Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Meeting Angel

Morgans head rang like a bell, his vision blurry, and he’s hardly breathing.

"Are you okay?"

Was the first sentence Morgan heard as he regain consciousness, luckily Devil used his earth power to shield them from the explosion. The only ones who are blown away was Shei and Juda who were now scrambling up from the dirt.

When Morgan turned around, he saw the blown body of poor Leo, his head and innerds completely dranched Morgan

BLERGH !!

Morgan started vomiting. The sight of blood and innerds made made him vomited. Devil gently carried him up,

"Let’s go. This place is not safe anymore."

The explosion was severe, some of the horses where actually blown away, so he nd devil rode together, while Shei, limped her way back.

As they rode, Morgan looked at Devil’s leg which was starting to turn purple, the poison was already spreading.

"Are you gonna be ...okay? The poison–"

" Am gonna be fine, it’s no biggie."

Said Devil casually. After riding for some time, the mountain started to come to sight.

Meanwhile deep in the Capital, The angel, along with other five Good deeders who is just by looking at them you’ll know they are powerful beings. They where all lined up in front of an elderly looking man, he was seated on his chair, with a suffisticated suit and elegance , they are at the very top of a building and behind them is a vast glass. And besides that seated man is his assistant, standing beside him like a loyal dog. In his presence, all the other good deeders feel like kids, but not Angel, he is looking directly at the man.

"Angel." Said the seated man on his chair. " You need to bring more deeders with you. It is so reckless to go on beyond the wall without backups, even for the top 2."

"Well, commissioner. I don’t intend to remain as top 2, I want to surpassed that Barbarian and be the top 1, and for that I need to build my power. Alone."

"But even so-"

"Do you not trust me. Commissioner?"

"I do...But-" the commissioner hesited." We can’t afford to lose you..."

" Aw, you care about me. How satisfying it is to know–"

" You will talk to the head of the safety Commission with Respect!" Said the his secretary, her voice can make people kneel in fear.

" You old hag!" Said angel smiling evily.

" I dare you to say that again .. Chicken"

Now she walked towards angel, demonic aura steaming from her.

" Oh. You retched witch." Now angel is also stepping forward.

They are now facing each other directly, there aura suffocating the very building.

"ENOUGH! "

Said Commissioner. " Agness. Stop." And with that, Agness glared at the angel before her walking back to the side of the commissioner.

"Since you insisted, I’ll be taking Duplica, and that’s final." With that, Angel walked out of the room without turning back.

"I’ll be seeing you around... HERETIC." Said angle as he glance one last time at Agness.

"I hate him....." said Agness with pure hatred in her eyes.

" The strongest people often have the foulest personality, and angel is no exception. He believes himself above everyone else, and in fact he is right, he is above everyone. That’s the rule of strength and power."

Morgan and his group later on arrive to the shelter, but by then, Devil was already dizzy, the poison has already taken roots within him.

" What happened?" Asked Liues as dhe follows the guards that lift Devil up and take him to his room,

" We’ve been attacked by a good deeder"

Said Juda. Liues didn’t even bother to ask more, instead after devil was laid on his bed and attended to, Liues came and sat by his side, she gently held his hands.

" Don’t die....please don’t..."

Despite the injuries and being weak at the moment, devil mustered up a tired smile

"Don’t worry...I’ll be fine, but in return promise me you’ll do what you said you would."

" You pervert...." Said Liues smiling.

Suddenly, just as they where staring each other in the eyes, they heard a loud

BOMM!!!

The entire stone village shook violently, as if it would collapsed at any moment,

"What’s happening?" Asked devil as he tried to stand up, but Liues stopped him.

"Your injuries are still fresh..."

" But I need to find out what’s happening.."

Suddenly the door opened and Shei walked in.

" Devil, there here...."
