Chapter 475: Chapter 473:Wang Fang.

The shout of the little man seemed to have roused the audience once more as,

OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

They erupted in deafening cheers, their stun turning into sheer awe.

"Damn!!! So much for seeded candidates!"

"Bahahahahahahahaha!!! One hit and they were sent to kingdom come!!!"

"After all that posturing too!!"

The crowd was absolutely eating it up as they cheered for the guys.

Noticeably, both Malachi and Paku stood straighter as the two seemed to be competing for who was more popular.

I could only shake my head slowly as I finally made my way up onto stage number 1.

I didn’t bother with my opponent yet as I instead raised my head, eyes falling upon the wildly excited Lucien.

The little guy had made purple energy banners with the words "coolest big brother" on them as he cheered at the highest level his little voice could allow.

Naturally, his cheers were drowned out by the roaring crowd, but that would be to the ears of others; as to my own ears,

"YAYYYY!!! GO BIG BROTHER!! GO BIG BROTHER!! BEAT UP OTHER YOUNG MAN!! HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!"

Only one cheer could be heard loud and clear.

The struggling figures of Nyssara, Elira, and Terra as they tried to calm the overexcited kid down couldn’t help but make my smile widen even more, a feeling of warmth curling from within. But sadly,

"You should give up, commoner." I heard a very irritating voice that ruined my mood instantly.

Slowly, my smile disappeared as I brought my gaze down from the seats above and onto my waiting opponent.

White hair. Blue eyes. Robed in white with a sword at his waist.

I already didn’t like him; after all, I was the only one allowed to have white hair as a man in any setting.

"I shall not be merciful with my attacks if you carry on, so while I still am being merciful, you should step down." The boy still had the guts to repeat his earlier words.

Now, normally, this would be the moment where I turned him into yesterday’s news for his audacious words, but I wasn’t murderous Dante today—no, because today, I was someone else entirely.

"You... do you know who you’re talking to?" It was finally time to get into character as I put on the most obnoxious and haughty face I could pull off.

"Hmmm?" It seemed to have worked as my opponent slowly put away his arrogance, a serious expression appearing on his face.

"I am Young Master Wang Fang from the illustrious Wang Family of the East. You dare spew such audacity before me?"

A robe materialized over my body as I swept the sleeves dramatically, chin rising toward the heavens.

"My family’s ancestors shook the heavens, split the earth, and commanded countless sects to bow before their might!"

My finger pointed arrogantly toward the young man as I continued in the most insufferable tone possible,

"You are nothing more than an ant who has yet to comprehend the vastness of the world. Kneel now, apologize for your insolence, and perhaps this Young Master shall be magnanimous enough to spare your worthless life!"

"Yes!!! Nailed it!!" I had to give myself an internal shoulder pat as I watched the young man’s face contort. He was probably stunned at my great introduction.

"Good. Now, for the final—" I had barely gotten the thought in when all of a sudden,

"BASTARD!!!!!!!!!" Paku roared out in absolute fury.

"Ehh!?" Snapping out of my thoughts, I turned to see the furball giving me the most murderous stare one would give to only those who had killed their family.

"Oii!! Motherfucker!! What’s got you all worked up!?" I couldn’t help cursing back in frustration, hoping the noisy crowd would prevent the little man from hearing us.

"BITCH!!! FUCKING BASTARD!!! WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL YOURSELF, YOU MOTHERFUCKER??"

"What are you on about!? I’m LIN TIAN DOU, stop yelling!!!"

"BITCH!!! WEREN’T YOU WANG FANG JUST NOW!?"

"Ehh!?"

"AND WEREN’T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE LONG CHEN EVEN BEFORE THAT!?"

"Ehh!? Ehh!? I was!?"

"MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!"

My response seemed to only set the raging beast off even more as he began glowing a horrifying crimson.

"IT’S. ON. THE. FUCKING. LEADERBOARD!!!"

"Ehh!? It is?" I had to actually look at the leaderboard and there, written boldly:

100- Long Chen.

"Shit. What do you know. I guess I was too excited and sorta forgot my name. Well, it is what it is, I’m Zhao Yunlong now, I guess."

