Hearing her voice, Terrence Grant finally started to relax. As he gazed at her silhouette through the shower curtain, the scene from the car replayed vividly in his mind, and his mouth instantly went dry. ’Should I take a shower too?’

"I’m about to get out, so hurry up and leave! What are you doing just standing there!" Seraphina Sterling’s face was already beet red. The thought of herself sitting in the tub with a grown man standing just on the other side of the curtain made her blush even harder.

"I made a late-night snack. Get ready and come out, or it’ll get cold!" Terrence Grant forced himself to turn around. The woman he so desperately wanted was separated from him by nothing more than a shower curtain; his mind was already in a complete tizzy.

"Wait, bring my clothes in! I don’t have anything to wear!" Seraphina Sterling’s voice faded slightly. ’I never thought I’d end up in such a pitiful state, without even a change of clothes.’

Terrence Grant brought in the clothes Hughes had just delivered and then quickly left. The moment he shut the bathroom door, he sprinted back to his room, dove into his own bathroom, and turned on the cold water! ’She’s such a temptress! I finally manage to bring her home, and I’m the one being tortured! I really brought this on myself!’

Meanwhile, Seraphina Sterling wasn’t faring much better in the bathroom. Staring at the set of underwear, her face burned crimson. ’He even knows my underwear size! How sharp are his eyes?!’

Seraphina didn’t dare to dwell on it. She quickly threw on the clothes, gave her hair a few hasty rubs with a towel, and walked out of the bathroom. Just then, she saw Terrence Grant coming out with two bowls of tomato and egg noodles.

"You made this?" Seraphina Sterling stared at the steaming bowls of noodles, looking at him as if he were an alien.

"See how you like it." Terrence Grant handed her a pair of chopsticks. ’If I want to help her put on some weight, I have to start with food.’

In a large white porcelain bowl, two wedges of tomato rested on off-white noodles, while bits of vibrant green scallion and cilantro floated in the clear broth. It looked and smelled absolutely delicious, a truly mouthwatering sight. Seraphina hadn’t eaten much all day, so how could she possibly resist such a tempting meal? She picked up her chopsticks and immediately dug in!

Seeing her eat with such gusto, Terrence Grant found himself eating more than he intended. ’She might be a handful, but she’s easy to please. A simple bowl of tomato and egg noodles is enough to make her this happy.’

When she got to the end, Seraphina lifted the bowl to her lips and drank every last drop of the broth. Not a single thing was left—it was so clean it hardly needed washing. Not even a speck of cilantro remained! After she was done, she let out a satisfied burp. That was so delicious! "I never would’ve guessed you knew how to cook!"

"Is it so strange that I know how to cook?" Seeing that she was finished, Terrence Grant put down his chopsticks as well. The truth was, he wasn’t hungry at all; he had only made two bowls so he could eat with her, hoping it would encourage her to eat more. If he had only made one bowl for her, she still would have eaten it, but probably not with the same relish.

"The great Mr. Grant actually knows how to cook. Isn’t that enough to shock anyone? This is front-page news! I can hardly believe it! I never knew you were so domestic!" Seraphina Sterling leaned back against the sofa, not wanting to move an inch. It was a habit of hers to sprawl out on the sofa and refuse to move after a big meal.

As Terrence Grant cleared away the remnants of their meal, he said, "Your Mr. Grant has many sides you don’t know about. You can discover them all, little by little."
