Chapter 92: Beat the Young and Old One Comes

Han Yuxi began taking out every pill that was in the bag Jiang Yun gave her and stuffing them into her own mouth. From what she could see before, all the pills were beneficial, so it didn’t matter which ones she took.

With the medicinal properties surging through her body, Han Yuxi felt a strong force welling up inside her that began to grow.

Chu Feng, watching the growing aura, became alarmed.

"What have you done? Why are you getting stronger so rapidly?"

"None of your business," Han Yuxi replied, struggling to contain the energy.

Once the pressure was at its breaking point, Han Yuxi felt something start to break. With a loud crack, she broke through to the peak stage Earth Immortal realm.

The energy didn’t stop, and Han Yuxi reached the half-step Heaven Immortal realm. The energy finally subsided, and her realm stopped breaking through.

The result of consuming all the pills left Han Yuxi full of vitality, and all her injuries had completely healed.

"Amazing," Han Yuxi muttered to herself.

"Do you dare use pills in our honorable battle?" Chu Feng yelled, now feeling somewhat threatened.

"It’s not against the rules, so why does it matter? Not to mention you have a higher realm than me, so aren’t you the one being dishonorable?"

"Shut up. Even if you broke through, it doesn’t mean your realm is stable. Such rapid breakthroughs will lead you to be unable to control your strength, which is far from my current level."

"Are we going to fight, or are you just going to keep talking?"

"Fine, have it your way. I will no longer hold back and will show you what a real genius looks like."

Chu Feng erupted with his Immortal energy, and his power began to increase. Once Chu Feng reached an unbelievable amount of energy, he unleashed it forward toward Han Yuxi.

Wanting to test her new realm, Han Yuxi took it head-on with her Immortal Emperor sword.

The two weapons made contact again, but it was no longer as one-sided as before. This time, Han Yuxi had the advantage and began slowly pushing Chu Feng back.

Not wanting to lose, Chu Feng tried even harder and put in even more effort, and every ounce of focus was put into his attack. Still, the situation didn’t change, and he was losing ground constantly.

Nearing the edge of the platform, Chu Feng knew he was running out of time and needed to do something fast.

No longer holding back his trump cards, Chu Feng unleashed a secret treasure on his body.

A talisman began to glow on his chest, and a light began to spread throughout his body. His strength began to increase at a noticeable rate, and the losing situation started becoming advantageous.

Pushing his halberd forward, Chu Feng started pinning down Han Yuxi, and they arrived at the other corner of the platform. Han Yuxi could be pushed off at any moment.

Having used everything she had up her sleeve, Han Yuxi couldn’t help but think defeat was imminent. To her surprise, the force that had been pushing her lost all of its force.

Observing what was happening to Chu Feng, Han Yuxi noticed that the talisman had disappeared, meaning the strength he had borrowed had run out.

Taking advantage of this opportune moment, Han Yuxi put everything she had into trying to knock Chu Feng out of the platform.

Chu Feng tried to use his remaining strength, but to no avail. He had used too much strength on the talisman and was now completely drained.

With a small bit of contact, Han Yuxi forced Chu Feng to fly through the air and land outside the platform on his face.

Getting up quickly, Chu Feng showed a face mixed with embarrassment and anger.

"You may have won, but don’t think I will let you go for what you’ve done."

"Didn’t you say you would let me go if I won?"

"When did I ever say that? Do you have proof? Who here will say they heard what I said?"

Han Yuxi began looking around and realized everyone in the crowd was pretending not to see anything. This was his own territory, and nobody here would lend a helping hand.

"So this was your plan," Han Yuxi growled. "You are shameless."

"Shameless as I might be, you will have to come with me or face the consequences."

"What if I don’t? What are you going to do?"

"I will force you to listen to my commands. So, what do you say? The easy way or the hard way?"

"Neither. I choose to beat you until even your mother can’t recognize you."

Han Yuxi rushed forward to try and teach Chu Feng a lesson. Chu Feng stood confidently now that he was outside the arena. He knew nobody would be allowed to injure him with so many people around.

