Afterwards, she went directly to Jiang Jingheng’s office.

She spoke earnestly: "Jing Heng, think carefully about how to resolve this matter. The shareholders are really angry this time; you should temper your attitude and properly apologize to them."

Jiang Jingheng flipped through the files in his hand without even lifting his eyelids, let alone responding to her.

Jiang Wenhui frowned and continued, "At a time like this, can’t you be serious? Just now, the shareholders were saying they want to replace you at a board meeting next time."

"Isn’t that exactly what you want?" Jiang Jingheng said indifferently.

Jiang Wenhui froze for a moment, then said, "Jing Heng, you’ve misunderstood me; I have never had such thoughts."

"Is it that you haven’t, or you don’t dare, or you don’t dare to let it be known?" Jiang Jingheng retorted, closing the file and looking up at her.

Saying this, she turned and walked out.

Leaving the president’s office, Jiang Wenhui received a phone call.

She glanced at the caller ID, didn’t answer immediately, and headed towards the stairs.

"It went smoothly; I won’t forget your kindness. I’ll treat you to dinner another day."

Jiang Wenhui hung up the phone, stared at the notifications on her cellphone for a while, and then made a call to Song Cheng’an.
