Blood Primordial: Start With S-Rank Blood Dragon Bloodline
Chapter 55: Hell Crimson Spear
The moment his blood fell on the red spear, it made a sizzling sound like it was burning. But it didn’t do much, so he didn’t stop; since it reacted to his blood, he would give it more.
He didn’t stop and cut again the almost already healed palm.
"Ah, it hurts." He said, feeling the pain. More drops of blood fell onto it, and it started to sizzle and absorb the blood. Seeing this, eyes glowed, and he continued to feed it more blood.
It continued; he almost bled a litre of blood. Although because of his bloodline he had seven or eight times more blood, it was still a surprise, as ordinary bloodline awakeners would bleed to death by this red spear.
After more than a litre of blood, the spear absorbed the crimson markings and suddenly reacted.
Finally—
Boom!
The marking on the spear started to burn with crimson flames, and immediately these flames seemed to latch on him.
"Ahhh!" He was caught by surprise and immediately roared in pain. These flames seemed to burn his skin quickly.
The intensity of these flames was completely different from ordinary flames, as they seemed to bring a hundred times more extensive burning sensation than usual flames, like they were meant to torture, like the flames that burn in hell.
He felt not only his body but his soul and mind burning, and the pain was so intense that he had never felt it before.
Stella, standing there, was shocked; her expression became tense. "Master!... Master..."
But she could not do anything and watched as Max started to roll on the ground, screaming in pain and agony.
The crimson flames slowly started to gather in Max’s right arm, and then they seemed to turn into the shapes of different symbols similar to the ones on the spear.
And then those flames turned into tattoos like markings and disappeared in front of them.
The pain also disappeared, and he finally stopped rolling on the ground and slowly stood up, feeling a bit afraid.
The pain was really unbelievable; even when he nearly died by the second-grade beast, he didn’t feel like this. To be exact, it cannot be compared at all; the pain he felt was hundreds of times more than that.
"Master, are you alright?" Stella came close to him and said with concern.
Max couldn’t help but feel a bit weird seeing her showing such concern, but he nodded. "I am alright."
After saying that, he looked at the markings on his right hand, covering almost his entire right arm. Although it looked cool, he didn’t feel very happy seeing this.
After all, who knows what these markings represent? This spear could be a cursed weapon, and the person who tried to use it would be cursed or something else.
These markings were weird, but five distinct crimson circular marks went up to his upper arms.
After feeling no different, he then picked the spear once again.
The moment he touched it, he felt a terrifying pull from the spear, and the marking on his arm started to glow with crimson light.
"Not again!" He cursed, but he quickly noticed this time he didn’t feel any pain, and after glowing for a moment, the markings seemed to return to normal, and immediately he felt a mysterious connection with the spear.
Along with it, new information appeared in his mind. He remained silent for a few seconds. Stella remained silent and quietly watched as Max’s aura, along with the spear, seemed to change a bit.
"Haha! This is it," he laughed suddenly and broke the silence.
He succeeded and was able to form a contract through the blood ritual. He finally knew the name of this spear, ’Hell Crimson’.
Hell Crimson was an unbelievable treasure.
Although Max still didn’t know what level of Spiritual Treasure it was, its power was clearly terrifying.
It actually possessed five abilities, represented by the five crimson circular markings on his arm. But right now, he could only use one ability.
"Step back a little." He said to Stella, who quickly moved a bit.
Boom!
And then immediately his aura changed, and one of the five markings on his hand started to glow with crimson light. Crimson flames appeared on the spear and covered the entire spear, making it look like a divine and a demonic weapon at the same time.
He held the spear with ease and didn’t seem to be burnt by the crimson flames. He looked at the spear with excitement, as this was the Hell Crimson Spear’s first ability, ’Hell Flames!’
These Hell Flames were terrifying flames that could burn everything in their path, even the souls and spiritual power of spirit awakeners. Anyone struck by Hell Flames would experience unimaginable pain and torment. The agony could destroy their mind before the flames even finished killing them.
This was the first ability, and it was already this terrifying; he couldn’t help but wonder what the other four terrifying abilities it would have. But to awaken the other abilities, he needed to become a transformation realm expert.
The flames disappeared, and the Hell Crimson Spear returned to normal. He looked at the spear and felt he had found something beyond his expectations. He was sure that this level of treasure was beyond the level of transformation realm experts, and he somehow got it.
He could accept one fortunate coincidence.
But if such coincidences continued happening one after another, something was clearly wrong.
His entire journey seemed to be moving according to an invisible path, as though someone were deliberately pushing him in a particular direction.
It almost felt as if he were a pawn dancing on someone else’s chessboard.
But he quickly calmed down; he was too weak, and it was too early to say anything. He anyway had to follow the path, and only at the end would he know who was truly the pawn—and who was the player.
After this, he looked at the boots and tried the same blood ritual. He expected another big eater, but it only needed a drop of blood, and he formed a contract with ease without any more drama.
He quickly learnt its name, ’Sky Boots’, and it had a single ability: flight.