"What are you doing?" Chao Jun asked, having appeared in front of Han Yuxi and grabbing her sword.

"Let go," Han Yuxi yelled, trying to pull her weapon back. "How could a dignified Immortal Emperor get involved between Earth Immortals?"

"He is the young master of my sect, so I can’t let you harm him any further," Chao Jun stated. "If you keep trying, I will have no choice but to take further action."

"Fine," Han Yuxi replied, having calmed down. "I will leave peacefully, so let go."

Seeing that Han Yuxi had truly intended to stop, Chao Jun let go.

Han Yuxi began to turn and leave until she was stopped by a yell behind her.

"Stop!" Chu Feng yelled. "Do you think I’ll let you go? You still haven’t answered if you want to have it the easy way or the hard way."

"Don’t take things too far," Han Yuxi yelled back. "It has already been settled that I can leave."

"Who said that you can leave? Did I say that, or did you assume that you could?"

Han Yuxi didn’t know how to reply to this level of shamelessness.

"Hurry and go capture her," Chu Feng ordered Chao Jun.

Chao Jun looked somewhat conflicted, but nevertheless followed orders.

Before his hand could capture Han Yuxi, another figure appeared in front and stopped him.

Jiang Yun grabbed Chao Jun’s hand and threw him back.

"Who are you?" Chao Jun asked after quickly recovering.

"Who I am doesn’t matter," Jiang Yun replied with some slight anger. "Just know you can’t touch her."

"Yeah, and are you going to stop me?"

"If you dare take another step forward, then your life is forfeited."

"You and what power? Are you trying to make me laugh with your pitiful amount of Immortal energy? I can’t feel even the slightest bit of Immortal energy from you, so how do you intend to stop me?"

"Come and find out then," Jiang Yun provoked, waving his hand in a taunting motion.

Having been thoroughly provoked, Chao Jun had no reason to hold back and lunged at Jiang Yun to end things fast and accomplish his task.

Much to his surprise, he was once again thrown back like a piece of trash.

Chao Jun landed hard on the ground, but was practically uninjured. This allowed him to get up quickly, though very embarrassed from being thrown around.

"What is happening?" Chao Jun roared. "How can I possibly be thrown back despite being a dignified Immortal Emperor? I’ll kill you and clear my embarrassment."

Chao Jun was now blinded by anger and rushed forward with no regard for his life. The moment he got close, his body froze and he couldn’t rush forward no matter how hard he tried.

Trying to speak, his mouth was shut and he couldn’t move in the slightest. Having struggled for a while, Chao Jun gave up, unable to find a way out.

Chu Feng stood to the side confused, unable to understand what was happening.

"What are you doing?" Chu Feng yelled. "Stop being lazy, and hurry up and kill this man and capture the woman."

Despite the threatening tone, Chao Jun remained motionless, seemingly ignoring every word.

Chu Feng couldn’t stand such disrespect and wanted to take things into his own hands. Before he could do so, he too was frozen in place.

This gave Chu Feng a revelation on what had happened, and he began to struggle to find a way out himself.

While Chu Feng struggled, Jiang Yun had walked in front of Chao Jun and was preparing to end the man in front of him.

"Do you have any last words?" Jiang Yun asked in cold anger.

"Just who exactly are you?" Chao Jun yelled with a hint of fear.

"Ask that once you die."

Jiang Yun slapped Chao Jun in the face, and his head exploded into a mist of blood. The body collapsed on the ground motionless.

Chu Feng, watching from the side frozen, began feeling extreme fear. He never thought such a powerful enemy would come out of nowhere and threaten his life today.

With all his strength and building up his courage, Chu Feng tried to make a call for help.

"Help me!" Chu Feng yelled with whatever he could.

In the next moment, a man with long, graying black hair appeared. The man looked extremely disordered, with his hair spread all over the place.

"Uncle Zhu!" Chu Feng shouted. "You’re here to help me, right?"

"Of course, my nephew, your uncle is here to save you."

The man named Zhu turned to Jiang Yun with a face filled with undisguised anger.

"Who are you to harm my nephew?"
