After Beating the Game, I Became the Villain BOSS
Chapter 671 - 416: Three-Part Battlefield
Dusk passed, and night fell, the cold moonlight shone in the sky, marking the noisiest night since the establishment of the Capital City.
From dawn to late night, in less than a single day, the Capital Group Army had nearly a hundred thousand soldiers ground down by Constructs, a death rate beyond any commander’s tolerance, even the night sky was dyed a shocking blood-red by artillery, as if the souls of the war were painting their marks.
The war continued throughout the entire city, with the soldiers of the Capital Group Army relying on their established defense positions to fight desperately against the Constructs, intermittent gunfire and explosions in the night made one feel dazed.
The cold moonlight draped the scarred city, covering the dilapidated buildings and remnants with a silver-white veil, the moonlight casting mottled shadows through the wall holes and windows blown open by artillery fire.
The streets were filled with vehicles destroyed by the flames of war and debris from buildings, bullet holes and burn marks could be seen everywhere, and the air was thick with lingering gunpowder smell, occasionally a cold wind would scatter the dust in the moonlight, like a Death God dancing.
Located in the northern part of the Capital City, the Hegemony Company Headquarters was the core of the defense, with elite forces directly under the giant enterprise heavily stationed here, soldiers in battle readiness could be seen everywhere, each one an Extraordinary Being.
Around were dozens of enormous Titan Mechas, their surfaces clad with thick defensive plating, the energy heavy cannons reflecting the eerie moonlight, and the dark cannon muzzles like Death God’s gaping mouths, ready at any moment to devour life.
At this moment, the exterior targeting beams of the Titan Mechas shifted from green to red, and the cannon muzzles adjusted their angles, aiming at the distant dark neighborhood, the other defense forces instantly entering combat mode.
"Boom boom boom—" Various artillery and Titan Mechas fired one after another, shells roaring through the air like raindrops, along with crisscrossing energy beams rushing towards the aimed direction.
Shells exploded on the ground with a roar, columns of fire connected into a single sheet, flames twisting like a grotesque giant serpent rampaging in the dark.
The energy beams, though they didn’t cause explosions on impact, disintegrated the contacted ground as if melting ice, leaving only trenches and holes flowing with lava.
Almost simultaneously, hordes of Worker Bee Constructs charged out from the darkness through the flames, having previously been moving covertly, until detected by these war machines.
Amidst the flickering gunfire, the Construct swarm quickly clashed with the giant forces, engaging in close-quarter combat.
Those involved in Headquarters defense were elite among elites, with the weakest being Extraordinary Beings at the third or fourth stage of power, while they were informed beforehand, they weren’t caught off guard facing the cold-blooded Constructs.
These Giant Warriors possessed high loyalty and astounding combat will, willing to sacrifice for the Headquarters, fighting like cold machines.
The Constructs, as Worker Bees without independent thought, bore lives that the Queen Bee could use at will, also known to have no fear.
Neither side retreated from the battlefield, without fear, there was naturally no shouting or yelling.
On the battlefield, beyond the sound of gunfire and bodies struck by cold weapons, there was no human voice, only silent slaughter.
At this moment, Hansen, the chief powerhouse of Hegemony Company, was in the central line of the battle, not aiding any team.
Coincidentally, the Constructs also seemed aware they couldn’t pose any threat to him, thus not choosing to attack him.
In the chaotic and frenzied battlefield, he seemed like an outsider.
Biting on a lit cigar, Hansen took a deep puff and exhaled the smoke, coldly watching the dark street ahead, seemingly watching for someone.
In the darkness, Constructs continued to emerge, and a tiny spark of burning fire could be steadily seen moving, marking the burning cigar.
Gradually, a tall figure stepped out of the darkness, clad in a black leather coat with wolf mane that swayed in the heat wave from explosions, those strange dark purple eyes burning like fierce flames, as if they would incinerate everything.
"Heh, Fenrir, I’ve been waiting half a day for you."
Hansen removed the half-smoked cigar from his mouth, listening to its sizzling sound: "Today is the first time I smoke a cigar, I really don’t get it, why do people like smoking such a bitter..."
Before he finished speaking, Fenrir’s figure vanished in an instant from its spot, followed by sonic booms triggered by high-speed movement.
"Boom!!!"
In an instant, Hansen’s face was struck with great force, cratering heavily inwards, his skin, blood vessels bursting, with unknown facial bones shattered, his entire body spiraled backward nearly a hundred meters, finally crashing into a Titan Mecha engaged in fire with Constructs.
The terrifying impact sheared the Titan Mecha’s chassis in two, causing its massive metal body to lose balance and collapse thunderously, pinning Hansen beneath.
Fenrir steadied himself from high-speed movement, flicking off the blood from his fist, removing the cigar broken by wind pressure from his mouth, and coolly said: "If you want to fight, then fight, so much talk."
Amid the wreckage of the Titan Mecha, Hansen lay spread-eagled, his features obliterated beyond recognition, completely still.

Outside the Iron Blood Alliance Headquarters, a similar battle to that surrounding the Hegemony Company Headquarters played out.