"BITCH!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS FANG!? WHO THE HELL IS ZHAO YUNLONG!?"

"Oii!! Furball!! What’s got you all fucked up!?"

"You!! You motherfucker got me all fucked up!! You can’t even keep track of your own stupid plot, yet you expect us to do so?! What sort of bullshit is that!?"

"Oiii!!! What do you think this is? Who do you think I am!? The rules are: do what I fucking say, not as I fucking do!"

"BITCH!!! THAT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE!!!"

Before I could reply to the raging, now-towering behemoth,

"You... you dare mock me!?" A scalding and threatening voice stopped me dead in my tracks.

"Hmmm? Now what the hell are you on about!?"

"You dare mock my name and family?" The young man grated, hair flailing in the wind.

"Mock your family?" Now it was my turn to be confused, because what the hell was—

"I... am Wang Fang, second young master of the ancient Wang Dynasty in the Eastern Domain. You dare mock me by claiming to be from my family?"

"Ehh!?"

"Huh!?" Paku.

"What!?" Leo.

"That can’t be true, right!?" Salazar.

"There’s no way such a coincidence is possible, right?" Malachi.

Even the others were stunned at the ridiculousness of it all.

A name I’d made up on the fly because I’d forgotten my other made-up name had turned out to be the true identity of my opponent?

"Nah... ain’t no way in hell are you really some Wang Fang from some bullshit Wang family. You’re definitely trolling me. You gotta be, because what the fuck!?"

"COURTING DEATH!!!" My words sent the young man into a full-blown spiral as his aura erupted outward, a suffocating pressure falling upon the stage.

"You shall pay for your foolishness with your life!!!" Letting out a thunderous roar, the young man launched himself into the air as he pulled out his sword, a sickening amount of law essence gathering around the blade.

The law itself was a unique one, as I could feel a similar aura to that of the youth’s within the law’s essence.

Turns out this young man was a bonafide law creator.

"WORLD-SHATTERING DRAGON EMPEROR HEAVENLY SWORD THRUST!"

The name of the attack might have been as ridiculous as they came, but the effects were anything but.

A ginormous white blade manifested within the skies of the coliseum as,

ROOOOOOOOOARRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

A heaven-shaking dragon’s roar thundered through the entire city, the phantom image of a pure white dragon coiling around the sword as the aura alone from the attack suppressed everything within its vicinity.

"DIEEEEEE!!!!!" Following the young man’s words, the attack plummeted like a literal judgment from the heavens.

I stood there, eyes wide in pure excitement as I revelled fully in the absurdity that was a totally nonsensical situation that escalated in the exact amount of brainlessness one would expect from such a scenario.

"Ahhh... this is the life." It truly was. Unfortunately,

"I can’t let you show off too much now, can I?"

With a single thought,

BAMF!!!

It was all... GONE.

The dragon, the suppression, the gigantic plummeting blade, everything was just GONE.

All that remained was a confused white-haired youth with a broken sword in his hands, eyes shaken and lost as he tried to make sense of what was happening. Sadly,

"You’ve outlived your usefulness."

BANG!

A casual backhanded slap turned the youth into nothing but blood mist as another wave of silence engulfed the entire coliseum.

"Ahh... truly refreshing." I couldn’t help sighing in satisfaction as I basked in the crowd’s stunned awe, my eyes glancing toward the higher levels where the woman, Lin Luo Yao, was watching the ongoing events from.

I could feel her shock even from this far out. But if there was one thing I knew well enough, it was the inability of such people to understand just what it is they were dealing with. But,

"That’s good; otherwise, how else would I have anything fun to do?" I fought back the smile that threatened to break out on my face, but it was to no avail as,

"YAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!" The smile appeared nonetheless the moment I heard the deafening cheer of one excited little man.

"Guess I do have one impressionable supporter after all."

********

A/N: I don’t know if I should be worried about the fact that Lucien doesn’t seem the least bit put off by Dante casually slapping someone into oblivion. The kid is either way too cheerful, or has some screws loose too. For my own sanity, I’ll pick cheerful, anyways as always,
