[FROLO]

To say he was shocked would be an understatement, especially when tender, tiny hands pinned him against the wall right before he could even make it to the door.

"Young Rom—" Sergei began, but Katya growled at him.

A low possessive omega growl that had Sergei raising a brow. He was trying to be a reasonable man. To take himself out of the equation so Katya could love himself without believing what Alek had said about him.

And yet somehow, he was the one pinned against the wall?

What the fuck?

"Do not ’Young Romanov’ me, Vladimir," Katya warned, and Sergei stared into those fierce eyes, honestly confused because he didn’t know what to do.

"Katya," Sergei said, and the omega closed the distance between them, slamming their lips together, not even giving Sergei the chance to think of what this was.

"Take it back," Katya said to a still-loading Sergei.

The alpha wasn’t sure if he was to be happy, he had his omega kissing him, or if he was to be scared because Katya Romanov was not in the right mind, and now, he was initiating contact.

It was a dangerous state to be in, and he wasn’t even denying it right now.

"Don’t do this to yourself, Katya," Sergei said, and Katya glared at him.

"Solnyshka... It’s Solnyshka to you. Not Katya... Solnyshka," Katya raged, and Sergei smiled.

"You need to get rest, young Romanov. And... I’m going to leave before I do something that will make you hate me more than you hate yourself right now, okay?" Sergei said, willing himself to be rational.

There was a line that was starting to get blurry between them, and Sergei was determined not to cross it. Not when Katya was like this.

"Oh yeah? What will you do? Go to Irina? Kiss her with the same lips I’ve kissed? She’ll be tasting me on you," Katya said with a smirk, peppering kisses on Sergei’s face like he was determined to leave a mark on the alpha.

And Sergei...

He was still stuck in processing. Determined to be the bigger person. Determined to worm his way through this and stay sensible.

"Careful," Sergei growled lowly, the idea of anyone tasting Katya off of him pissing him off more than the fact that Katya was already kissing him, marking him possessively.

"Or else what?" Katya challenged, staring at Sergei with hazy, defiant eyes.

"Irina is my friend," Sergei strained out.

"I’m also your friend, but you let me kiss you. I guess it’s a habit then, kissing your friends on the lips?"

"You don’t want to go there, young Romanov," Sergei insisted, pissing Katya off even more.

"Fine. I’ll just kiss her the next time I see her. Maybe she’s a bett—" Katya said flatly, only for their positions to be switched and for his back to be against the wall instead of Sergei’s.

"Ooh... The big alpha defending his BEST friend," Katya spat before adding with a sinister chuckle, "makes me wanna go after her even more. You know... live up to what Alek and Yaro think of me."

"You’re being a little brat, young Romanov," Sergei breathed harshly as he pinned Katya’s hands above his head, making Katya glare at him.

"And what will you do about it... Alpha?" Katya challenged, forcing Sergei to breathe in harshly.

"Maybe I should go say hello to Ale—"

Sergei silenced him with an angry, fierce kiss. He kissed the omega like he was starving and was done trying to be a proper man.

"Don’t push it... Moy lyubim," Sergei warned when he pulled back briefly from the kiss.

And Katya...

The omega giggled.

Sergei didn’t wait for an invite because he pressed their lips again, eating Katya’s mouth out like he was marking his territory. Like everything was damned, and he didn’t give two shits about it right now.

Katya didn’t even try to stop him, if anything the omega kissed him right back with the same intensity, even as Sergei’s free hand held him by the neck and pulled him so close that he was nearly suffocating.

But that didn’t matter because Sergei Moskowsky was kissing the living shit out of him. Exploring his mouth like a darn researcher and fuck if Katya’s knees didn’t go weak by the second minute.

Sergei didn’t let go.

Not the pinned hands above Katya’s head.

Not the neck he was holding onto.

And when he felt Katya nearly slipping from his hold, the alpha spread Katya’s legs with his knees, making the omega’s scent sweeten even more.

The citrus scent was getting too syrupy, and Sergei had to remind himself that the omega wasn’t in his right mind, so he tried to pull back, to let go, but Katya didn’t let him.

He bit Sergei’s lip instead, forcing a deep groan out of Sergei’s throat.

"Little wolf..." Sergei growled in warning, but it all seemed to go past Katya ahead because the omega pulled himself from the wall, determined to keep as little distance between Sergei and him as possible.

"If you think of kissing Aleksandr again... I’ll kill him for sport," Sergei warned lowly, rubbing Katya’s lips with his thumb.

Katya felt jelly. He didn’t trust his legs or even his body anymore. It was as if the barbarian had kissed the life out of him, fuck.

"Oh, yeah? Why shouldn’t I when you have Irina?" Katya said defiantly, and Sergei let out a soft chuckle.

"Careful, my beautiful Solnyshka," Sergei said, like he didn’t trust himself to say anything other than that.

"And why should I, when you were already leaving?" Katya snorted.

"You’re angry and hurt..."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it. You can go to her... The perfect Irina. Your preferred age, I suppose? Won’t have you thinking twice?"

"What?"

"The one Frolo loves. The perfect girlfriend and would make a perfect wife. You guys did look beautiful together," Katya laughed humorlessly.

"You’re such a brat," Sergei groaned, pulling Katya close by the waist, their bodies fully pressing against each other.

For a moment, Katya froze, looking between their bodies, as if he had just discovered something that he shouldn’t have.

Oh.

OH.

Uhh... Oh.

And his cheeks turned red, making the alpha smirk at him.

Sergei knew why.

"Still want me to go?" Sergei teased.

Katya whined needily, before pulling himself up and wrapping his legs around Sergei’s waist.

The alpha froze.
