various kinds of slaughter, seen the most brutal battlefield defenses. Yet, he never imagined that a battle could become as fierce as the current frontline of the central positions.
He dared not lift his head to look. Because with just a glance, he feared he might never be able to turn away again. In the future, he’d lose the confidence to pilot Mecha, lose the courage to fight!
This is the eighth assault by the Western Alliance Army, and simultaneously, the eighth strike from two hundred Judgers.
Those Judgers, with axe-like heads, are cold and ruthless. They move ahead of each strong assault launched by the Suss Armored Group, as if taking a leisurely stroll.
Rapid as a sudden storm, the long-range firepower poses no threat to them. Once they close in, before your finger completes issuing a command to the Mecha, their ion light saber or fist will have already pierced your body.
They are a group of emotionless Grim Reapers, harvesting lives with near-perfect control. No one can stand before them.......except for the bandit army!
"Boom," a thunderous roar. The Lieutenant finally couldn’t resist turning to look. On the hillside ahead of the central position, two Mecha revealed their forms amidst the swirling smoke and splattering rubble.
At the instant they appeared, one black and one green figure magnetically attracted to each other, like two magnets. A storm-like clash of steel rang out, the collisions resounding like an ear-splitting heavy metal percussion!
Bang! The Green Mecha was kicked by a Judger on the arm guarding its head, flipped sideways to roll out more than ten meters, the Mecha’s shell plowed deep fissures into the ground.
The left forearm that was kicked has completely shattered. The drive rod juts through its cracked shell, swinging rapidly, scraping against the steel plate at the crack, producing an awful noise.
The elbow joint is obviously broken, the entire forearm twisted into an odd pose, with many parts popping out from the cracks due to the forced movement of the Mecha’s transmission mechanism.
The Lieutenant felt a tightening in his chest. He knows who controls that Mecha.
It’s a young Leray Lieutenant Colonel named Stiller, with a kind smile and a handsome face.
Just as his heart was gripped, the hand of the Green Mecha braced and the foot lunged, like a shell shot from a barrel, crashing into the Judger.
A kind of spine-chilling desperate fury exploded, rushing towards everyone!
"Courting death!" The Judger Mech Knight, enraged by Stiller’s fierce courage and wildness, roared angrily, lifted its leg, bent its knee, and slammed it towards the head of the Green Mecha.
Their actions are swift as lightning and thunderbolt, in a blink of an eye, they were right in front of each other.
The Lieutenant watched breathlessly, his heart pounding furiously!
Watching the iron knee of the Judger about to smash the head of the Green Ranger to pieces, the Lieutenant suddenly noticed that Stiller forcibly twisted his body in the lightning-fast moment, avoiding the vital spot of the head, and put the broken left arm along with the shoulder in front of the Judger’s knee, while the right hand of the Mecha thrust fiercely towards the other leg of the Judger.
"Boom!"
Another deafening roar.
The Green Mecha flew out again, its scar-covered body drawing an arc in mid-air before crashing heavily to the ground. Its entirety was devoid of any intact parts.
Lying on the ground, its shell twisted in a pitiful fashion, seemingly declaring it as a complete failure. However, the Lieutenant standing nearby could distinctly feel it smiling.
It was a round face, a grim smile!
Twenty meters away, an ion dagger protruded from the Judger’s cockpit. Unknown green liquid mixed with dark red blood oozed out from the opening, trickling along the Mecha’s shell to the ground.
The Judger knelt straight on the ground. The grim face of the Spartan Warrior stiff and bewildered.
Its knee strike completed, yet its other leg had its external drive rod and joint crankshaft broken by the desperate Stiller at the cost of half his body. This caused it to lose balance and the ability for continuous actions the moment it hit ground, kneeling down.
If given five more seconds, no, perhaps just one or two, it would drive the standby system from a kneeling posture, rising to continue maneuvering, and continue swift movements.
Sadly, ifs don’t exist in this world. What has happened will never change. Once the wheels of history and fate choose a path, they advance coldly without reversing.
The ion dagger protruding from the smoke forced it into a humiliating position.
The Lieutenant witnessed this insidious and deadly ambush from start to finish.
He saw that when Stiller’s Green Mecha was first kicked out, another Green Mecha had already appeared behind the Judger’s side.
At that moment, perhaps none of it was premeditated. However, as soon as the two Rangers appeared in each other’s vision, with no communication, an Absolute Kill had swiftly taken shape.
As Stiller crashed to the ground, he sprung back up, his scar-covered form launching a crazy counterattack with a reckless posture of fighting to the death. When he drew all the Judger’s attention, at the cost of the left arm and a shoulder’s indentation, he forced the Judger to kneel down.
