Blood Primordial: Start With S-Rank Blood Dragon Bloodline
Chapter 47: Shining Brilliance Vs Blood Explosion
"Max smiled coldly. "You from the Silverblade family are really all the same. Do you really believe you are something, but to me you all looked like pretentious trash who can only suppress the weak?"
Hearing this, the bloodline awakener from the Silverblade family’s face fell and became cold, as lately there had been rumours going around that the Silverblade family lost its honour and pride of true swordsmen family and had become a low-level thug family.
This rumour had already become a thorn for the Silverblade family, but what they didn’t understand was that reacting to it and becoming more aggressive only made it seem true and made them appear more narrow-minded.
Max calmly stood up, and the wound on his shoulder had already stopped bleeding. He still felt a sting-like pain, but it was acceptable.
He looked at the Silveblade family’s bloodline awakener. He looked like he was in his twenties and had the same cocky aura around him. But he needed to be careful, as the silver blade aura is really something.
His physique, he believed, already surpassed most bloodline awakeners after all the battles and drinking the middle-grade potion, and only awakeners with defensive bloodlines like the Blackthorn family can come close to him in defence, and yet the sneak attack of this guy was almost successful.
The famous silver blade energy truly lived up to its name; it is fast and deadly. He held his spear tightly and became ready for the battle.
Behind them, the woman quietly glanced between the two men.
Seeing that a battle was about to erupt, she immediately turned and ran, leaving the two Bloodline Awakeners alone inside the strange sexual pleasure chamber.
"Tch, your skin is quite tough. But let’s see how many times you can take on my sword." The Silverblade bloodline awakener said coldly and drew his sword. The moment the sword left its sheath, a dazzling silver aura began to spread across its surface.
Both sides became serious and glanced at each other, slowly circling with no one making the first move.
Silverblade bloodline awakener, seemed not to wait anymore and broke the silence and made the first move.
Whoosh!
Several razor-sharp arcs of silver energy shot toward Max.
Scch! Scch!...
They came flying towards him at high speed, but Max now wasn’t an amateur anymore. He moved his spear like an extension of his arms and deflected those silver-blade energy slashes.
Clang! Clang!
He deflected the incoming silver energy blades one after another.
However, his expression soon changed. The moment his spear collided with the silver energy, he noticed something unusual.
The silver aura was actually damaging his spear. Tiny cracks had already appeared along the shaft and blade.
Seeing this immediately, he knew his spear wouldn’t last if he was defensive; he needed to attack. So, without wasting any moment, he dashed forward.
He was so fast that even for bloodline awakeners he would appear to be a blur of shadow. He in a fraction of a second crossed the distance between them, surprising even the Silverblade bloodline awakener.
But the Silverblade bloodline not only excels in sharp energy attacks but also in superior senses and mastery of the sword.
He quickly adjusted himself and took the Silverblade family’s sword stance and then clashed with the incoming spear of Max.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
They quickly exchanged multiple strikes, creating sparks and destroying the weird furniture, beds and various items within the room. The more they clashed, the more both felt surprised by each other.
Max was surprised to see the elegant yet magnificently sharp swordsmanship of the Silverblade family, whereas the Silverblade family’s warrior was surprised by the raw power and speed of Max.
What surprised him most was the murderous aura contained within every one of Max’s spear strikes.
It was as if Max wasn’t fighting with a spear. He was fighting with the instinct of a predator.
Both were surprised by the complete opposite fighting approach of each other.
One relied on refined technique, precision, and mastery of the sword.
The other relied on overwhelming physical strength, speed, instinct, and a terrifying killing intent.
They appeared to be at the same level, but it wasn’t, as Max didn’t use his trump card, the Blood Control ability.
Max’s spear was about to break as it could not handle the silver blade aura, so he was ready to end this battle. This battle also let him gauge his normal melee ability, which had improved unbelievably, not being his weakness.
He was now sure that at least among the bloodline awakeners level there shouldn’t be many that can defeat him in the southern region of the State of Silver. And he could proudly venture out with confidence.
Silverblade bloodline awakener’s expression had also become increasingly grave. He had never expected Max to be this strong.
He had heard about Max’s astonishing endurance during these three-day beast tides, but he had assumed it was mostly because of Max’s powerful physical body.
After all, beasts often relied on brute strength and endurance.
He had never imagined that Max would be equally terrifying in an actual battle against another Bloodline Awakener.
Although Max’s spear technique was clearly inferior to the refined techniques of the Silverblade Family, his terrifying strength and speed more than compensated for his lack of mastery, and along with the terrifying momentum filled with killing intent, made him a terrifying enemy.
His mind was now filled with killing intent; he had to kill this commoner, otherwise he might become trouble for their family.
Both sides made up their minds to end this battle, and both of their auras seemed to become heavy.
Max used his blood control to boost himself first as he started to gather blood energy in his left-hand fingers.
He dashed faster than before and even shocked the Silverblade warrior, but he was ready to end this battle and used the Silverblade family’s secret sword technique.
"Shining Brilliance!"
His sword shone like a star and slashed forward.
Sch!
A very powerful silver blade aura burst out, many times stronger than before; even Max felt that if it hit him, it would be his end.
But only if it hit him, the Silverblade bloodline awakener was fast, but he was faster, as he was one step faster.
He had already raised his left hand. His fingers pointed directly at the approaching sword.
The blood energy gathered between his fingers compressed to its limit.
Max’s eyes became cold.
"Die."
"Blood Explosion!"
Bang!
