In July, Cheng Su sent most of her luggage to Guangcheng. Her uncle and brother will be there to help her receive it, while Zhan Qin keeps urging her to go over, as there are many business matters in the company that need handling.

As for Joy Soon Loy Restaurant, Li Dan has been appointed as the rear manager, overseeing the logistics department, while other managers will handle the floor operations. Before leaving, Cheng Su called Hualing back and invited Chunhua and the others. They booked a room at the restaurant for a gathering.

Hualing doesn’t live in Qing City, and she arrived a bit late.

"My goodness, why have you gained so much weight? Is Chen Shouwang feeding you pig food or have you eaten swelling powder? Look at how round you’ve become!" Chunhua exclaimed when she saw Hualing.

Hualing glared at her, "It’s been ages, and you still can’t say anything nice, can you?"

While speaking, she put down her bag and greeted Guiying and Cheng Su.

"I’m just being honest!" Chunhua said, "If you don’t believe me, ask Guiying and Cheng Su."

Guiying covered her mouth, laughing.

"Just let her off this time." Cheng Su smiled, pouring a cup of tea for Hualing, teasingly, "Keep talking, and she might storm out in anger."

Chunhua giggled, "Hualing isn’t that petty, right?"

"Sorry, I am that petty!" Hualing pretended to be angry, but her face showed no irritation.

"I’ll use tea instead of wine to apologize to you!" Chunhua raised her teacup, toasting her.

Hualing laughed.

Cheng Su looked at her seeing her rosy complexion and a round face, and said, "Seems like life is treating you well, indeed you’re looking fuller!"

"I knew you were one to never let others off easily, you haven’t changed at all!" Hualing jabbed her, saying, "Life is okay, just the usual! No point in saying I’ve changed; all of you have changed quite a bit too, Chunhua, don’t talk about me, you’re rounder now too."

"I’ve been eating more meat!" Chunhua replied.

Hualing then looked at Cheng Su, "But you, already a mom, why haven’t you gained weight? That’s a bit much, isn’t it!" Her tone carried a hint of envy, but unlike before, it didn’t make others feel malice or displeasure.

"Cheng Su has become a longing wife, missing her husband so much she slimmed down!" Chunhua teased with a smile.

Hualing made a questioning sound, a question mark in her eyes.

"Qi Taiguo went on Aid Africa!" Cheng Su said helplessly, "He left right after New Year and hasn’t returned yet!"

"No wonder, so the yin and yang are out of balance!" Hualing laughed heartily.

"Oh, stop it! Drink your tea!"

Guiying chuckled secretly, "Sister Hualing has become naughty, even knows how to talk dirty now!"

Cheng Su and Chunhua agreed deeply; in the two years they hadn’t seen her, Hualing had become much more open-minded. Although she had become rounder than before, that roundness signified good fortune, making her appearance seem less sharp and harsh, making her more pleasant.

"It’s not that I’ve become bad; I’ve just become open. Whatever feels comfortable is the way to go." Hualing sighed, "The kids are already a few years old, why bother with those superficial things?"

Cheng Su heard the hint of melancholy, saying, "No matter the kids’ age or ours, always remember, the most important is to live comfortably and happily, keep a young heart."

"Cheng Su always has wise words. It’s a pity you’re leaving too; we all have to part ways!" Chunhua sighed.
