Chapter 398: Chapter 398: Mr. Grant’s Mrs. Grant (Part 2)

"Good girl. Now that’s what I call obedient." Terrence Grant reluctantly pulled away from her delicate skin. If he could, he would have taken her right then and there.

Seraphina Sterling shot up and scrambled to put her clothes back on. ’I could tear Terrence Grant limb from limb!’ she fumed. ’Damn him, forcing my hand like that! I’m so furious!’ The only problem was that all the buttons on her shirt had met a heroic end in the struggle, leaving little difference between wearing it and not. Seething, Seraphina Sterling snatched the jacket Terrence Grant had just taken off and put it on instead.

"You’re buying me a new shirt!"

"As you wish, Mrs. Grant." Terrence Grant’s voice was still thick with barely suppressed desire, and his playful tone gave away his excellent mood. He started the car again.

"This isn’t the way back to school!" Seraphina Sterling eyed the man beside her warily, afraid he was plotting something else.

"You want to go back to school looking like this?" Terrence Grant’s voice was light, the smile never leaving the corners of his mouth. It was easy to tell just how good his mood was.

Remembering her ruined shirt and seeing his smug smile, Seraphina Sterling was so angry she wanted to bite him. And in fact, that’s exactly what she did. Ignoring that he was driving, she grabbed his arm and sank her teeth into his wrist. Seraphina was genuinely furious and bit down hard. Yet, Terrence Grant didn’t resist in the slightest. The smile on his face didn’t even waver.

Seraphina Sterling didn’t let go until she tasted blood. A deep, clear set of teeth marks was now imprinted on his wrist, with beads of blood already starting to well up. Seraphina frowned, taken aback by her own actions. ’I’m not a child anymore. How could I do something so immature! Is Terrence Grant that slow on the uptake? He didn’t even try to pull away?’ "Doesn’t that hurt?"

"It hurts," he said, "but this is a love mark from Mrs. Grant. Even if it hurts, I have to endure it." The smile on Terrence Grant’s face grew even wider. Gazing at the teeth marks on his wrist, his expression softened.

A moment ago, Seraphina Sterling had been feeling a pang of guilt. But hearing his words, any shred of apology she felt vanished into outer space. Terrence Grant had just set a new standard for shamelessness in her book. ’His skin is as thick as a concrete wall!’ "It’s just a little blood, it won’t scar," she retorted. "What are you talking about, a ’mark’? It’ll be gone in a few days!" Whether from anger or embarrassment, her cheeks were flushed crimson.

Terrence Grant didn’t get angry. He had plenty of ways to make sure those teeth marks remained. There was a type of medicine that could cause a wound to fester just enough. If it festered to a certain degree, it would definitely leave a scar.

If Seraphina Sterling knew what was going through Terrence Grant’s mind at that moment, she would have cursed him for being a lunatic. ’A psycho! He’s completely lost his mind!’

Terrence Grant drove directly into a residential complex. It wasn’t a clothing store, and it wasn’t the school.

"Aren’t you supposed to be buying me a new shirt? Where are we?" Terrence Grant was already out of the car, but Seraphina Sterling lingered in the passenger seat, hesitating. ’Should I get out?’

"My place." Terrence Grant opened her door, lifted her straight out of the car, and walked into the apartment building.

"Put me down! What are you doing?" Seraphina Sterling hissed, her bright eyes glaring at him fiercely. ’This is a residential area. I can’t shout. If I attract attention, I’m screwed! I’d die of embarrassment!’

"Shhh. Taking you home, of course," he murmured. "Relax, I’m not that desperate. Did you want to go back to school all sweaty? Besides, that hickey on you is pretty obvious. If you really want to go back sporting a hickey that big, I can take you to school right now." Terrence Grant offered this with a kind expression, but Seraphina Sterling was so furious she just gave him a massive eye-roll.
