The look in her eyes made Xiao Wu shudder; earlier, he thought that they had already killed so many of Captain Xu’s people, and it should be alright for him to let the rest of the people go. After all, these people did not seem to be that close to Captain Xu. But he truly underestimated Bai Meiyue’s cruelty.

Bai Zhan looked at his sister worriedly; though they had dealt with Captain Xu, it did not change the fact that the man had brought another wave of the human-faced spiders toward their safe base. How were they going to deal with so many of these human-faced spiders? There were almost a hundred and fifty of them.

"Call Meng Suisui." Bai Meiyue’s eyes darkened. She knew that Meng Suisui was tired but there was nothing she could do; there was only Meng Suisui who could deal with these things.

Bai Zhan hesitated, but after gritting his teeth, he turned around on his feet and then hurried out of the watchtower. Who asked them to be so weak? There were absolutely no fire ability users, and even if they had some, they were not as strong as Lei Qian. The only one who could deal with these human-faced spiders was Meng Suisui. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ

Bai Meiyue watched her brother leave and then quickly thought of Lei Qian; if only he were with her, then she would not have to worry about anything.
