A unique race in the world?

The world isn't really peaceful. Monsters, dungeons. Those appeared thousands years ago, and now the world adapted.

Everyone aged eighteen undergoes an "awakening", acquiring powers that didn't exist before. Even sometimes changing races.

In an inconspicuous corner of a city lives Jake, a young man feeling bad in his skin. We'll follow his journey after his awakening and the transformation he undergoes at that moment.

But why did he get a race no one transformed to since the first awakenings?

Hello everyone! So, i was a bit itchy to start writing again for real. I can't give you a schedule for the chapters, so for now consider that i'll post once i'm satisfied. It could be once per week, every day or every other day. I don't know. I don't want to make the same mistake as before and burn myself down by writing a chapter a day and rushing it.

Also, i'll add some tags later on, when the chapters talk about it. So there's no "spoils" about my future plans.

I do hope you'll take note that I am NOT a native english speaker. So there will be typos and grammatical errors. Don't hesitate to tell me!
