Chapter 505: Chapter 503:“Important Stuff.”

"... Then I guess we’ll be taking our leave then, Your Majesty. It was an honor to have been in your presence." The elderly man that had come together greeted with cupped hands as he pulled the silent Wu Zhen away, their figures retreating towards the still-destroyed doors.

I merely watched the audience take their leaves as I fondled Nyssara, much to her dismay, but I couldn’t be bothered.

The meeting at some point had become a bunch of wussies trying not to shit their pants in front of the emperor and his clearly friendly group of thugs (us), which kind of killed the whole excitement I’d had coming.

It was even worse since Wu Zhen hadn’t bothered saying anything else since he got put through a wall by Paku. The man just stood there, eyes bloodshot in silence, as he didn’t even bother to hide his killing intent—something that made me have to work hard to keep Shulvan from erasing the man multiple times over.

Luckily, the whole charade had come to an end, and now the throne room was closing out.

"Mmph~~ sto... stop that! They’ll see us." Nyssara whispered, trying once again to reason with me, but,

"Meh, who cares? Let them see. It’s not like I have anything to hide. I’m just loving on my woman; the single fuckers can go suck a duck for all I care." I could well and clearly feel the dissatisfied gazes of Malachi and the others on my back, but I couldn’t care less what they thought as I pulled Nyssara even closer to my body, letting my idle right hand slip in to cup her other generous breast.

"Ahh.. to think I actually love a pervert." Shaia.

"Husband is just... I can’t even." Terra.

"And this is why I always say you ladies have something wrong with your heads, because why would you find this pervert attractive?" Sana.

"Ahh... so jealous, I wonder if I should switch places." Elira.

I merely chuckled at the girls’ interactions.

"Sana, my dear. The day I have you pinned beneath me, I’ll be sure to play all these words back to you."ℯℯ𝑙.

"Bas... bastard! Who... who’s going to let you pin her down and rough her up? Take her from the back? Fold her in so many different positions that her head would go blank from the overwhelming pleasure till she loses all inhibition?"

...

...

"Wow..." Shaia.

"Uhh... Sana, are we missing something?" Elira.

"I knew the envious bimbo was a camouflaging snake all this while. So these are the things going through your head?" Terra.

"Ahh... Ahh... AHHHHHHH!!!" Sana’s terrified scream sent the girls hollering, as even I myself couldn’t help chuckling out loud.

"Are... are you talking to those women again? Can I hear? I’ve met Elira and Terra, but I haven’t seen the other two and your other women yet. What... what if the others don’t like me?" Nyssara’s unsure voice snapped me from my internal conversation as I merely laughed off her worries.

"Worry not. I’ll be sure to involve all you ladies in this little group chat soon, but I’ll need to improve your bloodlines first before that. As for if the other girls will like you? Don’t worry, they’ll love you. I might get chewed out, but you’ll definitely be fine." I assured the nervous beauty with a small smile and a firm squeeze.

"Mmmhh~~ you.. you could make your point without having to do that."

"I know, but where’s the fun in that..." I laughed, about to continue teasing my lovely princess, but,

"Lin Xuan." A cold voice cut through our little moment, as I couldn’t help but raise a curious eyebrow, my focus turning to the entrance where the voice had come from.

"Hmm?" It was Wu Zhen. The man had stopped right at the entrance of the throne room, his back still turned towards us as he spoke out once more,

"Lin Xuan. You feel good, don’t you?" The man had finally abandoned the false respect and begun calling the emperor by his name.

"You’ve embarrassed me. Ruined my image. Taken my dignity once again. You must feel pretty good about yourself, don’t you?"

The place went quiet as we listened to what the man had to say.

"I admit it, I was foolish to underestimate you. You schemed pretty deeply. Bringing in your friends from the outside? Acting out that elaborate play at the palace gates just to take out a grand elder from my sect? Acting like you didn’t know them before now?" The man kept listing out imaginary scenarios, and the more we listened, the more confused we became.

