A Vampire's Guide To Summoning Demons (BL)
Chapter 116
Chapter 116: Chapter 116
Qingyi was pleasant company for a short while, the Succubus eating most of the desserts she brought. Leaving with an empty tray and a bright smile when it was all eaten.
It had been a series of unexpected events ever since they arrived at the desert palace. Dulce’s initial plan had been to pay off Kath’tan death and then return to the west, all the while searching for a method to undo the Demon’s contract.
He walked over to a window and curiously looked out, the windows large and low enough to easily see out of even while seated on the ground.
Butterflies were flitting around, large as birds, waltzing from flower to flower. He was tempted to climb out of the window and sit on a flower as well, Huayuan was incredibly beautiful.
But not beautiful enough to take his worries off the affairs of his desert palace. Caedos had asked him not to leave again but he had barely stayed long enough to process the Hellhound’s words.
A cool breeze blew in, lifting his hair. It had been lively ever since his first attempt at Demon summoning, and despite his mistakes, he had no regrets.
The loneliness that always seemed to cling to him, dogging his footsteps had dissipated, now he had more company than he could manage.
Dulce didn’t give into the urge to step outside and lay on a lotus flower but he closed his eyes, his face turned up to the sun. It was strange, how much the Hells welcomed him, although he had no ties to it.
Ruoxi didn’t return until the flower-shaped sun sank and an absurdly large moon rose into the sky. It looked almost painted on, coating everything with a gentle silvery light.
Dulce was still seated by the window, comfortably laying on the cushions around. His face was still turned to the sky but his eyes were closed, the silver light of the moon making his pale features glow.
The moon was large enough that it was perfectly bright at night, as bright as twilight. His guard completely down that he didn’t lift his head until Ruoxi approached.
"You’re back," He said quietly, sitting up.
Ruoxi felt guilt, it had been so long since he had spoken to Lihua that he hadn’t noticed the passing of time. Qingyi had joined them after some time, their reminiscing endless.
"I kept you waiting," He lowered himself to sit next to the Vampire.
Dulce’s silver blue eyes gravitated towards the window again. "It was a pleasant wait."
The moonlight washed off all the color on his skin, making him appear paler than he was, his visage wraithlike.
"Are you hungry?" Ruoxi asked, "Although there are only desserts, fruits and wine to be had."
"I’m not hungry yet but that’s suitable," Dulce eagerly reassured him, pleased with the offered options. "Qingyi brought me an early lunch."
Ruoxi narrowed his eyes, already guessing that the Succubus ate a substantial amount of the meal. "What about flower wine?"
Dulce was tempted, there had only been so much in the dainty teapot, and he had to share with his company. Flower wine wasn’t as common so he was sorely tempted to take up Ruoxi on his offer.
"After you eat," He said instead, he had already taken off his overcoat and waistcoat while he sat waiting by the window. Not because he was warm as the weather was temperate but merely for comfort, wearing only a dress shirt.
Ruoxi fell quiet, he wasn’t starving and he no longer had to keep taking advantage of the Vampire’s kindness and true immortality, but he was hungry for his alluring taste, and was nothing if not a selfish, shameless Demon.
So he took the Vampire’s hand and pulled him against him while they were both seated, Dulce half-leaning and half-kneeling on him. In the time he spent with Lihua and Qinyi, they had insisted on him taking a soak in a hot springs, commenting on how uncomfortable Earth clothes looked.
So he was wearing only a patterned robe and loose pants. The robes were his mother’s so they somewhat fit, the lapels unbelted.
"Is this comfortable?" Dulce asked guilessly, their faces inches from each other.
Ruoxi’s dim gaze dropped from his eyes to the silvery sheen on his lips. The Vampire had always been striking but that had nothing to do with the hunger that swept through him in the moment.
Dulce made a move to rise to his feet without waiting for a response, "The bed might be more comfortable..."
Ruoxi ignored his words, pushing him down to his back before he could get up, following after him to pin him down to the carpeted floor.
