1756  Shocked Lucas Dawson

The camp was completely wiped out by Grey. He didn't spare their reserves as he wiped it clean. Each of these camps usually had good reserves, so Grey's loot wasn't little. After seeing the indifference of Lord Dante and the others from the Pyro Faction, he calmed down.

He rushed over to where Lord Dante and the others were waiting.

"Senior, I'll be on my way now." He bowed as he said.

Lord Dante cast a deep, long look at him before nodding and waving his hands, "You can go. Make sure to place your safety above everything else. Your life is too valuable for you to dare act carelessly."

The other Elders didn't expect Lord Dante to hold Grey in such high regard. From his voice, they could tell that he didn't really want to allow Grey to leave, but there was no way he could keep him there, hence the reason he sounded in this manner. Making sure to tell Grey about the importance of keeping himself alive.

Grey, like many other people, didn't need anyone to tell him about the importance of keeping himself safe. There's no way he would rush into a situation that will cost him his life. Although he has made some bold decisions over the years, most of the time, he was almost always confident that he could escape. So, he didn't think he was someone who needed such reminders. He thanked Lord Dante for his reminder before darting off.

Lord Dante watched Grey's disappearing back, a bit tense. He calmed his mind and turned to the Elders.

"How come none of you noticed this camp?" His cold voice sent a shiver down the spine of the old man who was tasked with protecting the mountain where the array was located.

"Lord Dante, they are well hidden. I don't know the special means that little kid used, but if he hadn't followed us, I don't think any of us here would've sensed the presence of this camp." The Elder hurriedly spoke. He made sure to use his words to drag everyone with him, including Lord Dante himself!

When Grey led them here, none of them sensed anything amiss, Lord Dante included! If even when brought this close Lord Dante couldn't sense them, then how could he sense them from such a far distance?

Lord Dante knew the meaning behind the old man's words and snorted coldly, "Be more vigilant."

Leaving this statement behind, Lord Dante led the group back to the mountain where the array was located.

….

A few hundred kilometers away from this place.

Grey didn't rest, after separating from Lord Dante's group, he didn't waste any time and picked a random direction before flying out. When he came here, he was led by his Faction Leader and Elders. However, the rest of his Faction members, including the Elders and Faction Leader were still in the Pyro World, waiting for the others to finish their cultivation. Not everyone is like Grey who wanted to explore.

Grey informed Faction Leader Bertram about his intention to leave, so he wasn't bothered about them searching for him.

He came to a stop on top of a mountain; looking around, he couldn't help but furrow his brows. He had been stuck in the mountain range for a few hours now. What surprised him was that he didn't sense the presence of any human. He had encountered some Magical Beasts, but with his current strength, there were few Magical Beasts that could threaten him, and all of them should at least be peak Eighth Ranked Magical Beasts.

Another went by in a flash.

Grey finally managed to sense the aura of people after an entire day. He soon saw a small City, and after making inquiries, he was able to find out his current location.

'The Dawson Family is in that direction.'

Grey looked in a certain direction, and after thanking the person who provided the information, he once again started his journey.

A week later.

Grey soon got to the region where the Dawson Family was located. There wasn't much difference from how it used to be, other than the increased security. With the Dawson Family no longer fighting with the opposing Family due to the threat of the Gnomes, the Dawson Family was able to send out experts to increase the security of each city in the region.

After entering the region, Grey rushed straight to the Dawson Family location. He didn't get there until after some time.

On getting there, he was instantly summoned by his father before he even entered the Family manor.

In the mountain cave, Lucas always takes Grey.

Grey saw Lucas standing there with his hands behind his back. Sensing Grey, Lucas turned to him. His eyes glowed as he sensed Grey's cultivation stage, he shook his head when he tried to compare his cultivation speed to that of his son. The difference was shocking. Just how many months had passed since they entered the God's tomb, yet Grey had already grown to the Sixth stage of the Sovereign Plane. He could even sense that Grey wasn't that far from the Seventh stage. Such cultivation speed is simply unheard of.

Grey bowed to greet his father. Lucas nodded and signaled for him to come stand close to him.

Grey did as instructed.

Neither of them spoke, the duo only staring into the vast lush forest before them.

After a few minutes, Lucas finally spoke.

"How were your gains in the Pyro World?"

Grey didn't expect his father to know about his trip to the Pyro World, but since he asked, he didn't conceal anything from him.

"You've awoken your fifth domain?" Lucas sucked in a deep breath when he heard this. Although he predicted it to happen, he still almost couldn't believe it. A single Elementalist having five domains is impossible. They've never even heard of an Elementalist with four domains, much less five.

'That orb is heaven-defying!'

This was the only thought in Lucas' head. He knew that his son's ability to achieve this was mostly related to the orb he had acquired years ago.
