The cars were all speeding, whizzing past Chen Xing in a flash.

When she saw the driver of the fourth car, she couldn’t stay put any longer.

After the six cars passed, another convoy appeared some distance behind them.

This convoy looked far more brazen.

Their headlights cut blindingly through the pitch-dark night, and men were leaning out of the sunroofs, waving large sabers and screaming.

Judging by the excited looks on their faces, this was clearly a regular occurrence for them.

As the last vehicle, a small open-bed pickup truck, passed by, Chen Xing shot out and vaulted onto its tailgate in one swift motion.

The driver was so startled that the truck skidded.

Immediately, the man in the passenger seat looked back through the rear window and saw a woman standing on their truck.

A beautiful woman, no less!

Still, he was vigilant enough. He grabbed a gun and stuck his head out the side window.

The moment his head was out, he was yanked clean through the window and hurled onto the road.

The truck was moving fast. He landed headfirst and died instantly.

The man in the driver’s seat was completely stunned.

While he stared in horrified disbelief, Chen Xing had already slipped into the passenger seat. With a single kick, she sent the driver flying out of the truck.

She quickly slid into the driver’s seat and floored the accelerator.

But it was just a pickup truck, after all.

Forget catching the convoy that had fled; she couldn’t even catch up to the cars directly ahead of her.

But Chen Xing wasn’t worried.

She just followed them at a steady pace.

Two hours later, the entire convoy came to a halt for some unknown reason up ahead.

She hopped out of the truck and ran toward them.

"Ran Gaoyang, let’s see where you can fucking run this time!" an enraged Brother Hao snarled, grabbing Ran Gaoyang and landing a vicious punch. "You killed my big brother! You fucking killed my big brother while I was away! You thought you could silence everyone and I’d never find you, huh?"

He hadn’t stopped looking for Chen Xing since his older brother’s death.

That woman wasn’t afraid in the slightest. She traveled all over the world so brazenly that every time he tracked her down and rushed over, he’d arrive to find her already gone.

’The heavens have eyes!’

By pure chance, he’d discovered that the real killers were this very group.

"If one of your men hadn’t been carrying my big brother’s belongings, I would’ve fucking thought that bitch Chen Xing was the only one who killed him!"

As he spoke, Brother Hao yanked a bandana off the neck of a man in Ran Gaoyang’s group.

The man looked shocked and guilty.

’He’d just found it in the supply depot. Could it have been brought in by accident during a supply run?’

Brother Hao pocketed the bandana, his eyes bloodshot with rage. He raised a hand and clamped it around the neck of the man who had dared to wear Brother Leopard’s bandana.

But before he could apply any pressure, his grip suddenly loosened.

A wave of numbness instantly spread up from his wrist.

He whirled around angrily. Something had flown from behind and struck his wrist.

She was walking toward them through the darkness, radiating a confidence that suggested their numbers meant nothing to her.

"Why are you here?" Seeing it was Chen Xing, Ran Gaoyang thought, ’It’s over.’

’Chen Xing only helped us before. It’s not worth her risking her life for us now.’

Chen Xing nodded, her expression as impassive as ever.

"Sister Xing..." A delighted Qiu Min poked her head out of a window. Her big, tear-bright eyes blinked, not yet understanding the danger they were in.

She unconsciously broke into a smile so brilliant it was almost blinding.

Brother Hao was both frightened and furious. Seeing that her tiger wasn’t with her, his courage swelled. "I wasn’t even looking for you, and you just served yourself up on a platter? Boss Ge Hui, it’s this bitch! She wiped out one of my teams, and she’s the one who killed my big brother!"

This wasn’t the first time they had been attacked by Brother Hao’s men.

The last time Brother Hao had ambushed them, more than ten members of their team had lost their lives. Xu Biao, in particular, had sacrificed himself to save Qiu Min and the others.

Even now, Qiu Min often woke up crying from nightmares.

Ran Gaoyang discussed it with Ling Yi and a few other core members of his team, and they decided to go.

The monsters outside were getting fiercer, and the zombies were evolving too quickly. They really didn’t dare to keep wandering anymore.
