Chapter 275: Baby SeoJun the alien boy princess

Seoha’s POV

Oh Seo-Jun.

That’s such a beautiful name for the little boy we fought for.

"Ughh, don’t cry or I’ll have them kick you out" Minjae says dramatically as he rolls his eyes at me and I can’t help but laugh even though tears are streaming down my face.

I missed him so much.

"Can I see him?" I ask softly and Minjae sighs, "not yet, there’s a visiting time, but oh gosh, Seo-ya number one, he was so ugly during his first hour!" he says with so much enthusiasm that my jaw drops.

"Oh Minjae!" I yell with disbelief.

"No, hear me out. He was crying so loud and was covered in those weird things" he explains with more excitement.

"Stop saying crazy things" I laugh and cover my ears to stop him, but he keeps on talking. He even goes as far as taking my hands off my ears to make me listen.

"Stop" my stomach starts to hurt from how hard I’m laughing at him, seriously, how does he still have his strength?

"You have to listen to me; I’m training you to be ready for motherhood" he says and continues to talk.

"Minjae, let me go! I don’t want to hear all of that" I say dramatically and he sticks his tongue out at me.

When we’re together, I feel free to act and live like a youth. This is the effect he has on me.

"So, as I was saying, Seojun was really weird looking but after he was cleaned up...Seoha, he is the most precious looking alien ever!"

"Alien?" I repeat.

"Alien" he confirms.

"I’m ready to go home now" I sigh in defeat, but Minjae hugs me to himself and holds me tightly.

"I haven’t told you about the pushing part" he says.

"I’ll throw up" I warn and we both fall into a fit of giggle. We laugh so hard that tears start to stream down our faces.

The door swings open but we keep laughing, entertained by each other.

"Uncle Junnie...are they okay?" Sooin asks, I look back to find her in Junho’s arms, he’s holding her to his chest like the most precious like treasure.

"They are okay, Sooinie, they just miss each other" Junho says before he puts Sooin down.

My little girl runs over to Minjae with a smile on her face and I move out of the way for her to give him a hug.

"Uncle Minnie, where is your baby?" Sooin asks while looking at his stomach, and Minjae ruffles her hair with a grin.

"My baby is sleeping in another room" he says and Sooin squeals.

"Is he cute?" Sooin asks and Minjae gives me a devious look, "he’s the cutest baby" I respond before my friend would say something unhinged.

I don’t trust him.

"Woah! Uncle Minnie, can I name your baby, please? Please please please" Sooin starts to hop and I shake my head.

"Aww, sorry Innie, we already named him, but you can give him a nickname" Minjae says and Sooin gasps.

"What’s a nickname?"

"A nickname is another name you can call the baby, like the way your dad calls you princess" I explain to her.

"I’ll call the baby princess too!" Sooin says.

"He’s a boy" I whisper to her.

"Boy princess!" Sooin announces.

"Approved" Minjae says with a nod.

"No" I interrupt a beat too late.

"He’s my son, anything SooSoo says is law" Minjae teases and I sigh in defeat again.

I really really do miss Minjae and his silly personality. This man keeps saying the silliest things, and yet, I love him the most.

Sooin climbs into the bed and cuddles up to Minjae, and I sit on the chair next to them.

Junho looks at us once to be sure we’re safe before he leaves the room.

He’s still wearing the clothes from the night Minjae went into labor, the beta hasn’t visited home to change.

"How are you?" I ask Minjae, and he looks up from Sooin’s face.

He’s running his fingers through her hair, and the little girl in turn is running her fingers through his hair even though she’s slowly falling asleep.

"I’m fine, I’m getting better each time they tell me my son is okay" he says and I breathe a sigh of relief.

"I’m glad, I’m so proud of you, Minnie, I know it wasn’t easy" I say softly and he nods.

"It wasn’t. I looked at my baby at some point and thought of Seungmin because his son is here and he didn’t get to see him" Minjae’s voice is soft as he says those words.

I hold his hand between my palms and squeeze it gently.

"I’m not sad, I’m just grateful" he says with a small smile, and I wouldn’t have believed in that smile if his eyes weren’t soft with happiness.

"And Junho?" I ask about the beta who has been by his side.

"I think I love him" Minjae whispers and looks at Sooin.

The little girl is already napping by his side, and as always, her mouth is open and her eyes are half open.

"You think?" I ask.

"I don’t know...what if I’m feeling this way just because he has been here with me for so long?" he asks and makes a wincing expression.

"Don’t do that to yourself Minnie, if you love him, then you love him" I tell him softly and he groans dramatically.

This man, I knew he was going to turn this situation into a joke again.

"I’m scared, ugh, how many times are we going to have this same conversation?" he says and covers his face.

"Yah, you’re a mom now. You’re not allowed to hold back feelings, what if you breastfeed your baby some sadness?" I ask with genuine worry.

"That’s not how it works" he laughs and I pout at him.

"It is!"

"Stop bugging me, tell me about you and Taesan" he says, wiggling his brows at me, and I lift my hand to show him my ring.

The engagement ring that I’ve been wearing carefully so it doesn’t slip off my smaller fingers.

"Seoha! I will be your best man" he claps quietly and I cover my mouth to keep my laughter in.

"Of course you will" I grin, and my phone dings with a notification.

I check the screen and my chest tightens as I see what’s waiting there for me. It’s a text message from Taesan.
