Lily suddenly turned around and grabbed Niri by both shoulders. Niri immediately turned stiff.

"That was very rude! Apologise to Her Majesty!"

"Eh?" She made a sound that suggested she didn’t know what Lily was talking about.

"Don’t ’eh’ me. Do it now!"

Lily stepped aside and ushered Niri forward, positioning her in front of Cyrandel.

"Apologise. You don’t go around calling people things like that."

"Lily, stop," Cyrandel said, making Lily fall silent.

"I am terribly sorry, Your Majesty, but—"

"I am not mad," Cyrandel interrupted in the same calm and pleasant voice.

"So, her name is Niri. That’s a good name. Anyways, she must have sensed our similar talents to say something like that." She smoothly shifted the topic before continuing.

"As for ’big woman’..."

Cyrandel stepped forward and gently pinched both of Niri’s cheeks.

"You naughty girl. If you call me big, then what will you call the real big women of this world?"

Both Leo and Lily recalled the fact they had forgotten amid the urgency of the situation.

Cyrandel straightened up while patting the flustered Niri’s head.

"You really have a sharp mind," she said, raising her hand and summoning a crown-shaped item.

Leo’s eyes contracted sharply when the system displayed the information of the item, or rather, the artefact’s.

She paused, straightened up, and looked towards Leo.

Leo felt a bit conflicted. This Elven Empress was practically a stranger to him, yet somehow, she had managed to invade his privacy to such an extent without making herself overbearing.

He looked towards Niri, who was touching the crown with her fingers. She suddenly retracted her hand when the crown dissolved into thin air.

Cyrandel stroked her chin and explained that this was natural, since the crown only appeared when Niri used its powers.

"Let’s address this matter later..." Leo said.

Cyrandel shrugged.

"That’s for the best."

She was satisfied with Leo’s answer. Even she wouldn’t trust someone like herself right off the bat.

She then glanced towards Miho and Lily.

She turned back.
