Alright. A date. I don't even know we do those. I'm not a girl that got ton of lovers after all. These two are my first. I wouldn't have it any other way of course.

But now I need to think of what we'll be doing today.

I'm glad I asked my classmates about some nice locations to visit when we weren't in the same class. There's also Luna that was... Pretty enthusiastic to give me recommendations. I can't understand that girl at all.

For once Anna and Eliza aren't in my room. They are in theirs dressing up. I told them to not do that of course. There is no need at all. It may be a 'date' but it's nothing fancy.

Well, I do understand their want to be beautiful. I would do the same if I was.

I should put more efforts in my outfit then. As I open my wardrobe... I see it's a little bare. Well, there's still plenty. And I don't want to go for something complicated. Simple is best. Even if I did like the first outfits I tried the first time. Those were really beautiful.

Simple.. Hm I see what to wear.

A white blouse with short sleeves reaching mid-biceps, a high waisted black pleated skirt that stopped mid-thigh, black stockings reaching a little below the skirt. I also took a brown jacket going down my waist and put it on. To finish the outfit I put a pair of black and white sneakers. After a little check on the mirror in my room, I finally go to the living-room to sit on the sofa.

It's Eliza that comes out first twenty minutes later and... I'm speechless. She opted for something simple too. But it suits her so well.

She has a white ribbed turtleneck sweater with long sleeves with a black leather jacket on top of it. Her legs are covered by a high-waisted, ankle-length deep burgundy pleated skirt. It seems to be flowing a little when she's walking. Her ankle boots with high stiletto heels finish the whole outfit. It feels like a perfect fall outfit.

She's gorgeous. Am I really dating such a girl? What is she doing with me?!

She came up right in front of me, smiled and bent a little to look in my eyes.

"Earth to Jane, do you hear me? What? Speechless?"

I didn't answer, I couldn't. So I just nodded my head. She leaned a little more, her lips near one of my ears.

"It's all yours you know? Always has been. I wouldn't dress up for anyone else." Her whisper is low and a little hoarse.

My ear is sent in a twitching frenzy with her breath on it while my face warm intensely again. She backs out a little as she takes my hand in hers without breaking eye contact. Then she kisses my fingertips slowly. I feel like my whole body is starting to blush with how warm I'm feeling right now.

She always do that!

Every times she kisses here, it's like she is taking a Oath as a knight for me. It's a weird thought, I know. But that's the feeling she's giving. Especially since she does it a lot.

She finally let go of my hand to take a step backward. Her eyes roam on my own outfit for a few second, the smile on her lips widening a little.

"I must say, even in such simple outfit you are still so cute."

"T-thanks. But stop it that's not true..." I finally got my voice back to answer her, my voice tinged with bashfulness.

Eliza doesn't have time to answer with Anna's room opening. And I'm speechless for the second time. Seems like she didn't want to keep up with the 'simple' theme. Not like we talked about it at all.

She's wearing a thin black sleeveless top with subtle vertical detailing and some lace on the neckline. On the bottom she has a high-waisted black straight short skirt with two flower pattern on the hem. The stitches are a light colour contrasting the rest of the skirt. Her belt end as a bow in front of her.

Her entire frame is covered with an oversized dusty-pink plaid jacket, open with long wide sleeves.

Around one of her thighs is a black strap/garter with a small gold butterfly shaped detail.

Her feet are covered with black ankle boots and red socks.

She looks cute, relaxed, and strangely sexy if she takes her jacket off. She comes near us with a bounce and grin, showing her fangs, when she sees me speechless.

"Sooo, how do I look? Well, I actually don't think I need to ask given your reaction!" Her voice is cheery and full of pride.

She can be proud. This is a great outfit. And it does fit her a lot. Maybe too much even.

Wait. Is that a good idea? They will attract a lot of attention. What if they get taken away by someone else? Hm.. If they are happy... I guess that's all for the better?

I shake my head a little to get rid of those thoughts. My dear twin grabbed my arm to stick to me with a wide smile on her lips.

"You look so beautiful too Jane! I need to see you in more outfits like that! Or maybe with nothing on..."

The last bit was whispered but, maybe on purpose, I still heard it. My cheeks warmed even more, I didn't know it was possible, as a tiny strangled noise escaped my lips.

"Wait. I just remembered. But aren't we supposed to stay in the Academy in weeks days? It's Friday today, we are supposed to study or train." Eliza suddenly said.