Friends from outside? Acting out a play? Does this fucker really think all that has happened till now was all an elaborate conspiracy?

"Well, considering how much you and Xuan over there seem to just gel and go with each other’s rhythm, I can understand his reasoning, since you two really act like you’ve known each other for multiple lifetimes. Just like you act with Malachi and the others, you’ve naturally incorporated Lin Xuan into that psychopathic circle too, and the man himself has just naturally gravitated into it." Shaia called to my attention the man’s reasoning.

Damn!

"Is that really how we come off to others? I thought this was normal?"

"""No, it’s not!"""

"You just beat up the man’s sister in front of his council while he did nothing. You sent the female away with a sadistic bastard and the man just said ’don’t break anything’. Does that sound like something a friend of a few days would do? So yes, I can understand where the man is coming from. Especially after you guys just robbed him of every ounce of dignity the man had."

"Well, damn." I hadn’t even thought about it that way, as I thought I was just being normal and friendly.

"Heh! You even had the mind to make them pose as disciples of my sect, just so you can get close to me and force my hand. Truly, what a despicable man you are, Lin Xuan, yet you hide behind the facade of an upright man."

It seems the sect master was truly hell-bent on believing his notion, huh?

"Well, congratulations, Xuan, you’ve won this round, and splendidly too at that." He clapped, the typical third-grade villain signature move.

"But allow me to say this," finally, the man gave a side glance towards our group, "this is far from over." He turned and started walking away as his final words reached us, "I hope you watch your back carefully."

WOOSH!

Both Wu Zhen and the elderly man vanished from the spot after reaching a far enough distance.

"Damn. What the hell was that bastard on about?" Malachi cussed loudly, obviously irritated that we had allowed the man a cool exit.

"Beats me. I’m more concerned that we let the man exit in such a cool manner. Now he’ll be feeling like some hot shit."

"Heh! I just thought that."

I shook my head at the coincidence as I looked toward the silent figure of Xuan. "I could get rid of him for you, you know. It won’t take much."

The man seemed to mull over the suggestion for a bit before ultimately shaking his head.

"There’s no need. Wu Zhen is no threat. I can remove him from the conversation at any given moment."

"And yet you don’t."

"His presence... it holds more significance than his strength ever could."

"I don’t get it," Malachi chimed in, scratching his head in confusion, "what could a weakling like that possibly hold over you? You have the power, exercise it. What’s with all this drawn-out nonsense you guys keep going on about?"

"Haa.. I wish it were that easy." Xuan let out a long breath as he laid back his head.

"Wu Zhen’s existence holds significance because of his family, the Shen family—an ancient family that has existed for as long as the High Planar Galaxies have. They were there during the reign of the first emperor, and had in fact helped him maintain order across these massive regions."

"They hold a sizable portion of power within these regions, as although I claim to have supreme authority, there are still parts where even I can only watch on helplessly, like the Spirit Ascension Sect."

"So, even in your own domain, you need to act with caution? That just sounds like excuses to me." Malachi wasn’t having it.

For a being that believes in strength and honor above all, and now the literal manifestation of pride, the concept of holding back and understanding consequences was something he could never understand.

"Haa... I wish it were that easy, Brother Malachi, I truly do." Xuan shook his head gently.

"Heh! Believe me, it IS that easy. The only thing holding that possibility back is a simple order." The monkey sneered.

"Hmmm? What do you mean by that?" Xuan asked, but the monkey merely shrugged, no longer interested in the conversation.

"Alright. Enough of talking about insignificant things, let’s get to the truly important stuff."

"Truly important stuff? Wasn’t the meeting the important thing?" Salazar asked, confused.

"This shit show? Of course not!"

"Then what exactly is your oh-so-serious issue?"

"Why, of course, I’m talking about the auction, the one to be held in two days’ time. Hehehehe... this young master is about to go on a splurging spree."

A/N: Of course. Your friends pending crisis is insignificant stuff compared to your need for genre exposure, Haa... typical. Oh well, as always,
