"Let the chaotic beasts come," Aiden said.

Vanity was shocked.

He was thinking the Lodgekeeper would go out and deal with the chaotic beasts.

Instead, the man wanted them to come here.

"Well, our fate is literally in the hands of this man. However he wants to handle the situation is up to him," he thought.

"Noted, senior," Vanity said. "Do you need any team for assistance?"

"Not really," Aiden replied.

"We will alert you when they are almost here," Vanity said. "Senior, is there anything this junior can offer you for helping us?"

"Do you know anywhere in MadCity where I can get an identity forged?" Aiden asked.

"I knew someone in the past by the name, Dickinson. However, he got framed by a couple of people in MadCity and he’s now rotting in prison," Vanity said. "I’m afraid that in the surrounding cities and towns, I don’t know of anyone who was skilled as Dickinson. Sorry, senior."

"No problem. It’s fine," Aiden replied.

"Then, I will be taking my leave. Is senior sure he doesn’t need anything else?" Vanity asked. He did not want to be ungrateful to the senior and offend him.

This man was a madman who could kill people without moving a muscle after all.

"Not really. You may leave," Aiden replied.

"Yes," Vanity nodded reverentially and headed towards the door. He left to execute Aiden’s orders.

"Dickinson, huh. Looks like the fellow who is resting in the lodge might have a connection to this person the town lord is talking about. I should speak to him for more information," Aiden thought.

Just when he was about to head up and knock on Dickinson’s door, someone stepped out the elevator.

It was Dickinson. The moment he saw the lodgekeeper seated on the couch, his eyes gleamed with determination.

"Senior..." He greeted the lodgekeeper politely.

The lodgekeeper nodded.

Dickinson sat down. He knew offending this man would not be a good thing. If he said anything stupid, he might even die before he even knew how he died. So, he decided to choose his words carefully.

"Senior, please, do you have any plans of leaving Rustwater town?" he asked.

Aiden was quite taken aback. However, no expression appeared on his face.

"Well, that was unexpected. Based on what Vanity said, it’s obvious this person probably wants to strike some sort of deal with me. He must probably want me to help him release his father from the MadCity prison, who is most likely the person who can help me forge a fake identity. Let’s hear what he has to say first," Aiden thought.

"I’m joining the MadCity enforcers transport next month. What’s up?" Aiden asked.

"Senior, my parents used to be the district lords of MadCity’s western district. Not only that, my father specialized in smuggling goods and helping people forge fake identities to cross international borders. However, someone framed him for treason against city Lord Madmax. Both my mother and father are now in jail in MadCity. The only way to get them out is to take over MadCity. I have theorised that the esteemed senior is extremely powerful. If the senior helps me to take over MadCity and free them... I’ll do anything the senior asks." Dickinson chose his words carefully as he spoke.

"That won’t be a problem, as long as your father is still alive and can help me forge an identity I prefer... however, don’t try to be smart..." The lodgekeeper said.

Dickinson felt extremely happy. But he felt a chill crawl up his spine at the latter words of the senior.

He obviously knew what it meant. The senior was not someone who could be cheated. If he tried to outsmart the senior, the consequences would be dire.

Of course, there was no way he would ever try to outsmart this man. Not after everything he had seen the senior do.

Dickinson was not stupid.

He was a criminal’s son and a criminal himself. And one thing about professional criminals was that they respected the strong and bullied the weak. This man was powerful. There was no way he’d try to outsmart him.

When he looked into the blue eyes of the senior when he arrived and started talking, he felt like the senior had seen through everything he wanted to say, the moment he began talking.

However, the senior simply wanted to hear him talk. Someone like that was always several steps ahead of you.

"Then we have a deal, senior." He extended his hand.

Aiden extended his hand for a professional handshake.

After that, Dickinson stood up and left the lounge, leaving the lodgekeeper alone.

"It looks like forging an identity has been dealt with. Taking over MadCity should be simple."

Suddenly,

The bells of the town rung.

Someone spoke over a public speaker.

"All citizens at the gates, enter town!"

"All citizens at the gates, enter town!"

"Chaotic beast tide identified!"

"Chaotic beast tide identified!"

The Town Lord barged into the lodge.

"Senior, they are here," he said respectfully as sweat trickled down his forehead.

Aiden nodded. He left the lodge.

When he stepped out of the lodge, there was commotion everywhere.

Residents of the town were already geared up, preparing themselves for any unforeseen circumstances.

Some of them were panicking.

"What’s going on?"

"It’s been several years since we had a chaotic beast tide!"

"Right. The last time it happened, the casualties were too many."

"It looks like unlike the previous times, no strategies have been put in place to address the situation. What is going on?"

Vanity didn’t have time to placate the worries of the townsmen.

"Wait, is that the town Lord?"

"It looks like he’s with the lodgekeeper!"

"It seems they intend to deal with this alone?"

"Yeah, they are headed towards the walls!"

Soon, word spread that Vanity and The Lodgekeeper were headed towards the walls of the town to handle the beast tide alone.

[Actually the chaotic beast tide will be handled by the lodgekeeper alone, according to the Town Lord. The chaotic beasts are about a thousand expert rank 2 sandworms and presumed legendary rank 2 sandworms so... only an experienced legendary rank 2 warrior can deal with them.]

The person over the announcer spoke.

Many in the town suddenly came to a realization.

So, it turned out the lodgekeeper was a legendary rank 2 warrior?

No wonder he was so terrifying!

They had really underestimated this man!

Many rushed towards the walls to see how he would handle the chaotic beast tide.

It was not everyday that a legendary rank 2 warrior showed up in these parts.
