A Warm Marriage After Rebirth

Chapter 429: Chapter 429: Seraphina Sterling’s Identity Exposed (1)
It was indeed a momentous day, but not just for Seraphina Sterling. This was a major event for the entire tech industry, the dawn of a revolution that would change the way people lived. And the company leading this new beginning was Keystone Technologies!
Two months prior, at a new product press conference held by Hale Corporation’s electronics R&D subsidiary, Keystone Technologies had released the source code for a translation software the two companies had been developing together. They then made a high-profile announcement: they were leaving the software development industry to focus solely on digital electronics and would be launching a new product in two months! And today was the day Keystone Technologies would officially announce its product launch to the public!
If not for Chester Sykes’s bold and decisive move to release the source code at Hale Corporation’s press conference, Keystone Technologies’s new product launch would have been just another insignificant blip in the industry. After all, countless companies in every sector launch so-called "new products" every day; no one can keep track of them all. But one had to admit, Chester Sykes had means and was ruthless enough. The conflict with Hale Corporation alone was enough to capture the public’s attention and build incredible hype for Keystone Technologies!
Hale Corporation’s electronics R&D company had poached Keystone Technologies’s entire research and development team. In retaliation, Chester Sykes leveraged Hale Corporation’s own influence to garner attention for Keystone Technologies. It was an unseen battle—a showdown between Chester Sykes and Kyle Warren, and between Seraphina Sterling and Justin Hale! Today, that battle would take a new turn and yield a new outcome!
"Seraphina Sterling! Sterling! Our great Miss Sterling! Are you really not coming? After all this time planning, isn’t this the day you’ve been waiting for? I guarantee, there won’t be a single hitch at the press conference today! You just sit back and watch the results roll in!" Nadia Chapman was in an office at Keystone Technologies, waiting for the event to begin.
"That confident?" Seraphina was still in her dorm room, changing her clothes.
"Of course! I mean, look who chose them!" The Nadia Chapman of today was not the same person she had been. Compared to just two months ago, she was completely transformed, like a new woman. She now radiated the aura of a top-tier professional.
"Well, since you’re so confident, there’s even less reason for me to go. Even if there’s a minor hiccup, I’m sure you can handle it. I’ll just wait here for your good news!"
Seraphina Sterling had never planned on attending the press conference. The more sensitive the timing, the more she needed to keep her distance. As it stood, only Chester Sykes, Nadia Chapman, and Genevieve knew that Keystone Technologies was her enterprise. She didn’t want that list to expand. The more people who knew, the more of a disadvantage she would be at. Justin Hale was no fool; on the contrary, he was incredibly smart. With so much happening at Hale Corporation under his management lately, he had likely already sensed something was amiss. At a time like this, it was more important than ever for her to remain steady.
"You crazy woman! This is your company, and it’s on the verge of doing something revolutionary, yet you won’t even show up! Seriously, what kind of leader are you? You spent all that time and energy planning everything, and now that the day has finally come to see the fruits of your labor, you’re not even going to witness it in person? After all this painstaking work, what was it all for?"
"President Chapman, the reporters are all in place! But... someone from Hale Corporation’s electronics R&D company is here!" a secretary reported softly, her voice tinged with anxiety. This secretary was a veteran employee at Keystone Technologies and was intimately aware of the company’s recent transformation.
Nadia Chapman could tell who had arrived just by the look on the secretary’s face. She covered the mouthpiece of her phone. "Let them come. Anyone who shows up today is a guest, so treat them well. Especially the representative from Hale Corporation. Have Manager Sykes go and greet them. There’s nothing wrong with old friends catching up before a press conference. I’m not such an unreasonable president that I’d deny Chester the chance to reminisce."
