Chapter 1755 Leaving The Pyro World II
1755 Leaving The Pyro World II
"Boy, are you certain?" Lord Dante's expression was very serious, as a cold light flashed across his eyes. Seeing Grey nod in confirmation, his expression turned even gloomier.
"To think they dare set up camp in my territory." Lord Dante snorted coldly before closing his eyes, after a moment of silence, Grey heard the sound of multiple footsteps rushing to the Hall. Before long, nine Elders had rushed into the Hall.
"Lord Dante, are you sure of this information?" A thin-looking old man among the Elders asked with a serious expression. The news they received was not something to be taken lightly, so he wanted to be sure that Lord Dante was a hundred percent certain.
Lord Dante didn't speak, rather, he turned his eyes to Grey. When everyone saw his actions, they knew that the information received was provided by this young man. It didn't take long for them to recognize Grey, after all, his performance during the competition was too mind-blowing.
"Kid, are you certain of this information?" The Elder who questioned Lord Dante asked, his unwavering gaze never leaving Grey's body, as if seemingly wanting to see if his words contained any deception.
Under the gaze of so many experts, Grey's heart trembled, but he didn't feel any form of fear or panic, with the same calm expression as always, he replied confidently, "I don't dare guarantee that the camp is still there, after all, I only sensed them when coming in here. As you all know, I've been here for two months, and a lot can happen in two months."
The Elders all wore serious expressions, they all knew the meaning behind Grey's words, and although they didn't want to waste their time, the thought of a potential threat lying around didn't give them any sense of peace.
"Since that's the case, we can't delay this matter any further. We will lead you out, and if you can still sense their presence, then we will deal with them." Lord Dante suggested.
The Elders all nodded.
Under the leadership of Lord Dante, they got to the portal that led to the outside world. After appearing, they used the array to return to the initial mountain.
….
Somewhere in the Aurora Continent, about fifty kilometers away from the mountain the Pyro World space array was located.
Of the numerous mountains in this region, there was a mountain that was occupied. If one focuses they will sense the buzz of activity from it.
Inside the mountain, a group of four people were rushing through a pathway, heading deeper into the cave. All three were dressed in black cloaks that covered their entire bodies, leaving only part of their faces open.
"Are you sure the information you received was correct?"
"Yes."
"Hahaha, that's great! We will be able to gain enough from those guys if we make good use of this information."
"I had the same thought."
The group of four were still conversing among themselves when the mountain suddenly shook vigorously.
"What's happening?!" One of them asked in a panic-stricken voice.
He wasn't the only one who showed panic on his face, the trio beside him all wore worried expressions. Their eyes soon flashed with a cold light when they recalled that they had a powerful expert who had recently come to deliver a piece of information the previous day.
Before the group reacted, a powerful roar came from the depths of the mountain.
"Who dares?!"
A powerful aura burst forth from the mountain, and when the four felt the pressure of the aura, they looked at each other with fear in their eyes. This was the aura of a Sovereign, a character that was very close to the peak of the Aurora Continent.
The group consisted of only Peak Sage Plane Elementalists, and the Sovereign Plane was a realm they knew they didn't have a chance of ever attaining in their lifetime.
As soon as the tyrannical aura of the Sovereign gushed out, accompanied by the roar. What happened next shocked the group of four. Even before they could rush out to see their senior single-handedly suppress whoever came to cause trouble, they heard a fear-filled scream. The voice clearly belonged to the Sovereign who just rushed out in anger.
"Your Excellency, I didn't mean to offend you. Please, have mercy on me. Ah!"
The screams of pain continued for a short while before gradually going silent. The four, who were still in the tunnel, couldn't help but shiver in fear. The figure who they felt was undefeatable had just been beaten mercilessly by someone they didn't even know.
"What's happening?" One of them asked, unconsciously retreating as he asked his companions.
"How should I know?!" One of his companions yelled at him angrily. They were all here, yet his companion was asking such a stupid question.
"Shou… should we go investigate?"
Just as they were about to reply, they heard a voice that seemingly came like a ghost.
"There's no need."
Before they could respond, their vision went black, falling to the ground, dead.
In the dark tunnel, Grey's figure appeared like a ghost. The group were only Sages, so killing was as easy as lifting his finger.
'I didn't expect that all they had was just one Fourth stage Sovereign.' He couldn't help but curse at this group.
Wanting to strike a deal with Lord Dante, he told him about the group he sensed when he was about to go to the location where the portal leading to the Pyro World was located.
Lord Dante readily agreed to allow him to leave as long as he took them here to deal with this camp. Grey didn't know if it was a Necromancers or Gnomes camp, neither did he know the strength of the experts present. Only after getting here did he realize this.
Lord Dante and the other Elders told him to act on his own since there wasn't anyone there who needed them to act. After saying this, they didn't immediately leave, rather, waiting for him to wipe out this camp.
Seeing that it was a Necromancer's camp, Grey was even more ruthless, killing everyone in sight.
