After Marrying 5 Yandere Wives, I Obtained a 10,000x Return System
Chapter 317: Three Women Fight Over Luke’s Empty Seat!
"THIS IS CRAZY!"
All the Sunborn warriors stared in disbelief at Zeyr’s enormous new form. Creating a huge-sized attack was one thing, something Luke had already demonstrated earlier, but transforming one’s entire body into such a gigantic size was an entirely different matter.
"Show-off," Karon muttered, while the other Empyrean representatives could only stare at Zeyr with speechless expressions.
Zeyr had always enjoyed displaying his strength, and apparently, this was simply another opportunity for him to do so.
Meanwhile, Marrec’s mouth had fallen completely open.
"Is this what an early B-rank can become?"
"For an Earth Dragon, yes," Brynessa answered calmly, having already seen Earth Dragons of even greater size before. After all, the bodies of the ancient Earth Dragons were practically walking mountains.
Hearing that, Marrec became even more shocked, and his attention quickly shifted toward Mella.
"Now I don’t even know whether her Wind Spear can pierce his body or not."
Brynessa didn’t answer. As she already knew the result.
---
"COME!"
Zeyr’s thunderous roar spread across the arena as Mella, without the slightest change in expression, she released her rotating Wind Spear directly toward the back of his mountain-like form.
WHOOOOOSH!
The gigantic spear tore through the air, spinning at tremendous speed as layers of compressed wind twisted around its tip.
"ROAR!"
Zeyr suddenly turned around and faced the incoming attack head-on. Instead of avoiding it, he deliberately took the attack directly, clearly intending to demonstrate just how strong his defense had become after activating Mountainforged.
BAAANG!
The collision sounded like a gigantic cannon had exploded inside the arena.
The impact blasted stones from Zeyr’s head and sent dust and fragments flying in every direction, yet what happened next left the Sunborn warriors completely stunned.
"NO WAY!"
Mella’s Wind Spear continued spinning furiously against Zeyr’s dragon head, grinding against his hardened body as sparks flew in every direction. Dust filled the surrounding air, and the wind screamed around the point of impact, but despite all that force, the spear simply could not penetrate his defense.
It had managed to push forward during the initial impact, but after that, it had stopped completely.
Not even a shallow wound remained.
Zeyr’s defense had simply held.
Mella stared at the scene for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh. Without wasting any further energy, she withdrew the Wind Spear and returned to her humanoid form.
"You win." She surrendered immediately, not even waiting for Peiro to formally announce anything.
Zeyr’s mouth twitched.
"Women nowadays..."
His gaze shifted toward Brynessa, and the playful expression on his face disappeared as fighting spirit began to rise within his eyes.
"Zeyr won. The Sunborn side wins this round," Peiro announced calmly.
There was hardly any change in his expression, just as there had been during the other battles.
The only time Peiro had shown an obvious reaction was during Luke’s battle.
After all, everyone fighting in this arena had been within roughly the same realm.
Luke had been different.
He had fought opponents two realms above his own and overwhelmed them.
If something like that failed to draw a reaction from Peiro, what possibly could?
Meanwhile, Mella lowered her head toward Brynessa.
"I am sorry, Miss. I lost."
There was genuine disappointment in her voice. If Brynessa hadn’t ordered her earlier not to fight to the death, Mella would have continued fighting until one of them could no longer stand.
"It’s fine," Brynessa replied calmly.
She rose from her seat and removed her black robe completely, revealing her full appearance to everyone watching.
Underneath was a royal green robe decorated with intricate designs that further emphasized her status.
Without another word, Brynessa stepped forward and jumped down into the arena, landing directly in front of Zeyr.
"She is finally here!"
"A High B-rank!"
The atmosphere immediately became tense, yet excitement also spread throughout the spectators.
This was the first time a true High B-rank combatant had entered the arena, which meant they were finally about to witness a battle between beings at a much higher level.
Of course, Luke’s previous display of strength wasn’t necessarily something that could be repeated endlessly. A High B-rank could unleash attacks of that level repeatedly, while a lower-ranked combatant might only be able to produce one or two such attacks before exhausting themselves.
Even Luke and Selene turned their attention toward the arena.
They both wanted to see exactly what Zeyr could bring out now that he was facing a High B-rank opponent.
"Start," Peiro announced.
Zeyr immediately looked toward Brynessa with complete confidence.
"Even though you are a High B-rank, I am sure you can’t move my Mountainforged form."
"Oh? Really?" Brynessa smiled.
Under the stunned gazes of everyone present, her body suddenly began to transform.
Her small humanoid form expanded rapidly, stretching upward and outward like a snake escaping from a confined space. Her body continued growing longer and larger until the transformation finally revealed her true royal serpent form.
A thousand-foot-long royal serpent now occupied the arena.
Unlike Mella’s Wind Serpent form, whose head retained the distinct triangular shape of a true snake.
She resembled a giant royal cobra, with the sides of her head expanded outward like a hood. Two fully grown purple horns emerged from the top of her head, curving backward like the horns of an Eastern dragon.
