Armed Train in the Apocalypse

Chapter 928 - 521: Striving to Patch the Heavens (Part 6)

How can a person cause such a massive hole?

Although the train conductor hasn’t shown up for three years, who can guarantee he won’t emerge again?

With his sinister nature, if he hears that his only three bloodlines have all been engulfed in the corpse tide they incited...

Hua Zonglin doesn’t think he can escape unscathed.

The entire Donghuang might melt away like butter, right?

Even without considering the train conductor, the Armed Train has become an indisputable top-tier force; ever since the train anchored outside the Eternal Night Zone, even in the hellishly cold region of minus seventy to eighty degrees, a large number of people flock there every year.

Including the fourteen thousand Genetic Warriors, the entire outer circle of the Armed Train has reached twenty thousand members, plus about eight thousand internal staff, making the train’s weakest total capacity completely meet the standard of a major force.

On the surface, there’s the Tier Four "Iron Wall Lord" overseeing things, and hidden within is Lin Jin, whose evolutionary talent is even more outrageous than Master Eight, plus two Genetic Primordials, and an entire troop of top-tier Tier Three fighters with exceptional combat power.

He’s a bit regretful for having sought help so recklessly.

No, he regrets coming back; he would rather have died abroad.

Hua Zonglin grabbed his nephew’s arm, struggling to say, "We still have a chance, don’t we?"

The latter avoided him disdainfully, "It’s you guys, not us. Before Master Eight arrives, lay all your cards on the table."

"Otherwise, there will be no chance."

As the doors slid open, Huayang stepped back into the wind and snow. In the previously endless snow plains, giant beasts stood mythically.

They sat or stood, their cold, human-like eyes examining the convoy.

Inside the train, Hua Zonglin looked at Su Han, took a deep breath, and solemnly asked, "Could I borrow your communications to relay a message?"

...

In the vast snow plain, ice sand flew violently.

A man and a woman sprinted across the snow plains, their speed tearing through the sound barrier, the roaring snow dust surging around, as if the earth was being split like a sheet of paper.

The leading figure flipped unexpectedly, twisting agilely mid-air, defying all inertia like an antelope, turning on the spot, while the figure behind couldn’t dodge, rushing forward like a fighter jet.

But Ah Duo didn’t seize the chance to flee; she stood her ground, pulled out the curved saber piercing her chest, white blood splattering out, returning like spider silk mid-air, terrifyingly healing at a visibly fast rate.

A pair of beast-like eyes stared dead ahead.

In the wind and snow, a strong figure emerged faintly, "Aren’t you relying on evolution and physical strength too? Why insist on getting involved with the Mechanical God Cult?"

Before the words arrived, two breaths loomed from the wind and snow, high temperatures dispersing the flying ice sand, turning into misty dragons.

Cheng Zhan walked away, scars crisscrossed his bare chest, the heat from them even countering the terrifying cold of the Wind Snow Zone.

The woman slightly bowed her head, the horns on her head aimed at Cheng Zhan’s direction, posing awkwardly yet with a predatory sensation akin to a beast ready to attack.

"As a modern person, abandoning mechanics is the greatest folly."

Cheng Zhan curiously said, "I’ve seen Evolvers on the mechanical path, but there seem to be no signs of mechanical modifications on you? I’ve seen your insides too; they’re naturally evolved."

"It’s not only about modification; using faith against oneself, mechanics against the world, isn’t the only path. Aren’t you trying to challenge more experts? Join the Mechanical God Cult; we have endless enemies."

Ah Duo held the curved saber inversely, her expression sincere.

Not minding this man slashed her a thousand times.

Cheng Zhan scratched his messy hair, looking peculiar, "I just want to fight, not die; joining the Mechanical God Cult isn’t necessary to find opponents. Even if defeated, my supporting force will replace me. What’s in it for me to join you? Losing means truly dying."

Ah Duo hesitated, a trace of disappointment in her eyes, wanting to say something, but instinctively turned her head elsewhere, and Cheng Zhan did the same, his shield unconsciously raised to his chest, his aura reaching its peak.

The roaring wind and snow paused, not stopped but suspended mid-air.

Heavy breathing seemed like muffled war drums wrapped in blankets, thick and dense, as if the entire world became his chest cavity, trembling with his breathing. A splash of vibrant color appeared in the wind and snow, vast snowflakes turned to mist, far exceeding Cheng Zhan’s, the region’s temperature rapidly rising.

In the mingling mist and snow, the two simultaneously saw a pair of enormous amber lanterns.

The other lazily yawned, white breath escaping his teeth, beneath him four deepening pits, each about the size of a flower bed, with a hint of human-like humor in the amber beast-like eyes.

Tiger beasts emerged nearby, like small mountains, playing like big cats yet their terrifying weight didn’t collapse the snow layer.

A tiger so terrifying emerged before them, yet they hardly noticed.

If the latter hadn’t released a hint of his presence, they’d only notice face-to-face.

Facing such fierce beasts, even two land-bound indomitable Tier Four Evolvers fell silent.

Humans gain many wondrous abilities through evolution, but at the cost of their physique and overall quality being far weaker compared to Evolution Beasts.