"It's fine. I asked Virina yesterday by message. She said we could and she would talk to the guard at the door." I shrugged with a smile as I answered her worries.

She visibly sagged in relief. I know Eliza is very serious in her studies. She always has been the first in class and she genuinely likes studying. She finds it pretty fun. I have no idea how she can think that though.

"I kind of didn't want to wait too long... And at least we won't see any other students while out. We'll avoid annoying whispers." I add.

If we can't avoid those while in the Academy, I intend to avoid it anytime I can. Not that it's absolutely annoying. But hearing your name get whispered all the time tends to get tiring at some point.

"That's nice! Virina is a nice person! She is pretty cool and relaxed too. I never thought she would be like that." Anna said.

"Yeah! I was so nervous when facing her. Then you both spoke casually and nearly scared me out of my skin!" Eliza's voice is a little resentful and we both smiled sheepishly.

"Anyway! Let's go?"

I jump out of the sofa before walking to the door, my tail swishing with enthusiasm behind me. A few minutes later we were finally outside the door leading to the Academy, that guard still in front of it. I waved him goodbye with thanks and tool their hands in mine.

"What do you have in mind, Jane?" Anna asked me, curiosity flooding her voice.

"Hmm, well. I'm not knowledgeable you know. But first why don't we go to a café to grab breakfast? It's early and we didn't eat!" I answer with a smile.

They both nod with smile on their faces. We don't need to wait long before a bus came to our stop. I knew where to go, classmates recommended one nice and cosy café. Something not too crowded usually. And it's quite close to the Academy too. A few of them actually planned to go there on the weekend since it's their usual spot.

Less than ten minutes later we're in front of a small shop decorated with vines and plants. When we enter we can feel the warmth floating inside. It feels cozy and calming. We sit in one corner of the café. Of course they both sit next to me without a inch of hesitation.

We casually order a few pastries, coffee and tea for me. All of our favorites though. I'm glad they do have pistachio.

"That's a great place. It kind of miss our old café though. It was a little our hideout right?" Anna says with laughter in her voice.

"That's true. I'll miss it too. As long as there's no idiotic full of cliché dudes that try to hit on us." I answer with a smile. "Eliza was cool at that time though!"

Each of my spoonful of pistachio cake is making me vibrate in joy again and I can feel both of their gaze burning my sides.

Well, at least they aren't making weird noises like last time...

Then those noises still rang out briefly.

Nevermind...

"I agree. She was like a knight coming to save her Lady!" Anna giggled between two mouthful of chocolate cake. "She does feel like a knight sometimes. Even though she's a shield master."

"Right?! I think so too. She act like that a lot of time! Kissing my fingers like she's taking a Oath to me."

"It fluster you, Jane, so it's fun." Eliza answer with a mischievous smile on her lips.

"Hey!" I exclaim, my ears perking up high on my head with indignation.

They both giggled at my reaction before planting a kiss on my cheeks at the same time.

""But you are adorable when flustered"" They whisper in my ears in synchro.

They immediately flatten on my head as they twitch furiously, a blush creeping on my cheeks.

Too intense! Did they practice in secret?!

"D-Don't whisper in my ears please!" I try to plead, my voice sounding pitiful, as my tail is lashing behind me in embarrassement.

In response they both start to scratch behind my ears, a purr rumbling from my chest instantly. I decide to ignore this and simply continue to eat. Each time I open my mouth to take a bite, the purr rings slightly louder. We spent the next few minutes talking quietly to not disturb the other patrons presents. Mostly about stories in our childhood. Also some teachers of the Academy.

"I really don't like prof Velpi. He's... Too arrogant and talks like we're three years old just fresh out of daycare! I want to hit him in the face" I say with a frown.

"He is quite annoying yes. And he gives me a bad feeling too. Like... He's plotting something? I don't know maybe I'm a little paranoiac" Eliza answer, her voice a little hesitant.

"Oh you too? I feel the same. It may be because we don't like him though. I'll still stay wary." Anna chimed from my other side with a nod.

Seems like we all think the same. That's good, at least we'll get a little less surprised if he do something.

A few minutes later and we finished our breakfast. After paying the bill we get out of the café and they immediately grab my arms on each side, lacing our fingers together.

"Let's go! I heard there's a really nice aquarium to visit in the city!" I say with a big smile, tail swaying softly behind me.

