Chapter 384: Chapter 227: Gifting Yixia the Most Expensive Villa Complex in Yangcheng! Silu and Sifan Will Have Theirs Too

Lu Fan shook his hand but didn’t say anything.

Jiali got out of the car behind them, a tablet in her hand. She walked quickly to Lu Fan’s side and said in a low voice, "Boss, all the information is here. These three have the best overall evaluations. Their location, orientation, and privacy are second to none in the entire villa complex."

Lu Fan nodded, took the tablet, and flipped through it. Then he said to Manager Sun, "Show me around."

Manager Sun nodded eagerly, bowing even lower. The smile on his face was practically overflowing. "Of course, of course. This way, President Lu. Our Jade Bay is the most high-end villa complex in Yangcheng—bar none."

"The entire project covers four hundred mu, with a greening rate of sixty-five percent and a plot ratio of only 0.3. Each villa is independently designed, offering excellent privacy. The owners are all leading figures from various industries."

As he spoke, he led the way, his steps quick and steady, as if afraid of falling half a step behind.

Behind them, a dozen or so property consultants followed in two neat columns, a grand procession.

Some held folders, some held floor plans, some held laser distance measurers, and still others cradled bouquets of fresh flowers and bottles of mineral water, ready to hand them over at a moment’s notice.

Lu Fan walked in front with Jiali at his side, while Manager Sun led the way.

The group passed through a tree-lined avenue. French plane trees, with their thick trunks and dense foliage, grew on both sides. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting mottled patterns of light and shadow on the ground.

Manager Sun continued his introduction as they walked, his voice so enthusiastic it sounded like he was reciting an advertisement. "President Lu, Jade Bay is blessed with a unique location. It’s backed by Phoenix Mountain and faces Crescent Lake, giving it excellent feng shui."

"The entire community uses a pedestrian-vehicle separation design. The underground garage provides direct access to the homes, ensuring excellent privacy."

"The property management is a top-tier international team offering twenty-four-hour butler service. Any request from a resident is answered within five minutes."

Lu Fan waved a dismissive hand, his tone flat. "No need for the introduction. I’ve read the materials. Let’s just see the house."

"Of course, of course. This way, President Lu," Manager Sun quickly replied.

The first villa was situated halfway up the mountain. It was a three-story, new Chinese-style building with gray tiles and white walls. A few osmanthus trees and a pomegranate tree were planted in the yard.

Inside the entrance was a huge living room with floor-to-ceiling windows facing Crescent Lake. The lake’s surface shimmered, and in the distance, the silhouette of Phoenix Mountain was visible.

The basement had a wine cellar and an audio-visual room. The third floor featured a terrace with rattan chairs and a parasol, offering a panoramic view of the entire villa complex.

Lu Fan stood on the terrace for a moment, his brow furrowed slightly.

He asked Manager Sun, "What’s that plot of land next door for?"

Manager Sun was taken aback for a second before quickly answering, "That’s the land for phase two of the project. Construction will start next spring and will take about two and a half years."

Lu Fan shook his head, his voice even. "Too noisy. My wife is a light sleeper. The construction will disturb her rest. Next one."

Manager Sun’s heart sank, but he didn’t dare let any of his disappointment show on his face. He quickly replied, "Of course, of course. This way, President Lu."

The second villa was at the foot of the mountain, closer to the lake. The yard had a small private swimming pool, its sparkling blue water reflecting the sky.

The interior was decorated in a minimalist style, with clean, sharp lines. Large floor-to-ceiling windows made the whole house feel transparent and bright.

Lu Fan did a tour of the house and then stood on the second-floor balcony. Looking at the adjacent property, he asked Manager Sun, "Has the one next door been sold?"

"That one has already been sold. The owner is a businessman from Hong Kong who moved in last year," Manager Sun replied hastily.

Lu Fan said nothing, pacing back and forth a few times on the balcony.

’He had originally planned to buy two adjacent houses—one for Jiang Yixia and one for himself.’

’That way, even if she hadn’t forgiven him, he could be her neighbor and they’d see each other all the time.’

’He knew her too well. She was sharp-tongued but soft-hearted. If he was always around, how could she possibly ignore him?’

’Besides, if the day ever came when she was willing to accept this villa, she would have surely forgiven him long before then.’

’As for the house next door, it would be a case of good things coming in pairs.’

’In the future, if Sifan and Silu were willing to acknowledge him as their father, he would prepare a house for each of them too.’

’Money was just a number to him. If it could be exchanged for a family reunion, it would be absolutely worth it.’

’But the house next door was already sold. They wouldn’t be adjacent, so there was no point in buying it.’

He shook his head and said, "Let’s keep looking."

Manager Sun’s heart leaped into his throat again, but he kept a smile plastered on his face. He said quickly, "Of course, of course. President Lu, the third house is on the island in the middle of the lake. It’s the best location in all of Jade Bay."

The third villa was located on a small island in the center of Crescent Lake, connected to the outside world by a single bridge.

The bridge was a stone arch, with water gurgling gently beneath it. Several weeping willows were planted at the head of the bridge, their branches swaying lightly in the wind.

After crossing the bridge and pushing open the courtyard gate, Lu Fan paused.

The courtyard was large, paved with bluestone slabs. A grove of green bamboo grew in a corner, rustling when the wind blew.

An old osmanthus tree stood in the center of the yard. Its trunk was so thick it would take one person’s full embrace to circle it. Its branches and leaves shaded more than half the courtyard, and sunlight trickled through the gaps, creating golden patches on the ground.

Beneath the tree was a stone table and two stone chairs, with a chessboard carved into the tabletop.

Lu Fan stood in the courtyard for a while. The wind blew past, carrying the fragrance of osmanthus.

’He remembered that Jiang Yixia loved osmanthus. There used to be an osmanthus tree at the old factory, and when it bloomed, its sweet scent filled the entire yard.’

He went inside the house.

The first floor held the living and dining rooms. The floor was made of light gray stone, the walls were a warm white, and the furniture was a natural wood color, creating a simple yet warm atmosphere.
