But she didn’t make any aggressive move; the moment she discovered the enemy, she had already retreated.

Because this time was enough for the pale demons to lock onto her!

With a tap of her foot, a terrifying dent appeared in the frozen ground, and the agile figure wielding dual blades dashed out a hundred meters, her short hair ruffled by the night breeze, her eyes flashing like cold light.

She turned, crossing the dual blades in front of her chest and slashing towards the sky.

Without any warning, a tear ripped open the sky with a crunch.

Without even checking the results, sensing the opponent’s momentary pause, Nut leapt like a swift antelope, disappearing into the wilderness in a few bounds.

Marcus stood in mid-air, staring absentmindedly at his hand formed of white flames.

The next moment, a cross appeared on it, and the white flame disintegrated.

But this collapse lasted only a moment; the white flame burned again, and the wound vanished without trace.

Recill mocked, "You can’t be scared by a Sanctum, can you?"

Marcus’ voice was heavy, "Recill, don’t be careless, the blade in her hand can hurt us!"

Recill surprised, "A Legendary Weapon?"

"Not that powerful, but close enough."

"Then it seems she’s a key figure. Should we capture her?"

Marcus hesitated for a moment, "Attempt to capture. With this native, she can save us a lot of trouble, but don’t waste too much time; I always feel she’s trying to stall us."

Recill let out a chuckle.

"No strong ones are delayed by the weak."

Though habitually stubborn, Recill still raised his vigilance to the highest level; his ability requires contact to rewrite the other’s memory, and if not handled well, getting slashed by a blade up close isn’t pleasant.

The body swept across the wilderness, leaving trails of invisible white flame behind.

In a few breaths, he had already caught up to Nut ahead, carefully keeping distance, merely extending a finger to draw in front of her, creating a dreadful white flame as a roadblock, the flames soaring up, forming a curtain instantly.

The woman on the ground deftly turned, avoiding the wall of fire, slashing two blades empty, but her falling form split into two.

A turn, two became four, four became eight.

Escaping from all directions.

Confronted with this sudden scene, Recill remained unfazed, his fingertips flicking, four or five walls of flame rising in the wilderness. At the moment of formation, a black cross blossomed in his white pupils, and the claw-like hand suddenly clenched.

Six flaming walls closed in, trapping all duplicates in the center.

Forced to jump upwards, Recill’s six flaming walls roared, extinguishing all duplicates, the surging flames reaching upwards.

Just as the white flames touched the opponent, his peripheral vision caught sight of a bomb soaring.

Recill laughed internally, just the old routine, merely exploding sparklers, incapable of harming the true spirit of a high-level demon.

Letting the bomb explode beneath him.

"Fool, dodge quickly!"

Marcus’ stern shout momentarily startled him, instinctively sensing the bomb, which had already detonated beneath him.

In a booming explosion, Recill’s angry roar rang out, "Damn it, these wretched humans mixed that many extraordinary materials in!"

"Are they burning money?!"

Furious, Recill struggled out of the explosion, this spiked bomb couldn’t kill him but disgusted him like a needle prick, not deadly but incredibly painful.

But just as he emerged, two blades merging with the night appeared before him.

The blades crossed, beheading the horned head filled with fury.

"Two blades."

A murmuring voice dissipated in the night.

Nut didn’t pause, continuing her charge, leaving shadows upon each step, running off in another direction.

On the sixth step, Marcus’ figure appeared in her perception.

Another unexpected bomb fell, Marcus desperately dodging, still getting slashed by the charging Nut.

"Three blades!"

But subsequently, Nut found it hard to employ the same method to slash two pale demons.

Even though the military adopted a larger scale firepower support, when the two were prepared, it was all for naught.

Though unwilling to admit, Nut clearly understood the gap between herself and the two demons; if not her home ground, she’d have been captured long ago.

She was somewhat relieved she hadn’t let the team follow.

But the actual situation differed from her imagination; the biggest weakness for the two pale demons was not the strange weapons the military occasionally tossed over, but the fathomless Eternal Night!

Though they seemed to fly, compared to their true speed, they were crawling on the ground!

And they couldn’t crawl too fast, or it would trigger Eternal Night’s rules, binding them in place with invisible ropes!

And they had to use their own rules to resist Eternal Night’s suppression constantly!

This was the truth behind two Tier Fours being helpless against a Tier Three Evolver.

"Ready!"

The internal earpiece transmitted Elder Marshal’s steady voice.

Nut panted heavily, multiple bursts in a short time pushing her stamina and energy to the brink.

"Always knew the old man was the most dependable!" Nut licked her dry lips, cracking a joke.

In the command center, Elder Marshal silently watched his granddaughter on the screen.

The dual blades nearly spun into a fiery wheel, eyes appearing calm but beneath, seething with uncontrollable frenzy, like a dormant volcano, waiting for the moment to erupt.

This wasn’t her.

Nut was influenced by the "Roar."

"Only those who remain calm survive until the end."

Elder Marshal reminded.

"I’m perfectly aware now, just want to slash these ghost things into bits!"

Nut let out a long howl, beginning her frontal assault.

"Energy weapon has a twelve-second delay at your location, hitting range of three hundred meters, you must run at least fifty meters away to get a chance, meaning you need to leave 0.06 seconds for reaction time..."

"Got it, got it, why didn’t I know you were so nagging before, old man?"

Nut’s tone was light, but on-screen Elder Marshal clearly saw her left leg sliced off, bloodless, seemingly vanished into thin air.

"Now!"

Nut shouted fiercely.

Watching the triggered weapon and his granddaughter charging with a severed leg, the strong old man quietly reddened his eyes.

Nut’s eyes were brimming with uncontainable frenzy, akin to the warriors first entering Donghuang, issuing a sharp howl.

Seven shadows converged from all directions, rushing towards the center Recill.

The greatest skill of every "Defender" at Tier Three is their domain, and "Night Hunting Frenzy’s" domain has one effect, damage stacking!

That’s why she’d rather lose a leg but strike the opponent.

With dual blades, each stack doubles, she slashed Recill six times before, and shadows just need to add three more cuts to trigger the stacking effect.

Her explosive frame folded to the limit, then unfolded in mid-air, seven shadows performing identical moves, beautifully like a formation.

A distorted ripple spread from afar.

The air like traversed by invisible reptiles, turning chaotic.

Recill standing amid eight Nuts inexplicably sensed a death crisis, dark pupils fixed on the chaotic energy beyond, feeling waves of disgust and puzzlement.

Though unsure how humans made this possible, it could only harm him, yet foreshadows his death?

Could it be this human before him?