Yes, it's kind of basic. Like a staple date location, but I'm doing my best. It's not something I know how to, organising a date... But I do know they like fishes. And there's ton of beautiful fishes we'll get to see..

Maybe they are also delicious?

It doesn't take us very long to reach the aquarium and it's as big as I heard it was. They even made a second and third floor for it. And apparently there's also some underground exposition.

One thing that kind of surprise me is the very affordable price to enter.

"I want to see penguins!" Anna exclaim immediately after we enter.

"Hmm. There's a show in ten minutes." Eliza answer, a brochure listing the various show and the hours when they are active.

"Then let's go quick!" Anna says dragging me by the arm. I have to tug on Eliza's to follow properly, a smile on my face.

As we make our way to the penguin show, we see some pretty exotic fishes. We don't stop though, or we would be late, but I make a note to come back here after that.

The little stadium where the show is held is packed with people. So much that we almost don't find a seat. The moment we sit Eliza raise her hand and a very thin and almost transparent blue shield shimmer in existence in front of us.

"So we don't get splashed by water. We never know." She says when I send her a questioning glance, curious.

That's a great idea actually. In theory nothing should happens. But if those animals feel mischievous it's not that uncommon to be drenched by the water they splash around.

A little bit of waiting and the show finally start. The penguin's caretaker makes them enter through a little door in the back of their enclosure. There's around five animals wobbling toward the big stretch of water artificially made. They all plunge in it and starts to do some acrobaties under the water.

Anna is delighted next to me and keep making happy little noises each time she sees a penguin do a trick. She never told me that apparent love for penguins.

I guess it makes sense when she had quite a few penguins plushies in her room before.

To the dismay of my dear twin and girlfriend, the show didn't last very long. When the animals wobble back to their enclosure she makes a very disappointed sound. Even her wings on her lower back are dropping slightly. I can't stop a giggle as I pet her wings slowly to soothe her.

"It's fine Anna. I'll get you a penguin plushie again. But you never told me you liked them!"

"Well... We couldn't really go to an aquarium sooo... I never had the occasion." She shrugged as she answered.

"Can we... Go see sharks?" Eliza timidly chimed from the side.

"Of course. We're here to see fishes and things like that right? Then let's go!" I answer, getting up and pulling on their hands.

Since this time we're not pressed by the time, we stop by a few tanks with colourful fishes. Some are blue, some green. We even see a few the colour of rainbow. Some of them were very ugly too. They both laughed when I tried to replicate the faces of those fishes.

"Look! It's a hammerhead shark! Isn't it quite goofy?!" Eliza's voice is full of excitement.

It's rare to see her like that, she's usually composed and calm. But right now? She looks like an excited little girl. My smile is warm as I see her going from tank to tank while explaining what species each shark is.

They are both cute when they see something they really like.

If I buy a penguin plushie for Anna, I'm buying a shark plushie for Eliza. I have to. First it wouldn't be fair for her. Second I want to see her happy.

Yes. That's what I want the most. Their happy smiles.

Anna and I join Eliza in her crusade of exploring each species of shark the aquarium hold. And there's quite a few. Seems like we'll spend a lot of time here. But it's fine, even Anna is smiling widely as she banter with Eliza on what shark is the best.

Sadly for them it's soon lunch and as much as they want to stay longer, their stomach aren't agreeing with them. It made a loud noise of protest as they first ignored it. I giggle a little at that sound, until mine made the same one. This time it's their turn to laugh.

"Come on, let's go eat. Let's just go to their shop first." I say, laughing with them.

The shop is pretty big. There's a lot of fish-themed goodies everywhere. Keychains, plushies, books about species, even some food with fish in it. I let them choose a plushie each. Of course they tried to pay, but there's no way I'm letting them do that. It's my gift to them. It's not even related on some weird principle that one person should pay for everything in a date. That's an old fashioned way of thinking. We did decide to split the bills for our purchases today.

Well, they imposed that to me. I did want to pay for a majority because I simply wanted to please them. But when I said that they scolded me.

However I'm not giving ground this time. A gift is a gift. Their smile is worth it, they each clutch their plushies to their chest as they giggle in glee.

"Where to go Jane?" Anna ask me, her smile still on her face.

"A little italian restaurant. I heard their pizza and pasta are amazing!" I answer with a smile, almost salivating at the thought of food.