Four limbs were present along the beginning and end portions of her enormous serpentine body. They were relatively small compared to the rest of her body, but perfectly suited for gripping or attacking.
Her entire body was covered in a beautiful mixture of purple and green scales that shimmered under the arena’s light.
Zeyr stared at her.
The confidence on his face disappeared.
"This..."
He suddenly felt that he had spoken far too early.
’I am fucked.’ That was the only thought left in his mind.
Brynessa didn’t give him time to recover.
Her enormous tail swept sideways.
The movement was so fast that the sound barrier itself seemed to break around it.
SHHHWOOOOOSH!!!
FWWWWOOOM!!!
THOOOOOM!!!
BOOOOOM!!!
Her tail struck Zeyr’s mountain-like dragon body directly.
For one brief instant, Zeyr’s gigantic form appeared frozen in place.
Then his body bent inward from the impact.
The next moment, his entire five-hundred-foot body was blasted backward with terrifying speed, crossing the arena almost instantly before crashing into the ground nearly twenty kilometers away.
BOOOOM!
The impact created a gigantic crater.
The earth within a kilometer radius was completely destroyed as soil and shattered stone erupted into the air. Zeyr’s enormous body remained buried deep inside the crater, and for several seconds, there was no movement at all.
"..."
"..."
The spectators fell silent.
Everyone had just witnessed something difficult to process.
Zeyr had always been one of the clearest examples of overwhelming physical strength and defense among the Emperyan warriors.
Yet a single flick of Brynessa’s tail had sent him flying across the arena.
And she had done it effortlessly.
"Can we even defeat her?"
"We can’t..."
The Sunborn warriors exchanged tense whispers, their gazes repeatedly shifting between Brynessa and the spectator seats where Luke and Selene were sitting.
At this point, they could only think of those monsters when it came to fighting another monster.
As those thoughts spread through the crowd, a painful voice finally emerged from the distant crater.
"U-Ugh..."
Zeyr’s voice was barely audible.
"I surrender!"
His entire body was injured, nearly every bone broken from the impact. Even moving his jaw had become difficult.
"Brynessa won. Infernal side wins," Peiro announced.
With that, Zeyr’s body was immediately transported back into the spectator seats, where his gigantic form reverted to his normal body.
He appeared in a half-dead state.
"You should stop showing off already," Karon muttered with a sigh.
She immediately fed Zeyr a High-rank B-grade healing potion.
"Ughh..." Instead of a proper response, Zeyr could only produce a painful grunt.
Even with his powerful physique, his potent Essence, and the healing potion, repairing every damaged bone and muscle would still take several hours.
Peiro then turned his attention toward Luke and Selene.
"Send your next warrior."
"I have to go, honey."
Selene slapped his hand away, which was all the time present between her legs, and gave him a shameless look before standing up.
Luke’s expression remained perfectly composed.
He still wore the innocent face of a husband who had absolutely nothing to do with whatever had just happened.
"Shameless," Selene muttered upon seeing that expression.
She then jumped into the arena, crossing the distance and reaching the center almost instantly.
"The final battle, I guess," one of the Empyrean Academy representatives remarked.
Everyone knew Selene wasn’t weak. She had already defeated a Mid-B-rank opponent before, but she had never publicly fought against a High B-rank.
That was about to change.
Meanwhile, the moment three women noticed that Luke was sitting alone and that the sticky vampire had finally left, their eyes immediately lit up.
Alia, Estelle, and Isaria stood up at almost the exact same time.
Rustle! Rustle! Rustle!
The moment they noticed one another, their expressions changed.
None of them had any intention of giving up their chance.
All three immediately rushed toward Luke’s seat.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
THUD! THUD! THUD!
On the way, Nolan and Arwen were suddenly knocked backward into their seats as Alia and Estelle passed them without slowing down.
Both of them stared after the women in confusion.
"What the hell just happened?"
But none of the three women cared.
They finally reached Luke’s seat and immediately took their places beside him.
Plop! Plop!
Only two distinct sounds came from the seats.
Alia and Estelle had already occupied Luke’s left and right sides.
As for Isaria...
"I am sorry..." She whispered shyly, because she was sitting at Luke’s center, between his legs.
The moment everyone noticed where she had positioned herself, their expressions became strange.
Alia and Estelle and even others would notice this, and felt this womanizer couldn’t control his lust; just as his wife went, he targeted another woman.
"It’s ok." Luke said with a saintly face, but there, Isaria could feel that Luke’s third brother was poking her.
Which she misunderstood, thinking he still got physically attracted to her.
But the truth for hardness of his little brother was far more embarrassing for Luke.
Selene had only just left, and he had not yet completely recovered from their earlier intimacy.
So now he could do nothing except maintain a perfectly normal expression and pretend that nothing unusual was happening.
’I just hope Selene doesn’t turn around.’ Luke silently prayed while keeping his face completely composed.
