AnimeMan: The 13th Princess’s Overpowered Servant
Chapter : 659
Ken popped another cheese cube into his mouth. He analyzed the two different strategies with pure, flawless logic. He did not let emotions cloud his judgment.
"Zeus is an monster," Ken thought casually to himself. He sagged his shoulders. "He is cruel. He has zero empathy. He treats human beings like garbage."
Ken swallowed his food. He looked at the endless swarm of red-eyed puppets attacking the 13th Unit.
"But honestly," Ken reasoned lazily in his mind. "Zeus is actually playing the optimal strategy right now. This is a classic zombie virus scenario. Vespera is infecting people faster than the girls can tie them up. The red magic is spreading. If you do not delete the infected units immediately, the virus will eventually overwhelm the entire server."
Ken watched Naomi struggle to hold back a massive, enhanced guard. The guard swung a silver spear wildly. Naomi was getting very tired.
"Princess Iris is playing on the extreme difficulty setting," Ken noted silently. He leaned back against a wooden table leg. "A pacifist run is noble. It looks great on camera. But it requires a massive amount of extra cardio. Trying to save mindless, indestructible zombies is a huge waste of stamina. The most logical way to stop the magic from spreading is to eliminate the puppets. Zeus is doing the math perfectly. He is choosing efficiency over morality."
Ken disagreed with the Princess's tactical choice. He knew her compassionate strategy put the 13th Unit in massive danger. They were exhausting themselves to save people who were actively trying to kill them.
But Ken did not say a single word out loud. He did not crawl out from under the table to argue with her. He did not tell them to start using lethal attacks.
He kept his mouth shut. He reached for another piece of cheese.
"It is not my job to argue," Ken smiled a goofy, lazy smile in the shadows. "Princess Iris is the boss. She gives the orders. She buys the snacks. She gives me days off. If she wants to play the pacifist route, I will support her decision. I just hope they figure out how to smash that glowing glass flask soon. I am running out of cheese cubes."
Ken sat peacefully under the table. He continued to watch the intense, chaotic clash of ideals. The 13th Unit fought desperately to save lives, while the 1st Prince fought ruthlessly to erase them. The battle was far from over, and the real mastermind was still smiling in the center of the room.
---
General Vespera stood in the center of the chaotic ballroom. She held her glowing glass flask. The red mist swirled wildly inside the glass. She smiled a very cruel, wicked smile. Her toxic red eyes scanned the room.
She looked at the different Royal units fighting her puppets. She watched the 1st Prince shoot lightning. She watched the 4th Prince punch the guards. She watched the 2nd Princess use gravity. Vespera did not care about them. They used normal elemental magic. She could easily defeat normal magic.

Then, Vespera turned her head. She looked at the 13th Unit.
She saw Princess Iris. Princess Iris stood behind a golden barrier. The violet-eyed royal held her silver rapier. Her rapier glowed with a brilliant, pure white light. It was holy magic.
Vespera narrowed her red eyes. She felt a sudden, sharp sting of warning in her mind. Her demonic instincts flared up .
She recognized the magic. It was the "Infinite Prayers" ability. It was pure, unfiltered holy energy. Holy magic was the ultimate weakness of the Netherworld forces. It could melt her blood magic instantly. It could destroy her puppets. It could destroy her.
"That little Princess is a massive threat," Vespera whispered to herself. Her voice sounded like scraping metal. "If she unleashes a full holy attack, my entire army will turn to dust. I cannot allow her to cast her ultimate spell. I must eliminate her right now."
Vespera ignored the other Princes. She ignored the fighting guards. She locked her toxic red eyes directly onto Princess Iris.
Vespera raised her pale hand. She snapped her fingers.
A massive surge of dark red magic erupted from her boots. She dashed across the marble floor. She moved with blinding, impossible speed. She looked like a red blur. She bypassed the brawling crowds . She headed straight for the 13th Unit.
"Incoming!" Sayma shouted politely. The intelligent Vice-Captain pushed her thick glasses up the bridge of her nose. "General Vespera is charging directly at us! She is targeting the Princess!"
Naomi spun her twin silver daggers. The vanguard leader stepped quickly in front of Princess Iris. Her green eyes flashed with intense determination. She wore her sleek red dress, but she moved like a fierce warrior.
"You are not touching her!" Naomi yelled loudly.
Naomi dashed forward to intercept the demon general. She swung her daggers in a fast, cross-shaped slash. She wanted to block Vespera's path.
Vespera did not even slow down. She simply waved her pale hand. A burst of solid blood magic slammed into Naomi's daggers. The impact pushed Naomi backward. Naomi slid across the smooth floor. She struggled to keep her balance.
Laxmi jumped into the air. The fire user grinned a wild, angry grin. Bright orange flames roared around her fists. "Burn!" Laxmi roared. She threw a massive fireball at Vespera.
Vespera raised her glass flask. The red mist absorbed the fireball . The flames vanished into thin air. Vespera kept running. She was unstoppable.
Zinia stomped her boots. She pulled up a thick wall of solid rock. Vespera punched the rock wall. The stone shattered into a million pieces of gray dust.
Vespera broke through the entire vanguard in three seconds. She stood right in front of Princess Iris.
Princess Iris gripped her silver rapier tightly. She did not flinch. She raised her glowing blade. She prepared to fight the demon general.
Vespera raised her hand. Sharp, toxic blood magic gathered around her fingers. She aimed directly for the Princess's heart.
Suddenly, a loud, highly dramatic groan echoed across the ballroom.
"This is unacceptable!" a lazy voice complained.
Ken Eliot walked out from behind a large marble pillar. He wore his navy blue suit pants. His white dress shirt hung completely untucked over his belt. He did not wear a tie. His black hair stuck up in wild, messy spikes. He slouched his shoulders as far as they could possibly go.
Ken held a large, white porcelain plate in his hands. The plate was piled with hot meatballs. Rich, thick tomato sauce covered the meatballs. He also held a very tall crystal glass of expensive red wine.
He was not looking at General Vespera. He was not looking at Princess Iris. He was looking down at his plate.
"They ran out of potato chips," Ken whined loudly. He dragged his cheap shoes on the marble floor. Scuff. Scuff. Scuff. "I had to settle for hot meatballs. Meatballs are very . They require a fork. I hate using forks. And this wine smells like old grapes. I just wanted a cold soda."