Dulce’s pale hair was splayed out, contrasting with the rich blues and purples of the thick carpets underneath. He had drank generously from Kath’tan so he wasn’t worried that he would be too weak after the Incubus had eaten.
Ruoxi’s kisses were always brief, the goal simply to feed him aphrodisiacs. He remained passive as always, his breath hitching when the Incubus sucked on his tongue.
He already felt languid shortly into the kiss, feeling like his limbs were gradually dissolving into the shimmering waters just outside the window. The kiss wasn’t cut off abruptly this time, instead it deepened until he could taste Ruoxi’s tongue at the back of his throat.
He had to be the one to wrench away, feeling the pleasure build up higher and higher from a mere kiss, completely out of breath.
Ruoxi didn’t chase another kiss, giving in to his selfish desires and instead kissing down the Vampire’s neck. Dulce’s skin was a soft as he predicted, it lured him to suck harder, tempted to sink his teeth into his slender neck.
Dulce’s dazed expression could barely show his surprise, freed from the pleasurable torment for a moment when Ruoxi lifted his head from his neck.
The Demon’s mark glowed gold, his hair skillfully bound behind him for the first time, clearly done by his mother.
Ruoxi sat back and placed Dulce’s legs over his thighs, a thoughtful expression on his face like he had a lot to say.
"I’ll no longer harm the people I eat from," He divulged.
Dulce was visibly confused, Ruoxi’s eating sessions were usually a wave of insurmountable pleasure that crested higher and higher until it pulled him under. He could tell that the Demon wanted it to be over as quickly as possible, a conversation right in the middle of ’eating’ was the last thing he expected.
The Demon’s words were even more surprising, Dulce tried to sit up, his crotch uncomfortably tight. "That is a relief..." He started to say, worried that Ruoxi would be forced to stay by his side out of the risk of starving.
Ruoxi’s gold eyes darkened at that, he didn’t want to hear the Vampire say that.
"...umph," Dulce fell back to the carpets, caught unawares by another kiss. The rest of his words were swallowed down with a mouthful of aphrodisiac, his hands reflexively resting against the Demon’s shoulders although he made no move to push him off.
"How cruel," Ruoxi pouted, powerful hands covering the Vampire’s waist even as he did. "You’re so eager to throw me to the side."
Dulce was even more confused now, he expected that the Demon would be pleased by this development, it was the last tether to his captor after all. "Not... not at all," He managed to say calmly despite being breathless. "I summoned you for company," He reminded, trying to inch away from the Demon’s reckless hands moving higher up his dress shirt. It was rather difficult to hold a conversation while he was distracted.
Ruoxi stopped his hands from moving any higher, chastely holding on to Dulce’s waist to keep them from wandering. "Indeed," He agreed good-naturedly, his mood improving. "Do you like my company?"
It took a lot of effort for Dulce to keep up with the conversation, the aphrodisiac was starting to burn low in his stomach, spreading to the points where Ruoxi’s hands were on his bare skin. "Are you not hungry?" He asked in turn to get them back on track, trying his best not to squirm from discomfort.
Ruoxi lost his faint smile, "Would you not feed me if I weren’t?"
Dulce’s head was filling with gently sloshing water, his back slightly arching off the ground. He narrowed his eyes regardless, putting thought into the question.
An intimate relationship? The jumbled thought made him remember Kath’tan, his mind processing things slowly. Would that complicate things? Was he required to explain the matter to both parties?
Ruoxi slid his hands even lower, undoing the Vampire’s pants before lifting his hips higher for better access. He hadn’t been able to completely avoiding drinking with with Lihua and Qingyi, or he would have realized from the start how underhanded it was to have a conversation while the Vampire was in such dire straits.
From their new position, he could more easily see the Vampire’s face. He focused on his eyes fluttering close, a faint furrow between his brows as he slightly threw his head back.
So mild mannered in everything, even with a belly full of aphrodisiac, it was taunting. It tempted one to push the pale Vampire past his limit until he forgot all decorum.
